Abstract

Structure is the way something is arranged and built with a certain pattern. The structure in a science and theory is an important part, explaining how a science and theory is built. Structure plays a role in clarifying the boundaries of concepts in a science. Reviewing Guidance and Counseling from science through the structure means classifying the scientific concepts of Guidance and Counseling based on structural aspects, namely, objects, statements, propositions, main characteristics and systematics. Reviewing the theory of Guidance and Counseling can be done by analyzing the five aspects of the structure in various counseling approaches and techniques. Research as a way to develop science and theory must also have a complete structure so that the research results have a clear and systematic concept

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of learning styles of 8th grade students of SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah for the 2019/2020 academic year. The purpose of this study was to find out how the profile of learning styles used by full day school students in 8th grade of SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a population of 95 students in class VII SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah which was then narrowed down again using the slovin formula so as to obtain a total sample of 77 students. The data collection method used a learning style questionnaire made by Andriyana Sugiyanto, S.Pd with a reliability level of 0.918. The results showed that the 8th grade students of SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah who had a visual learning style were 31,2%, while students with an auditory learning style were 62,3% and 6,5% students had a kinesthetic learning style.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting and antisocial attitudes of students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with the type of correlational research. The population in this study was class VIII students at SMP Negeri 12 Kota Serang with 144 subjects out of 226 students. This research uses random sampling technique in determining the sample. The data collection method in this study used a parenting and antisocial scale that had been validated by expert lecturers and processed the data using SPSS for windows 24.0 series. It is known to have the results of a simple correlation analysis (r) it is found that the correlation between the relationship between parenting and antisocial parenting is -0.228 with a significance of 0.006 <0.05. This shows that there is a relationship between parenting and antisocial parenting. While the direction of the relationship is negative because the r value is negative, which can be seen from the Pearson correlations, which is negative, meaning the higher the influence of parenting, the lower the level of antisocial attitudes experienced by students. The value of determination (R square) of 0.052 can be interpreted that social support provides an effective contribution of 5.2% towards antisocial attitudes, meaning that there are still 94.8% caused by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The purposes of the study are 1) to find out the dormitory programs for students of UNIRES, 2) to examine the peer relationship of UNIRES students, 3) to identify the parental support of UNIRES students, 4) to explain the morals of UNIRES students, 5) to find out the effect of the dormitory program, peer relationship, and parental support on the morals of UNIRES students. This type of research applied a quantitative multiple regression model approach. The population consisted of male and female residents with a total of 200 UNIRES UMY students. Samples were taken by 20% of the population or about 40 residents consisting of 16 males and 24 females. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews. After the data was obtained, it was analysed using the multiple regression test. The results obtained from the study showed that there is a positive and significant effect of actively participating in the dormitory program, the quality of peer relationship, and the parental support on the morals of UNIRES UMY students, indicated by the magnitude of the correlation (R) in the amount of 0.777 from which the coefficient of determination was obtained (R square) in the amount of 0.604 or equal to 60.4%.

Abstract

Adolescence is a determinant of an individual to step into the next stage of life, as this can affect the level of leadership. This study aims to (1) analyze the emotional intelligence of students of Madrasah Aliyah Muwahidun, (2) analyze the social intelligence of students of Madrasah Aliyah Muwahidun, and (3) analyze the leadership attitudes of students of Madrasah Aliyah Muwahidun, (4) analyze the effect of emotional and social intelligence on students' leadership attitudes of Madrasah Aliyah Muwahidun. This research used a quantitative approach and a population study. The population of the research was 61 students without a sample. The use of the SPSS 25.0 for windows application illustratespositive results. It means, there is an effect of emotional and social intelligence on the leadership attitude of class XI students of Madrasah Aliyah Muwahidun Pati with multiple linear regression tests which obtained a value of 0.00 < 0.005. This indicates that the effect is very significant and a determination value obtained is (R Square) 62.1%.
