Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the mental readiness of handball athletes in the city of Surabaya, both male and female, ahead of PORPROV VII East Java 2022 assessed according to the athlete's perception. Methods: The sample in this study were handball athletes in the city of Surabaya, a total of 28 people consisting of 14 male athletes and 14 female athletes. The instrument used in this study was to collect primary data from questionnaires distributed to Handball Athletes in the City of Surabaya via google form media, wich were then processed using qualitative descriptive methods. Results: Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that in the self-confidence category with 5 people (18%), emotional control / behavior 5 people (18%), concentration 4 people (14%), effort / process 5 people (18%), motivation 9 people (32%). In the mental readiness of the handball athletes in the city of Surabaya, it really contributes to efforts to improve in terms of emotional/behavioral control and concentration of the handball athletes in the city of Surabaya in preparation for PORPROV VII East Java 2022. Conclusions: Based on the summary of the research results and the description of the discussion, there is a strong relationship that the mental readiness of handball athletes in the city of Surabaya ahead of PORPROV East Java 2022, which must be improved, namely in concentration and an increase in athlete motivation to improve mental performance.

Abstract

Background: Muaythai is a martial art originating from Thailand, muaythai was first known in Indonesia in 2013 with a parent organization called the Indonesian Muaythai Executive Board (PBMI). In the Muaythai sport, there are various categories that are competed, namely the category of fighting (fight) and the arts (Wai Khru). Muay Thai is a tactic and sport that is a cultural heritage of Thai-style martial arts that has been passed down from ancestors for a long time as a weapon to protect the land from other countries. and women at the XX PON in Papua, so that the results of the research can be used as evaluation material for coaches and athletes in developing and improving athlete achievement. Methods: The research method is used to achieve or not a research. In this study using a qualitative research type, the source of data taken for this research sample amounted to 19 athletes consisting of 11 male athletes and 8 female athletes in the Wai Khru class. Results: Muhammad Uchida from DKI Jakarta, Muhammad Zull Alidja from Papua won 2nd place and joint 3rd place was won by Abdul Rozak from South Kalimantan and Aldento Brilliana Bara from East Java. And the winner in the women's Wai Khru class won 1st place by Tiara Laili.K.M from Papua, 2nd place went to Luh Mas Sri.D.W from Bali, and joint 3rd place went to Nadia Indah.R from South Sulawesi and Novita Anggi Ayuni from Bengkulu. In this Wai Khru class competition, the assessments taken include the neatness and beauty of the costume (dress), the beauty of the basic movement (basic performance smooth), the beauty of the movement accompanied by music (each performance follow thru music and smooth), flexibility and strength (flexibility and strength). strong), and the duration of time (time) with the duration of the demonstration not more than 5 minutes. Conclusions: Based on the above research, it can be concluded that the Muaythai sport originated from Thailand which later developed in Indonesia under the PBMI federation (Indonesian Muaythai Executive Board), Muaythai consists of two categories, namely the Tanding category and the Wai Khru Arts category. In this article, research is conducted on the evaluation results of the Wai Khru class Muaythai sports competition at the XX PON 2021 in Papua, which amounted to 19 male and female athletes from a total of 129 athletes, there were four athletes who won the title in each category starting from the matches in the male and female Wai Khru classes are taken based on the assessment of each match judge and all results are collected to find the best score or score.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the effect of skipping exercise on kick speed in karate at SMAN 1 SOOKO. Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive research using statistics from two variables, namely: Skipping Exercise and Kick Speed. The population in this study was 25 people of karate athletes at SMAN 1 SOOKO (15 boys and 10 girls). Theproportional sampling technique because the researcher got advice from the coach with a sample of 14 people consisting of 7 male and 7 female karate athletes at SMAN 1 SOOKO. Results: Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of skipping exercise on kick speed) in karate at SMAN 1 SOOKO (Mean = 141.50). Conclusions: Based on the results of the research and discussion in the description above, it can be concluded that there is an effect of skipping exercise on the speed of the athletes of SMAN 1 SOOKO X.1, X.2 and Y.1, Y.2 results (Mean = 141.50 and 40.0 ). Researchers recommend doing skipping exercises for 2 meetings/week to increase athlete's strength.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the effect of abdominal muscle strength and arm muscles on shooting in Bojonegoro handball athletes. Methods: In this research the method used is descriptive quantitative. To find out the results of this shooting, it was measured using a standing shoot test instrument, while the abdominal muscles and arm muscles used sit-up and push-up instruments. Results: The results of this study indicate that handball shooting is influenced by many aspects, one of which is the strength of the arm muscles and abdominal muscles. Conclusions: Individually, arm muscle strength has the greatest influence on shooting variables performed in handball. In conclusion, the variable strength of the arm muscles and abdominal muscles greatly influences the shooting variable that is carried out in handball sports individually or together.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to measure the level of speed, agility, and aerobic endurance of floorball in Surabaya. Methods: This type of quantitative descriptive research was used, with data collection techniques in the form of a 30-meter running speed test, flexibility test, aerobic endurance test which later calculated the mean, percentage of the tests that had been carried out by athletes. The sample was determined as many as 15 male athletes with the research time on March 30-31 2022 at Gor Bima, State University of Surabaya. Conclusions: The conclusion that can be drawn from the tests conducted on 15 floorball is that an average score of 84.79% was found in the overall test athletes, namely 30 meter running, bent knee sit-ups, push ups, and MFT.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the effect of small sided games training on passing accuracy at La Brava Futsal Club Methods: This research uses descriptive quantitative research method T-test analysis method with two variables, namely: Small sided games practice and passing accuracy. The population in this study was the La Brava Futsal Club team, which consisted of 25 men. The sample uses proportional sampling technique because the researcher gets advice from the coach with a sample of 10 athletes who meet the criteria Results: The results of this study can be concluded that there are significant data in the pre test and post test with a mean of 7,700 and 7,500. And in the error man shows a significant pre-test 0.54 and post-test 0.48. Conclusions: The results of this study can be concluded that there are significant data in the pre test and post test with a mean of 7,700 and 7,500. And in the error man shows a significant pre-test 0.54 and post-test 0.48. As a result, it was found that the small field game training method for the accuracy of the operands of the training program needed to be further improved. Therefore, this research is expected to help coaches improve the accuracy of their passes.

Abstract

Background: to find out the techniques that are often used in supporting the winning factor for the competition in the pencak silat sport category. Methods: The method in this study uses a descriptive non-experimental design. Data collection using video analysis via the internet sourced from YouTube, by being analyzed by five people and conducting video validation and data validation. Results: The results showed that the first video resulted in dominant kicks with a total of 12 kicks, the second video with a total of 6 kicks, the third video received a total of 11 kicks and in the fourth video a total of 8 kicks were obtained. Conclusions: Sport is a good physical exercise to maintain health and improve physical fitness. Physical fitness is the body's ability to carry out daily activities without feeling fatigue. Physical fitness is a mandatory requirement that must be possessed by an athlete as the initial foundation in achieving an achievement. From the results of these data, it can be concluded that the technique that is often used by athletes and is a determining factor in the victory of athletes in the pencak silat sport category for international championships for different classes for adults is kicks.

Abstract

Background: Basic technique is a skill and a person's ability to move effectively with one goal. The success of carrying out these basic techniques can be seen in the match between the Indonesian Women's Futsal National Team against Macau in the AFC Women's Futsal Championship Cup in Thailand in 2018. The purpose of the research based on this background is to find out (1) Describe the basic playing techniques used in the AFC Women's Futsal Cup match. Championship in 2018 (2) Describes the number of basic techniques used in percent. Methods: By using this type of quantitative research descriptive method, Results: The research results were found as follows: there were four basic techniques used by the Women's National Futsal Team in the 2018 AFC Women's Championship trophy during the match, namely passing, dribbling, shooting, and control Conclusions: The most widely used basic technique is control as much as 41%, passing and dribbling techniques have a fairly thin difference as much as 4% with 28% passing and 24% dribbling. While the basic shooting technique used at least 7%. The details of the basic techniques when viewed in terms of numbers are 1) Passing as many as 371 with 329 inner passes and 42 outer passes. 2) 319 dribbling with 148 first and 171 second. 3) Shooting 93 with 63 live balls and 30 dead balls. 4) Control 540 with the first 281 and 259 second.

Abstract

Background: The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of the 2019 class of sports science students towards Indonesian traditional sports. Methods: This type of research uses quantitative descriptive, using survey methods and the way the data is collected the researchers use google form media to assist students in filling out questionnaires. Results: Students' knowledge of traditional Indonesian sports is in the high category. Conclusions: Based on the results of the research that has been carried out and the results of the discussion above, the following conclusions can be put forward: Students of Sports Science class 2019 against Indonesian traditional sports in the category of knowledge distribution: very high at 3%, high category at 38%, moderate category at 32 %, the low category is 15%, the very low category is 12%. Student of Sports Science class of 2019. In this study it can also be concluded that his understanding of traditional Indonesian sports is in the high category with a percentage of 38%. And very high at 3%.

Abstract

Background: : The purpose of this study was to socialize and exercise the community and to determine the effect of mixed aerobic exercise on increasing the physical fitness of the people of West Morkolak Hamlet, Kramat Village, Bangkalan District. Methods: This study includes a pre-experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects were 31 people who were given mixed aerobic exercise treatment and their physical fitness was measured before and after being treated with the Multistage Fitness Test. The pre-test and post-test data were analyzed using paired t-test. Results: The results showed that there was a significant effect on the provision of mixed aerobic exercise on the physical fitness of the people of West Morkolak Hamlet, Kramat Village, Bangkalan District (sig <0.05) and an increase in physical fitness from 24.606 to 27.513. Conclusions: So, it can be concluded that mixed aerobic exercise can provide an effective and significant influence on the women of the West Morkolak community, Bangkalan Regency.
