Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the market reacted to the covid-19 event that occurred in Indonesia, namely the existence of PSBB Volume I, New Normal, PSBB Volume II, the entry of the sinovac vaccine phase 1 to Indonesia, and the injection of the first vaccine to President Jokowi using abnormal returns and trading volume activity as an indicator of investor reaction in the capital market. In this study, there were 30 samples of IDX30 companies for the January 2021 period. To test investor reactions, an event study was used to measure the difference in reactions before and after the event. This study also used paired sample t-test for normally distributed data and the Wilcoxon sign rank test for data that were not normally distributed. The results of this study in the PSBB Volume I and New Normal events there was no abnormal return either before or after the event, in the PSBB Volume II event there was a positive abnormal return, 2 days before PSBB Volume II and negative abnormal returns 3 days after, in the event of the entry of the sinovac vaccine phase 1 into Indonesia, there was a negative abnormal return 2 days before the event, and in the event of the first vaccine injection to President Jokowi, there was a negative abnormal return 2 days before the event. However, there is no significant difference between abnormal returns before and after all events. While trading volume activity in the PSBB Volume I, New Normal, the entry of the sinovac vaccine phase 1 to Indonesia, and the first vaccine injection to President Jokowi, there was no difference between the activities before and after the event. But in the PSBB Volume II, there were significant differences in trading volume activity before and after the event.

Abstract

The quality of customer service in companies is often affected by ethics and poor employee performance, lack of employee training on the necessary skills. These challenges lead to companies losing customers, declining quality, and being criticized in terms of service, lack of morale which leads to low productivity and hinders the achievement of PT XL AXIATA's goals. This study aims to determine the effect of employee work ethics and employee training on customer service quality in the service department. In particular, with the main objective to determine the relationship between Employee Performance and Customer Service Quality at PT XL AXIATA, the mediation results of employee training and the influence on the relationship between Employee Performance and Customer Service Quality at PT XL AXIATA. As well as the combined effect of ethics and employee training on the quality of customer service at PT XL AXIATA. The author adopted a descriptive research design. This study uses quantitative methods. The type of data used in this study is primary data, which means that the data is obtained directly by the respondent. In this study, the distribution of questionnaires as many as 83 respondents. The test used to test is a research instrument in the form of validity test, reliability test and classical assumption test. From the results of data processing using the T test (partial) variable Ethics (X1), Employee Training (X2) Able to Influence Employee Performance (Y1) and Service Quality (Y2).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of work experience, professionalism, independence and the application of information technology on auditor performance in improving audit quality at the Indonesian Financial Audit Board Representative of the Republic of Indonesia Riau Province. The sample in this study was the entire population of 76 respondents using the census/questionnaire method and then analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SPSS 26.0 and Smart PLS 3.2.9. The results of the analysis prove (1) Work Experience has no significant effect on Auditor Performance, (2) Professionalism has no significant effect on Auditor Performance, (3) Independence has a significant effect on Auditor Performance, (4) Information Technology Application has a significant effect on Auditor Performance, (5 ) Work Experience has no significant effect on Audit Quality, (6) Professionalism has a significant effect on Audit Quality, (7) Independence has no significant effect on Audit Quality, (8) Information Technology Application has no significant effect on Audit Quality, (9) Auditor Performance has an effect significant impact on Audit Quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image and promotion on decisions by using interest as an intervention variable. The method used in this research is the path analysis method. The sample used is 220 respondents. While the data collection by means of a questionnaire. The results showed that brand image did not have a positive and significant effect on interest. Promotion does not have a positive and significant impact on interest. Interest has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Brand image has a positive and significant influence on decisions. The promotion has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Interest is not able to mediate the effect of brand image on decisions as evidenced by the test results. Interest is not able to mediate the effect of promotion on decisions as evidenced by the test results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the influence of Asset Growth, Asset Structure, Company Size, Business Risk, Non Debt Tax Shield on Capital Structure and Profitability. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling method with a population of 100 companies and a sample of 76 companies and the data analysis techniques used were Descriptive Analysis, Multicollinearity Test, Coefficient of Determination Test, Path Analysis. The Independent Variables are Capital Structure and Profitability. The results of this study indicate that asset growth has no effect on profitability, asset structure has a positive effect on profitability, firm size has a positive effect on profitability, business risk has no effect on profitability, asset growth has a negative effect on capital structure, asset structure has a positive effect on capital structure, size the company has no effect on capital structure, business risk has a positive effect on capital structure, Non Debt Tax Shield has a negative effect on capital structure, profitability has a negative effect on capital structure.

Abstract

One way to define the company's goals is to create a plan, one that cost planning is essential in the operation of the company activity. Preparation, control, until the realization of the budget is an important factor in the control of management. Good management control will be reflected from a sound budget planning from start budgeting to realization in which the control of the use of the budget includes the cost of the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the function of a planning application to the realization of budget costs play an important role in the management control process in order to achieve the goals set previously by the company. The research was conducted by the author at. PT. Indonesian Harbor I (Persero) Pekanbaru located at Saleh Abbas 3 Pekanbaru. The results of this study show that the variance resulting from budget planning to the realization greatly affects the level of management control of the company. In other words, the efficiency of which is determined by the value of variance budget planning process as well as cost control processes that will better demonstrate the value of the level of management control of the company.

Abstract

Teacher performance is the result of work in quality and quantity that is achieved by a teacher in carrying out their duties in accordance with their responsibilities, so that teacher performance can be influenced by motivation, discipline, and work culture as well as job satisfaction. This study aims to see whether there is an influence between work motivation, discipline, and work culture with job satisfaction and teacher performance at public junior high schools in Sukajadi district. The population is 95 people and a sample of 77 teachers is obtained from 4 public junior high schools in Sukajadi sub-district. Data analysis techniques include Outer Model and Inner Model as well as Bootstrapping using SmartPLS 3 software. The results show that work motivation has a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction, work motivation also has a positive effect on performance. Then, work discipline has a positive effect on job satisfaction but discipline has no positive effect on teacher performance. And work culture has a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction, it also has a positive effect on teacher performance. While job satisfaction has a positive effect on teacher performance, this can be interpreted that teacher job satisfaction can improve teacher performance.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are businesses that must be controlled by a community group or family. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) SMEs have a strategic role in national economic development because apart from contributing to national economic growth they can also provide a large workforce. The inability to present the accounting and information used is one of the weaknesses of the management side. This study focuses on the effect of accounting information systems on performance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Company performance is the condition of the company which is analyzed using financial analysis tools so that good and bad conditions can be produced that reflect the company's financial performance in a certain period. The population in this study are the owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises spread across the city of Pekanbaru with a total of 1,201 units. The sample of this research is 100 respondents who own Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Sampling uses the convenience sampling technique, a convenience sample is formed when we select elements from a population on the basis of what elements are easily obtained by owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the accounting information system variables affect the performance variables of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Pekanbaru city area.
