Objective of this study is to determine development of sharia-based school culture in creating character education of students in The Integrated Islamic Vocational School (SMK IT) of Surakarta which includes factors inhibiting development of school culture and the Sharia-based solution.This study is a qualitative descriptive one. The research was conducted at SMK IT. Subjects of this study is principal, student andvice principal of student affairsof the school, while teacher, homeroom, teacher of guidance and counseling, boardinghouse caregiver as an informant. Methods of data collection used interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that the sharia-based school culture that has been developed through religious activities and school culture coming from moral values of Islam can lead to character education in everyday life, in practice there were some obstacles derived from both internal and external of the school. Internal barriers were innate character of students, lack of infrastructure, unstable team work, educational background of the student, and wicked nature of the student. As for the external factors were obstacles derived from negative impact of globalization and technological sophistication, lack of support from parents, social influence, influence of social patterns before staying at the boardinghouse. Diversity is a blessed but also can be a cause of destructive conflict like already happened at some places in Indonesia. Based on that fact, tolerance is a value that needs to be inculcated to every student, through co curricular and extra-curricular activity like Moslem Youth Community at school. This research aims to describe about tolerance categories Moslem Youth Community member of a school in Bekasi. Method of this research is qualitative and data collected by interview and document analysis. Participants were chosen based on purposive sampling that include its coordinators, teacher who in charge for that extra-curricular, and mentor. This research got result that Moslem Youth Community of that school accept and respect to diversity based on their awareness, and they give others chances to do their worship, although they did not do an action to support it. In conclusion, that Moslem Youth Community is in passive tolerance category.Keywords: Tolerance, Youth, ROHIS, Multicultural Education, Diversity.

To set up a boarding school student (PESMA) required a management model that can be used as guidelines in managing Pesma in FITK IAIN Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to produce a management model pesantren students with appropriate characteristics and can be implemented in FITK IAIN Surakarta.This study employed Research and Development, carried out in an environment FITK IAIN Surakarta of the month from May to July 2015. Data obtained came from dean, vice of dean, student representative, expert evaluation and boarding. The data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Data were taken from the questionnaires were analyzed with SPSS 17. The results showed that the model of management of boarding students in FITK IAIN Surakarta consisted of the following characteristics: 1) the model of management of Pesantren Mahasiswa generated through four stages of development steps are: a) planning, b) develope preliminary form of product, c) preliminary field testing, d) the final product revision; 2) the instruments of boarding school management of students have high validity and reliability.Keywords: management model, student boarding school

The purposes of this study are: (1) to determine the influence of creativity and productivity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers of all primary schools in district Baturetno, Wonogiri of 2015/2016 (2) to determine the influence between work motivation and productivity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers of all primary schools in district Baturetno, Wonogiri of 2015/2016 (3) to determine the influence of creativity and work motivation and productivity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers of all primary schools in district Baturetno Wonogiri of 2015/2016. This research was conducted at all elementary schools of Baturetno, Wonogiri districts consisted of 32 schools. The method used in this study was a quantitative correlation. Methods of data collection used a questionnaire. The conclusions of this study are (1) There is an influence between creativity and productivity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers of all primary schools in district Baturetno. (2) There is an influence between work motivation and productivity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers of all primary schools in district Baturetno. (3) There is an influence between creativity and work motivation as well as productivity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers of all primary schools in district Baturetno.Keywords: Influence of creativity, Work motivation, Teacher productivity

Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan Laboratorium PGMI dalam Perkuliahan IPA Suyatman Suyatman

Based on documentation of pgmi mentioned that college students are derived from background science class is 36,98 % , less than 50 % of the student PGMI .This has led consequence that lecture believe in science ranging from the base and supported by the laboratory adequate .The laboratory adequate will build real kosep students in understand science.Steps analysis needs research laboratory PGMI in lecture ipa is as follows: 1) analysis of need assessment, 2) the literature study, 3) study komparasi , 4) expert judgment, 5) improvement. Based on analysis of the data can pull conclusions as follows: 1) The lab PGMI FITK IAIN Surakarta especially for science laboratory having 85 set equipment consisting of 737 the tools and can be used to 121 title science experiments. 2) Additional needs necessary the 25 set equipment science experiments, with details as follows: kit science less 24 set, consisting of the balance KIT 4 sets, mineral KIT 5 sets, Sound KIT 4 sets, coal KIT 6 sets, and heat engine KIT 5 sets, and science integrated KIT less 1 set, and 5 the microscopes.Keywords: analysis needs , the development of a laboratory, IPA lecture

Until now, the education system in our country is more emphasis on the cognitive aspect than educating for character. Meanwhile, the globalization in 21st has given rise to the phenomenon of free trade, dependence science and technology (ICT, Bio-technology, Nano-technology), global life (Speed, Conectivity, Intangable, and Compatibility), human rights, issues of democratization, environment, gender, and multiculturalism. SDIT Nur Hidayah is a school has applied to try appliying character building. These programs of character building is implementating from their own religion. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Subject of these researchs are teachers and students. And informan of these researchs are headmaster, employees, and parents of the children.The results of this research shows that the information program of the characters in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta applied intensively (daily, weekly, monthly). The programs include 1. integrated in the leraning process, 2. any other programs: Pekan Pembiasaan, Pekan Kedisiplinan, Mentoring, Mutaba’ah Alyaumiyah. The purpose of these programs is intended to build characters of the students. These programs are not only comprehensive, but also very unique. The children are so enjoy and enthusiastic in carrying out various characters, and we hope they have a basic foundation of strong character.Keywords: Character Building, based on Religion

Penguatan Sikap Percaya Diri melalui Dreams Book bagi Siswa Kelas I SDN Tegalombo I Kalijambe Sragen Yan Vita

This article aims to explore the reinforcement of confidence through dreams book. In the early condition, the students have low self-confidence. To increase theself-confidence of the students, the teacher begins to explore the dreams of the students and make the students realize their dreams through dreams book. Through qualitative descriptive, this research described how to implement dreams book in the learning process. The teacher asked the students to make simple book consisted of four pages. As the evaluation, the teacher used some assessments, such as observation, self-assessment, and friend assessment. The teacher asked the student to fill out the sheet of self-assessment rubric and friend assessment rubric. For the observation, the teacher made observation rubric. From the result of this evaluation, the teacher concluded that self-confidence of the students showed improvement. As much as 34% and 36% of students obtain score 3 and 4, respectively. Therefore, the students who get a score above the KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) is 80%. It means that the score in every indicator of self-confidence showed improvement.Keywords: Self-confidence, dreams book

Evaluasi Pembelajaran di Madrasah Diniyah Miftachul Hikmah Denanyar Tangen Sragen Subar Junanto

The problems occurred in Madrasah Diniyah Miftachul Hikmah were the lack of funding, teachers’ competence, facilitiesand infrastructure, as well as theallocation of study time. The aim of this study was to evaluate the learning process at this school. This research employed combined qualitative and quantitative methods;conducted in Madrasah Diniyah Miftachul Hikmah Denanyar village, Tangen subdistrict, Sragen regency on 2015. The subject of this study was the teachers and students of this school.The data was gathered through aquestionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation which later analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively using CIPP (context, input, process, product) evaluation model. The ContextEvaluation showed that community’s participation in administrating this school was low, evidenced by the absent of suggestions and ideas from students’ parents for the continuation of the program. The Input Evaluation indicated that facilities and infrastructure in this school categorized as inadequate, only 60% of the real need of supporting facilities, learning materials, skills materials and kits are. The Process Evaluation on teachers activities in the learning process observed from preparation, strategy, ending the class, management and evaluation of learning process are categorized as adequate. Lastly, the Product Evaluation based on the data showed that majority of students thought that Madrasah Diniyahprovides enough benefits, none of them thought otherwise.Keywords: Learning evaluation, Madrasah Diniyah, CIPP evaluation model.

Integrasi dalam Sistem Pendidikan Islam di Desa Mundu Pesisir Kabupaten Cirebon Yeti Nurizzati

Mundu Pesisir is one of the coastal areas in Cirebon with themajorityof Moslem community that allows rapid development of Islamic education. However, they demanded anintegrated Islamic education in order to produce competent graduates with a good personality. The problems are: How the Islamic education system in this village? What is the percentage of the implementation of an integrated Islamic education there? How is the comparison of the implementation of Islamic education there? This study was an evaluative study with a quantitative comparationalapproach. Selection of samples used proportional stratified random sampling technique with questionnaires distributed to students of DTA Islamiyah 1, MTs Islamiyah and MA Mundu Pesisir. Data was processed using the percentage technique, F test, and Pearson correlation test. Implementation of Islamic education in DTAI 1 Mundu Pesisir, when compared with the characteristics of an integrated Islamic education, reached 91.5%; MTI 86.25%; and MAI 87.25%. Implementation of Islamic education in all three madrasah did not differ significantly at the 5% error level. There was a very strong correlation with a very real significance at 1% error level.Keywords: Islamic Education System, Integration, Mundu Pesisir.

Child-friendly education model will create students who not only intellectually intelligent but also spiritually intelligent. Unfortunately, theschool has not been a child-friendly environment. Students often experience bully from their friends or abuse from their teachers or another party in school. The objective of this research is to describe the implementation of child-friendly education on students of Class VB SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. This research was conducted by aqualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The subject of the study were teachers and students of that class. While other teachers, staffs, securities, and headmaster were the informant. Data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation; applying data and method triangulation. Data was analyzed using interactive analysis model. In achild-friendy education environment, students are treated as the object of education but as the subject instead. They are free to learn and to create under conducive environment. Child-friendly education in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta includes: physically friendly, nonphysically-friendly, in-class learning, and out-class learning.Keywords: Education, child-friendlyeducation, child-friendly environment.
