Abstract

The study aims at (1) designing the development of SPK (Decision Support System) of studens’ talent interests with web basis, (2) determining studens majors based on talents and interests, (3) designing the easier application, research population was the students of SMP who where about to graduate of students of SMK who were just accepted in the school. The SPK being built can determine the majors, learning styles, and personality of students based on the answers being questioned. Data colleting techniques used in this study were interview, literature review, and questionnaire. Data processing instruments of the study were structural equation modeling, black box testing, alpha, and beta testing. The results of the study reveal that the SPK of talents and interests with web basis can be designed and easier for the students in determining the majors at SMK because the SPK made had been tested fuctionality with very feasible category with the ttal percentage of 100%. Based on the usability test, this SPK is categorized as very good with the percentage of 100%. Based on the usability test, this SPK is categorized as very good with the percentage of 89.63%. Based on the result of SEM test by including various factors which were considered as influencing the saticfaction of SPK users, it is concluded that the factors of system quality, information quality, and interation quality influence the satisfaction of SPK users; wheres, the service quality has no influence of satisfaction to SPK users Keyword — decision support systems, majors in SMK, web applications, structural equation modeling.

Abstract

PT. SRI is a motorcycle tire manufacturer whose production machine is Bias Cutter. This machine serves to cut tire cord with a certain size transversely using a cutter carrier. The machine has a problem with bumps and over cutting due to the acceleration and brake functions of the cutter driving motor not working properly. This problem makes it difficult to reduce the cycle time of this machine in order to increase daily productivity. Modifications were made by replacing the motor that previously used a single-phase induction motor into a servo motor as a cutter carrier driver and adding a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as a pulse generator which has a special role in adjusting the linear position, speed, and braking of the servo motor. This modification contributes to reducing the cycle time of the cutting process from 3.8 seconds to 3.0 seconds and increasing the production capability of tire cord from 20,432 pcs/day to 24,899 pcs/day.

Abstract

Saat ini, konsumsi energi listrik semakin hari semakin meningkat khususnya dalam penggunaan AC baik di kantor, sekolah atau di kampus. Daya AC yang paling rendah saat ini pun masih menyerap daya minimal sebesar 320 watt, apalagi dengan kelalaian manusia yang tidak mematikan AC ketika sudah tidak digunakan, yang dapat mengakibatkan konsumsi AC semakin besar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti ingin menawarkan solusi untuk dapat memonitor dan mengendalikan AC dari jarak dekat dan jarak jauh melalui jaringan. Sistem ini menggunakan Raspberry Pi sebagai tempat untuk menyimpan webserver Node-RED, dan smartphone atau komputer sebagai perangkat penyedia user interface. Hardware yang dibangun terdiri dari ESP8266 yang dilengkapi dengan penerima infrared untuk membaca kode dari remote AC, pemancar infrared untuk mengirimkan kode ke AC. Tampilan pengguna yang dihasilkan berupa halaman web yang menyediakan tombol-tombol untuk mengontrol AC, informasi status AC, dan informasi suhu ruangan. Hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa perangkat ini dapat bekerja dengan baik antara lain (1) dapat mengendalikan AC melalui penekanan tombol pada web Node-Red dengan jarak antara perangkat ini ke AC maksimal 6 meter, (2) dapat membaca kode dari remote dan hasil pembacaan kode tersebut ditampilkan pada web Node-Red, (3) Jarak maksimal web Node-RED dapat membaca kode dari remote adalah 6 meter.

Abstract

Fiber To The Home (FTTH) adalah sebuah teknologi yang memanfaatkan kabel serat optik sebagai media penghantarnya. Dalam pengaplikasiannya sering terjadi kerusakan berupa putusnya kabel drop core yang menghubungkan ODP dengan pelanggan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dibutuhkan penyambungan pada kabel drop core menggunakan fusion splicer. Dalam proses penyambungan inilah terjadi rugi-rugi sambungan yang akan mempengaruhi performansi jaringan optik. Adapun pada penelitian ini dilakukan beberapa penyambungan dengan panjang kabel yang berbeda yaitu, 10 m, 15 m dan 20 m. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa tabel kerugian tiap penyambungan yaitu antara 0,01 dan 0,02. Hal ini tentunya mempengaruhi redaman total yang sampai di sisi pelanggan. Dari hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat dianalisis bahwa rugi-rugi sambungan sangat berpengaruh terhadap nilai redaman total yang dapat mempengaruhi performansi jaringan optik.

Abstract

   Potato plants have great potential as a source of carbohydrates for human needs. Potato yields are very influential in meeting food needs, so a system that is able to predict the amount of potato production is needed in order to be able to meet the production of potato harvests every year as a material for consideration and recommendations for the amount of potato production each year so that the need for the next market demand can be met. In addition, farmers can determine the amount of land area for planting potato vegetables. This study aims to implement the double exponential smoothing method in a decision support system for predicting potato crop yields, using this technique to help potato farmers/managers in recording crop yields per month and every year. Harvest data from the previous 6 years is used as training data, to find predictive data for the following year's harvest. From the results of the study, the best alpha value used to predict was 0.5 with an accuracy of 82.9%.

Abstract

Sistem keamanan pada loker yang dibuat pada penelitian ini dapat membuka serta mengunci pintu loker secara digital dengan kendali melalui aplikasi Android. Aplikasi Android terhubung dengan NodeMCU ESP32 melalui Firebase dan jaringan internet. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan terhadap Sistem Keamanan pada Loker Berbasis Internet of Things ini, didapatkan sistem berhasil membuka dan mengunci pintu loker menggunakan solenoid door lock melalui aplikasi Android yang diamankan dengan 4 digit PIN dengan jarak akses 15 meter, serta berhasil mengirim notifikasi pada aplikasi dengan rata-rata jeda waktu 23,52 detik dan mengaktifkan buzzer dengan rata-rata jeda waktu 20,76 detik.

Abstract

Making dashboards has many functions from various aspects, one aspect that utilizes the use of the dashboard is in terms of education. In terms of education, the dashboard can be used as a forum for meeting the needs of higher education accreditation. UIN Alauddin Makassar, especially in the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, is a study program which in its accreditation implementation involves BAN-PT as an assessor of study program achievements. This study aims to create a web-based dashboard that can facilitate the collection of information and data for the 9 criteria for the accreditation process of study programs. The method used in this research is the prototype method, which consists of stages (1) listening to customers, (2) building and improving prototypes, and (3) testing prototypes. The result to be obtained as an output in this research is an information system in the form of a dashboard that can facilitate monitoring of accreditation data for 9 (nine) criteria.

Abstract

Perpustakaan sekolah harus dikelola dengan baik agar dapat memberi pelayanan yang baik kepada anggota dan petugas perpustakaan, maka dibuatlah sistem pencarian kode buku berbasis web. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun aplikasi pencarian kode buku berbasis web menggunakan algoritma Bi-Linear Search. Bi-Linear Search bekerja pada daftar elemen yang diurutkan dan tidak diurutkan, pencarian menyebar di kedua ujung daftar item. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa hasil pencarian kode buku di data bagian akhir list menunjukkan bahwa metode Bi-Linear Search memiliki selisih waktu yang lebih baik dan signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode Sequential Search. Sedangkan pada pencarian data di awal dan di tengah list tidak ada perbedaan signifikan.

Abstract

Stress is the body's response to stressors. One way to detect whether someone is experiencing stress is by using electronic devices. The purpose of this study is to design and evaluate the performance of stress detection systems in humans using the Internet of Things (IoT)-based Fuzzy Logic Method. The Fuzzy logic implemented in this system applies the Fuzzy Mamdani Rule with three input parameters sourced from the Galvanic Skin Response Sensor, Ear Clip Heart Rate Sensor and LM35DZ Sensor. In addition, this stress detection system utilizes two types of microcontrollers, i.e. Arduino Nano and Arduino Wemos. The output of this stress detection system is displayed on the liquid crystal display and can be accessed on android applications, providing easy access remotely and showing stress levels in a wider range. Based on the performance evaluation of the stress detection system when calibrated using Matlab Software, the obtained average error and accuracy rate are 7.5% and 92.5% respectively. Thus, this stress detection system has good accuracy and performance. Keyword — Mamdani Fuzzy Logic; Internet of Things; Microcontroller, Sensors, Stress.
