Kalangwan Jurnal Pendidikan Agama, Bahasa dan Sastra merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memiliki misi memperluas kajian bidang bahasa dan sastra daerah sebagai referensi dalam mewujudkan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra daerah sebagai bagian dari kekayaan budaya lokal Nusantara. Penguatan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra daerah penting untuk dioptimalkan, tidak hanya di lingkungan keluarga maupun pendidikan formal saja, tetapi juga melalui kajian-kajian ilmiah hasil penelitian maupun hasil pemikiran yang mengacu pada kaidah-kaidah ilmiah. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjadikan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra daerah sebagai landasan dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang bermartabat, cerdas, humanis dan berwawasan multikultural.

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the natural semantic metalanguage of Balinese verbs in the agricultural domain in Karangasem District. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The location of this research is in the village of Bugbug which is one of the villages that has a large agricultural land in Karangasem District. The informant determination technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection used is observation, interview techniques, and documentation. The stages of data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation and concluding drawings. The results showed that there are 4 categories of Balinese verbs used in agriculture, namely; 1) verbs in the land preparation category, that is, there are 11 Balinese verbs, 2) the nursery and planting category verbs, there are 6 Balinese verbs, 3) the maintenance category verbs are 11 Balinese verbs, 4) the harvest category verbs are 9 Balinese verbs.]]>

<![CDATA[The results of this study, Nyama Pat plays a very important role in human life from newborn to human death. According to Lontar Panugrahan Dalem Nyama Pat is contained in the teachings of Kanda Empat. The role of Nyama Pat or often called Kanda Empat is very instrumental in human life starting from home and in human life which reads "This is a very important teaching created by Ida Bhatara Dalem, which is called sarining kanda pat without literature. There are so many uses: when placed at home while maintaining the house and the occupants of the house. He can reject all the deeds of evil people. Everything that is harmful does not work to do evil. Everything that does evil can be rejected. After all, if you can learn to master this knowledge, it can become the essence of all mantras and reach Nirvana. When to purify oneself is achieved. When reverence for him is made a place of worship, because it can provide supernatural powers that cannot be defeated by all spells. Mantras that come from a hundred saucy lontar are defeated by the words of one saucy, said a hundred saucy lontars are defeated by one form of offering banten. One hundred varieties of Banten are subdued by one dulang sasaji.” The contents of the Panugrahan Bhatara Dalem ejection which alludes to Nyama Pat playing a very important role in human life can be used for anything in everyday life as protection and cannot be defeated by anyone, which is of course as far as humans know or To carry out these teachings, of course, by making worship so that humans can worship every day or every time needed. That is the main thing so that the teachings are not abused or disseminated to people who have no intention of knowing the teachings of Nyama Pat. <![CDATA[Karya sastra Bali modern adalah sebuah karya yang tidak lain dengan sastra Indonesia. Tetapi, dalam karya sastra bali modren menggunakan Bahasa Bali. Dalam penggunan Bahasa Bali pengarang menggunakan bahasa yang terkesan romantis, kritis, mistis. Setiap penulis memiliki gaya penulisan sesuai dengan kemampuanya. Dalam cerpen kekupu putih menggunakan dua bahasa sehingga dapat menammbah kesan yang romantis. Alur ceritanya menggunakan alur cerita yang mistis. Sehingga menjadikan sebuah hal yang patut untuk ditelisik lebih jauh dalam artikel ini. Namun, disetiap karya sastra yang sedang berkembang patut untuk ditelisik serta di kaji baik secara intriksi dan ekstrinsik serta hal-hal apa yang kita dapatkan ketika membaca suatu karya sastra. Dalam hal ini saya menemukan hal yang unik itu tentang cara penolakan akan hal mistis yang dihadapi oleh tokoh utama. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the moderating value contained in Geguritan Dharma Sunyata. The data in this study were collected using document study techniques. Furthermore, it is analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the value of religious moderation contained in Geguritan Dharma Sunyata was based on the teachings of Tat Twam Asi and Tri Kaya Parisudha. Tat Twam Asi's teachings are the basis of Hindu ethics in an effort to achieve moral improvement. Tat Twam Asi is a teaching that states the similarities between individuals so that it gives birth to the concept of compassion for all creatures in the world. Religious people should respect and appreciate each other even though they adhere to different religions.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract The war of Puputan Badung was one of the Balinese’s heroic stories in defending the unity of state. The war of Puputan Badung had born I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung as the leader in war against Dutch. Besides as the king and the leader of war, he was also the poet who had written many literary works such geguritan and kakawin. Although he had been pressured by Dutchman, he was able to think creatively in writing his works. Based on his loyalty and dedication, this paper will identify his actualization as the king, the poet, and the leader of war which were described in the literary works. His characters were described in geguritan Bhuwana Winasa written by Ida Pedanda Ngurah and geguritan Puputan Badung (Bandana Pralaya) written by A.A Alit Konta. In this paper, the analysis will focus on the physical, the social, and the psychological aspects of I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung in geguritan Bhuwana Winasa and geguritan Puputan Badung.]]>

<![CDATA[In the last decade, there has been an increasing debate about teachings related to women, especially Islam. Many began to question religious teachings that seemed gender biased. In some ways that seem to discredit women. Islam, which normatively teaches the equality of men and women, cannot be separated from the understanding of gender bias. However, the terms and concepts of gender are not widely understood by the public. Stereotypes of women who are presented in society as weak, do not have intelligence, and tend to be passive. In this novel, Allina Suhita describes the character of a pious woman in Alina Suhita. Suhita is a great woman who can put herself into a wife, daughter-in-law, and daughter. The novel teaches us to be strong women and not only that us as women depend on a man. Even in the novel, they still adhere to the old patriarchal teachings, such as the old teachings, women are still considered weak and bringers of disaster. But with the presence of Alina Suhita, she will change all these untrue principles to make women equal to men.]]>

<![CDATA[The content of moral values in literary works, especially in star novels in which there are teachings for students at school. The purpose of this study was to describe the moral values of the novel Bintang, and the relationship between the moral values of the novel Bintang and character education in adolescents. This research uses descriptive and qualitative research methods. The data source in this research is the novel Bintang by Tere Liye. The data is in the form of sentences and words that contain moral values. Data collection techniques were carried out by reading, note-taking, and interpreting techniques. The subject of this research is the researcher himself. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative technique. The results of the research, Tere Liye's Bintang Novel with the theme of friendship in adventure teaches mutual trust and cooperation, the moral values found in Bintang's novel are related to the relationship between humans and God, humans with themselves, and humans with other humans in the social sphere.]]>

<![CDATA[Dongeng Ande-Ande Lumut menceritakan tentang pangeran Kusumayuda yang bertemu dengan klenthing kuning si bungsu dari empat bersaudara, anak seorang janda yang tinggal disalah satu desa bawahan ayah pangeran Kusumayuda memerintah. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai karakter dalam cerita Ande-Ande Lumut. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perwatakan dan penokohan cerita rakyat Ande-Ande Lumut. Penelitian ini diharapkan untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang nilai karakter karena merupakan suatu perilaku atau sikap yang terpaku pada norma yang telah berlaku di masyarakat, dan mencakup segala aspek sosial dan lingkungan , kepribadian dan spiritual. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitataif dan juga menggunakan penelitian structural. Sedangkan pengumpulan data pada pada penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan analisi data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai karakter yang terdapat pada dongeng Ande-Ande Lumut mencakup aspek sosial dan lingkungan, aspek spiritual serta aspek kepribadian. Ketiga aspek tersebut dapat diteladani seseorang dan patut diterapkan dikehidupan sehari-hari sehingga dongeng ini dapat dijadikan sumber bacaan atau materi pembelajaran oleh guru kepada murid sehingga murid dapat berkarakter sesuai dengan budaya bangsa Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[Character education in Indonesia is continuously echoed especially in the midst of the current digital era. Every religion will certainly form a good and moral character for its people, and Buddhism is no exception. This research tries to review this. Character education in Buddhism is closely related to the Ariya Aṭṭhaṅgika Magga/Noble Eightfold Path, where there is a core character that is intended as a Buddhist. Character education in Buddhism is emphasized on the mind. First it starts with controlling the mind, then proceeds with the speech and actions of the body. Mind control is done the first time not without reason. This is inseparable because the mind is the forerunner of all actions. So the good or bad character that appears in a person, must start from his mind. In Buddhism there are three roots of evil, namely hatred (dosa), greed (lobha), and delusion (moha), which have the potential to give rise to bad characters. Therefore, the development of giving (dana), maintaining morality (sila), and developing the mind (bhavana) needs to be increased to eradicate the three roots of evil. Character education in Buddhism should be taught repeatedly so that it becomes a good habit and can be passed on to the next generation. Not killing, not stealing, not committing immorality, not lying, not getting drunk or taking drugs, spreading love, and sympathy are some of the behaviors that emerge from Buddhist character education.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam puisi “Gurauan Senja” Karya Wahyuwiji Astuti dengan Puisi “Perjamuan Malam” Karya Joko Pinurbo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif teknik analisis isi. Data penelitian ini berupa teks-teks atau kalimat dalam puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya bahasa yang terdapat pada puisi Gurauan Senja karya Wahyu Wiji Astuti dan juga puisi Perjamuan Malam karya Joko Pinurbo merupakan gaya bahasa asosiasi dan gaya bahasa personifikasi. Kedua puisi tersebut mendeskripsikan kehidupan seseorang. Walaupun sama-sama mendeskripsikan kehidupan seseorang tetapi kedua puisi tersebut memiliki ciri masing-masing.]]>
