Abstract

Traditional shrimp farming in Indonesia is still dominant aquaculture and the one of large contributions in fisheries sector, namely provinces from Kalimantan, Java, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Sumatera, and Sulawesi. Pond farmers still maintain the old ways of managing their shrimp farming however some regions is found to apply sustainable shrimp farming with eco-friendly farm. In order to achieve sustainable income, the pond productivity is mainly calculated however pond productivities of those regions are not always correlated to the wider pond area and larger production. The objective of study is to explore traditional pond performance and its productivities in several provinces in Indonesia. The result shows that the shrimp farming are applying traditional method in pond management, water and soil quality is influenced by around the environment, the wide pond size/extensive pond, the opened pond, irregular pond shape, without feeds, built in the coastal areas and deltas as the brackish water pond, and harvest period after 4-6 months of cultivation. Seven provinces (South Sulawesi, West Java, East Java, Center Java, NTB, Southeast Sulawesi, and East Kalimantan provinces) in Indonesia contribute approximately 91% of total traditional shrimp farming production in Indonesia. Province with the second largest pond area in Indonesia is South Sulawesi province after North Kalimantan, however West Java is the biggest income of them compared, approximately IDR13.5 trillion. Government policy should facilitate improving environmental quality and sustainability in ponds in those regions.

Abstract

The Sindang Wangi Farmer Group is one of the farmer groups in Wanakerta village that cultivates agriculture and animal husbandry in Kp. Babakan Kandang RT 04 RW 016. One of the farms and livestock in Wanakerta village is a citronella distillery and laying hens farm. The two businesses produce waste that can be recycled, namely hydrosol and organic fertilizer. This research was conducted to determine the potential of implementing an integrated farming system in citronella refining businesses and laying hens farms. By implementing the integrated farming system, the costs incurred by the citronella refining are Rp. 30,960,000 to Rp. 30,468,000. on laying hens farms costs Rp. 120,901,200 to Rp. 120,264,156. then for refining citronella it saves Rp. 492,000 while laying hens save Rp.637,044 per year.

Abstract

Linggasirna Village is one of the villages located in Sariwangi District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Based on observations, in Linggasirna Village there is no standard system to manage and store village archives, so archive security is not maintained and causes problems searching for archives if at any time needed. Therefore, research was conducted on how to design a web-based village archive information system with the Waterfall method. Based on these methods, research is carried out in stages starting from observation, analysis of system needs. Then, process design, and user interface design to be able to produce a web-based village archive information system design in Linggasirna Tasikmalaya Village. The results of the system design include inputting archive data, uploading archive files into digital data, disposition is carried out computerized, displaying all archives and displaying archive reports according to the required period.

Abstract

Cipasung College of Technology is a private university, founded in 1997 located in Tasikmalaya Regency. So far, the Cipasung High School of Technology has not known the effect of the quality of academic services that have been provided to students. Therefore, a research was conducted on the effect of academic service quality on student satisfaction at the Cipasung High School of Technology, Industrial Engineering Study Program. This study was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Based on the results of the simultaneous multiple linear regression test, it was found that the Quality of Academic Services consisting of Tangibles (physical evidence), Reliability (Reliability), Responsiveness (Responsiveness), Assurance (Assurance), and Empathy (empathy) together has a significant effect on student satisfaction (Y). Partially only the Empathy Variable (X₅) has a significant effect on student satisfaction. while service quality variables such as Tangibles (physical evidence), Realiability (reliability), Responsiveness (responsiveness) and Assurance (guarantee) do not have a significant effect on student satisfaction.

Abstract

The increase in population in Tasikmalaya Regency, especially in Singaparna District was followed by an increase in the amount of waste produced. During the research activities, the Tasikmalaya Regency Environmental Service had a problem, namely the garbage transportation route was not optimal because the garbage transport route from the Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) to the Final Disposal Site (TPA) had several routes with vehicles carrying waste that exceeded the vehicle capacity. The method used to overcome this problem uses the Clarke and Wright Saving Algorithm. The results of calculations using the Clarke and Wright Saving Algorithm show that the total distance saved for all vehicles is 69.64 Km per week and the fuel costs saved are Rp. 44,830.74 per week. The results obtained show that routes created using the Clarke and Wright Saving Algorithm produce routes and fuel costs for transporting waste that are minimum than the existing routes.
