Abstract

Community service is one of the pilars of the tri dharma of higher education . One form its realizition is through cooperation between the regional govement and universities in the formation of KKN which is sustainable and provides mutual benefit , symbosis of loadelism . The purpose of this PKM is to improve the moral competence and etiquette of elementary school age children in Telaga Said village through the implementation of an activity program entitled “ Sholeh Children Festival “ FAS ) held by KKN student rom Stai - Jm Tanjung Pura who are directly guided by field supervisiors ( DPL ) One of The competitions in the fas is the Preachers speech . Through this Litlle Preacher’s speech training , it is hoped that it will be able to create generations of faith , Piety good morals and good character with the aim of getting used to speaking in public and interested in exploring the material to be conveyed

Abstract

Community service (PKM) is one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. One form of its realization is through cooperation between the regional government and universities in the form of implementing KKN which is sustainable and mutually beneficial. The purpose of this PKM is to improve children's competence, morals and manners, increase enthusiasm in learning Islamic religion, develop interests and talents and increase the creativity and self-confidence of children in the Old Village through the implementation of an activity program entitled "Children's Festival Saleh” (FAS) which was held by KKN STAI-JM Tanjung Pura students who were directly guided by Field Supervisors (DPL). The implementation of the Sholeh Children's Festival program consists of 3 activities, namely the call to prayer competition, a short letter memorization competition, and a Muslim fashion show competition. The implementation method applied to the pious children's festival program uses debriefing, training, and practice methods. The results of this PKM are that elementary school-age children are more enthusiastic and have basic Islamic knowledge, dare to show talent and increase self-confidence, increase their memorization of short letters, and are enthusiastic in religious activities

Abstract

One of the steps that students can take to increase their sense of concern for the environment is by planting tree seedlings. The planting was carried out in Harapan Maju Village, Sei Lepan Kec. The location selection was based on the location of the KKN STAI-JM Tanjung Pura student service. The activity certainly has a positive impact on the surrounding environment so that the people of Harapan Maju Village, Sei Lepan Kec. can breathe fresh air again. The activity, which was carried out on March 30, 2023, involved Harapan Maju Village Officials and the Farmer Group Association (Gapoktan) as well as Bhabinkamtibmas of Pangkalan Brandan Police Harapan Maju Village by planting mangosteen, avocado, clove and jengkol trees which in total amounted to 2500 tree seedlings. The responsibility for the maintenance of these plants is a shared responsibility between the students and the entire community of Harapan Maju Village, Sei Lepan Sub-district. This activity is expected to increase the awareness of the people of Harapan Maju Village, Sei Lepan Sub-District on the importance of maintaining and preserving trees, especially in Harapan Maju Village, Sei Lepan Sub-District.

Abstract

Based on our research in Beras Basah Village so many housewife is not have a job. So the researchers aim to make flower bouquet entrepreneurship training to increase their income. We use qualitative method, the population is housewife in organitation PKK at Beras Basah village, and the sample of 20 people.This research has a positive impact on their creativity. This can be seen from their enthusiastic attitude in participating in the training. The researcher's recommendation for this activity is to develop it independently and sustainably so that it can grow new UMKM

Abstract

Makmur Village has a very large area of ​​oil palm plantations. The amount of waste generated by the community's oil palm plantations is comparable to the area of ​​the oil palm plantation, especially the waste of sticks from the fronds of the palm trees. There is still a lot of palm oil waste that has not been utilized and is wasted or broken down by burning it. The purpose of this activity is to utilize palm oil waste to become a valuable product. Products from palm sticks are in the form of plates. Utilizers of palm oil waste can produce woven products that have selling value, are creative and innovative, so that they can improve. The results of observations on the use of palm oil stick waste have begun to be processed into plates. However, craftsmen need to increase their understanding in stages of product technology development and marketing development so that palm oil stick waste craftsmen can improve the economy and create jobs.

Abstract

Dishwashing soap is a small business, but has great potential because the need for soap in the community is quite high. The continuous consumption of dishwashing soap every day causes the need to procure soap at a high cost. The basic ingredient for making this soap is the chemical compound surfactant. which has the function of removing dirt and stains on kitchen utensils. The use of liquid dishwashing soap is easier and more effective. The purpose of carrying out entrepreneurial activities is to provide knowledge and training on making liquid dishwashing soap in order to reduce public spending on buying soap as well as to create new business opportunities

Abstract

Pulau Sembilan is a village in the Pangkalan Susu sub-district, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra province, Indonesia. Although it is often regarded as an area that does not have popular tourist attractions, lately, a very interesting tourist spot in North Sumatra to be used as a recreational destination is Pulau Sembilan in Langkat. This enchanting island has a variety of things that are sure to attract the attention of many tourists to visit it. Even though it is not as popular as other island tourist attractions, its existence cannot be ignored. The method of implementing PKM in the Community Service program carried out by STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Langkat Lecturers with the Theme: Socialization of Islamic Financial Literacy and Islamic Bank Contract Products for the Pulau Sembilan Village Community, so that youth and the community have the motivation and interest to develop villages by exploring village potential and mobilizing BUMdes as an effort to empower BUMdes and make villages self-sufficient by running the wheels of the village economy through BUMdes. The results of Community Service Activities (PkM) carried out by lecturers and students have an impact on communities with coverage areas that are rarely reached by Islamic financial institutions. They have a better understanding of Islamic banking contracts and products. They can differentiate between Islamic Banks and Cooperatives. As a result, the public's interest in making transactions at Islamic banks has increased. They will open a Sharia Bank account and apply for working capital financing to increase their business. This PkM recommendation needs to provide more intensive assistance in the process of working capital financing to the Mountain communities. Besides that, it is also necessary to carry out the PkM program for Sharia Cooperatives to maintain public trust

Abstract

Sasaran Era Society 5.0 yang saat ini digulirkan menjadi tantangan bagi dunia pendidikan karena sangat kental dengan penggunaan teknologi internet. Era dimana semua teknologi tidak lagi sekedar membantu aktivitas sehari-hari manusia dan internet bukan hanya sekedar berbagi informasi, tetapi semua teknologi adalah bagian dari manusia itu sendiri dan internet digunakan untuk menjalankan kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, guru dituntut untuk dapat menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema “Membantu Pembuatan Soal Online Berbasis Google Form” dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Maret 2023 di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Indonesia (YPII) Tanjung Pura. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan/input soal ujian secara online kepada para guru di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Indonesia (YPII) Tanjung Pura. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan penjelasan konsep pembelajaran daring dan aplikasi Google Form. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru mampu membuat/memasukkan soal tes menggunakan Googleform yang kemudian diterapkan pada siswa

Abstract

The management of career development for teachers in the era of the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum in schools faces several challenges. One of these challenges is the increasing demand for complex competencies: The "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum requires teachers to possess broader and deeper competencies, such as pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. This necessitates continuous self-development on the part of teachers to meet these demands. Additionally, there are limitations in terms of access to information and training: Not all teachers have equal access to the necessary information and training required to develop their professional careers. This is particularly true for teachers working in remote areas or those with financial constraints. Furthermore, there is a lack of support and incentives: Support from schools and the government is crucial for teacher career development. However, not all schools provide adequate support in this regard. Moreover, the incentives offered are limited, thereby not sufficiently motivating teachers to pursue their professional careers. The lack of sustainable career development programs is also a concern: Current teacher career development programs are often limited to short training sessions or seminars. However, sustained career development programs would be more effective in helping teachers enhance their teaching quality and advance their professional careers. Additionally, the absence of clear national standards: The absence of clear national standards for teacher career development results in varying policies across different schools and regions. This can lead to disparities in teacher career development throughout the Indonesian regions.
