Abstract

Multicultural education has become an important issue in the context ofeducation in the current era of globalization. This research aims toinvestigate the role of multicultural education in shaping the character ofstudents (santri) in Pondok Pesantren Buntet. Through a qualitativeapproach, data were collected through participant observation,interviews, and analysis of relevant documents. The literature reviewinvolved the concepts of multicultural education, the character of studentsin the context of Islamic education, and the role of Islamic boardingschools (pondok pesantren) in multicultural education. The results of thestudy indicate that Pondok Pesantren Buntet implements a multiculturalapproach through its curriculum, activities, and programs designed topromote understanding, appreciation, and tolerance towards cultural andreligious diversity. The implementation of multicultural education in thisIslamic boarding school has a positive impact on the development ofstudents' character, including multicultural awareness, tolerance, and abroader understanding of global society. This research contributes to theunderstanding of the importance of multicultural education in shaping thecharacter of students in Islamic boarding schools and provides insightsfor the development of curriculum and practices of multicultural educationin similar institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan di abad ke-21 menghadapi tuntutan untuk mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang responsif terhadap perubahan sosial, teknologi, dan ekonomi yang cepat. Konsep inovasi pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan pentingnya mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi bagi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja yang terus berkembang. Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Indonesia muncul sebagai upaya untuk memperkuat kemandirian dan relevansi pendidikan tinggi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Kampus Merdeka Belajar di STIT Buntet Pesantren dan menganalisis peluang serta tantangan yang terkait. Melalui pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan dosen dan survei kepada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas dosen di STIT Buntet Pesantren memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang konsep inovasi pembelajaran abad 21 dan mengakui pentingnya mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi bagi mahasiswa. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar meliputi perubahan paradigma pembelajaran, integrasi kebijakan kurikulum dengan struktur organisasi yang ada, perubahan dalam penilaian dan evaluasi mahasiswa, serta pengembangan sumber daya pendukung seperti teknologi dan fasilitas. Sementara itu, data dari survei terungkap bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa menyadari pentingnya inovasi pembelajaran abad 21 dan keterampilan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri. Namun, mereka masih perlu pemahaman yang lebih jelas tentang bagaimana mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut dan menerapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran mereka. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi praktis dalam meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan tinggi dengan dunia nyata, mengembangkan keterampilan yang diinginkan oleh industri, dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Studi ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan, dosen, dan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Kampus Merdeka Belajar. Saran untuk penelitian masa depan mencakup fokus pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inovatif dan evaluasi terhadap efektivitas Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Kata Kunci: inovasi pembelajaran abad 21, Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, implementasi, pendidikan tinggi, keterampilan mahasiswa Abstract Education in the 21st century faces the demand to develop learning approaches that are responsive to rapid social, technological, and economic changes. The concept of innovation in 21st century learning emphasizes the importance of developing critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills for students to meet the evolving demands of the workforce. The Independent Learning Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar) in Indonesia has emerged as an effort to enhance autonomy and relevance in higher education. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at STIT Buntet Pesantren Campus and analyze the related opportunities and challenges. Through a qualitative research approach, data was collected through interviews with lecturers and surveys among students. The research findings indicate that the majority of lecturers at STIT Buntet Pesantren have a good understanding of the concept of innovation in 21st century learning and acknowledge the importance of developing critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills for students. However, challenges in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum include changes in the learning paradigm, integration of curriculum policies with existing organizational structures, shifts in student assessment and evaluation methods, and the development of supporting resources such as technology and facilities. Meanwhile, survey data reveals that most students are aware of the importance of innovation in 21st century learning and the relevance of skills demanded by industries. However, they still require clearer understanding on how to develop and apply these skills in their learning contexts. The findings of this study have practical implications in enhancing the relevance of higher education to real-world needs, developing skills desired by industries, and improving the quality of learning in higher education institutions. The study provides insights for policymakers, lecturers, and students in addressing the challenges and leveraging the opportunities of implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum at STIT Buntet Pesantren Campus. Suggestions for future research include a focus on developing innovative learning strategies and evaluating the effectiveness of the Independent Learning Curriculum. Abstract

Pendidikan inklusi merupakan model pendidikan yang menjadi fasilitas bagi siswa anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) untuk dapat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran secara bersama dengan siswa non ABK di sekolah dan kelas regular. Dalam dunia pendidikan guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) memiliki peran penting dalam mensukseskan kegiatan di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian terkait persepsi dan implementasi guru BK terhadap pendidikan inklusi. Tujuannya agar dapat dipahami sejauh mana pandangan guru BK terhadap pendidikan inklusi serta mengetahui implementasi yang dilakukan guru BK dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yakni dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya yakni satu guru BK serta satu guru pendamping khusus (GPK). Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian yang dilakukan ialah guru BK dari sekolah tersebut memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap pendidikan inklusi, bahkan sudah memahami terkait konsep dasar ABK dan Pendidikan inklusi. Namun, dalam implementasinya, guru BK tidak terlalu berperan penting, karena segala yang berhubungan dengan siswa ABK dan pendidikan inklusi menjadi tugas dari GPK, guru BK hanya membantu GPK dalam hal tersebut.

Abstract

The implementation of counseling guidance services at this MANU Putri school uses group counseling and individual counseling methods. with this study aims to change the views of students on counseling guidance. That counseling guidance is not only a place to deal with problematic students, but also provides assistance such as career guidance, and helps solve problems that are being experienced by students. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research, using a case study approach and conducting interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are to find out how and what counseling services are provided for women where the majority of students are students and some outsiders

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan yaitu; 1). Strategi pesantren dalam meningkatkan karakter santri di pesantren Riyadlul ‘ulum wadda’wah, 2) Strategi pesantren dalam meningkatkan karakter santri melalui organisasi santri., 3) Hasil pelaksanaan strategi pesantren dalam meningkatkan nilai-nilai karakter santri melalui organisasi santri di pesantren Riyadlul ‘ulum wadda’wah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif dengan sumber data diperoleh dari Ketua Yayasan, Pengasuhan santri, ustadz ustadzah, santrim engurus OSPC dan ALumni Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/ferivikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Strategi Pesantren dalam meningkatkan Nilai-Nilai Karakter Santri melalui Organisasi Santri Pesantren Condong Cibeureum Tasikmalaya Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Strategi yang dilakukan oleh Pesantren untuk meningkatkan nilai-nilai karakter santri di Pondok Pesantren Riyadlul ‘Ulum Wadda’wah Kota Tasikmalaya yaitu: keteladanan, penanaman disiplin, pembiasaan, dan integrasi dengan ektrakurikuler (kepengurusan OSPC). (2) Proses pelaksanaan meningkatkan nilai-nilai karakter santri melalui Organisasi Santri Pesantren Condong (OSPC) di Pondok Pesantren Riyadlul ‘Ulum Wadda’wah Kota Tasikmalaya, dilakukan melalui pengertian, keteladanan, penanaman disiplin, pembiasaan, dan pengkondisian yang kondusif untuk menumbuhkan karakter santri. (3) Hasil meningkatkan Karakter Santri Melalui Organisasi Santri Pesantren Condong (OSPC) dikatakan berhasil, sehingga lulusannya mampu memiliki pemikiran dan perbuatan yang sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan pendidikan karakter yang dirumuskan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional.

Abstract

Character education management is an effort made by the government and implemented in school institutions to change the behavior of students into noble morals. Character education is pursued by developing the potential and interests and talents of students in full so that the achievement of educational goals is achieved starting from the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. But the fact is that character education at school has not been effective. The purpose of this research is to find out the policies, programs, implementation, coordination, control, obstacles encountered, the noble character of students as a result of character education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The sample was determined purposively by setting a sample of school principals, vice principals, subject teachers, Bk students. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The theory used by G.R Terry's theory of management is also Thomas Lickona about character education and Al-Ghazali about Morals. The findings of this study are: Character education policies that exist in schools contained in a pocket book / code of conduct even though it has not been fully socialized well despite the socialization efforts have been made. The character education program is already running but has not been carried out optimally according to the needs of the interests and talents of the students. Implementation has been carried out by schools but is still not optimal in utilizing existing resources, Coordination shows that it has not been effective between the coordination partners and the school even though efforts have been made, Control has been implemented but is still not effective because it is still hampered by infrastructure and human resources suggestions. Constraints faced come from the family, community, school, human resources, association, the media, the swift flow of globalization and lack of supervision from parents. The results of character education show that some students have behaved well, such as protecting the environment, achieving achievements, speaking politely.

Abstract

The development of independence of each child is different, as well as 3 children in Amarta Tani HKTI Kindergarten Bandar Lampung. There are also factors that cause the three children in the kindergarten have not reached the target of independence, namely because of the environment and parenting style around the child. The purpose of this study was to describe how independent attitudes are in early childhood. This research was carried out in class 0A RA Islamiyah II Martapura. This study used a qualitative approach, with 3 children in the subject. Data collection using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Based on the results of research on 3 children conducted at RA Islamiyah II Martapura, there are children who have not been independent in the aspect of cognitive independence development, some have not shown Independence attitude on the emotional aspect only.
