Abstract

This study aims to describe the 'Hutawabosi' method in reducing learning barriers, especially in facilitating the completion of assignments by students suspected of having special needs in learning during the pandemic. The type of research used is qualitative research in the form of case studies. The research was conducted using direct interviews with research subjects as a form of searching and direct documentation in the field. Researchers also use observation techniques as a way to complete the data that has been found. The research focuses on interventions against learning barriers for students with special needs, especially in learning during the pandemic. The results showed that the "Hutawabosi" method was able to reduce learning barriers and facilitate the completion of assignments by students suspected of having special needs. Evidenced by interviews with subject teachers and reduced complaints about assignments given to students with special needs.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to determine how parents perceive students' virtual account-based services at the Al-Fityan School of Integrated Islamic Elementary School Gowa). The research method is descriptive quantitative with a population of 636 respondents with a sample of 95 respondents using a sampling technique using the probability sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis of percentages and distributions. The results showed that the perceptions of parents of students towards Virtual Account-based services belonged to the category of strongly agree in terms of the simplicity of Virtual Account-based services, clarity, and certainty of procedures/procedures for Virtual Account-based services, security of Virtual Account-based services, the openness of services. Virtual Account-based, efficient Virtual Account-based services, economical Virtual Account-based services, equitable justice in Virtual Account-based services, and timeliness in Virtual Account-based services. To achieve a good perception of Virtual Account-based services, efforts are made to increase customer satisfaction to achieve the goal of excellent service, namely to gain recognition for the quality of service that satisfies customers.

Abstract

One of the lessons in disaster mitigation is awareness of disaster risk reduction using MINUPI media which provides real experiences of students with disabilities about natural disasters, especially erupting volcanoes. The purpose of the study is to improve learning outcomes and the activeness of students with special needs in disaster mitigation learning. The implementation of research in disaster mitigation learning follows the design of a type of classroom action research for 2 cycles, consisting of 4 activities, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The application of disaster mitigation learning with MINUPI Media is carried out in several steps, starting with the planning stage where dividing students into groups, delivering learning objectives, presenting material, giving assignments to groups in the form of worksheets, practicing making MINUPI media and giving evalusai. The results showed that student learning outcomes improved in the time before applying learning with MiNuPi media compared to after media use. The learning results showed that the average class, which was originally 63.75 in the preliminary observation stage, increased to 68.12 in cycle I, and subsequently increased by 81.25 in cycle II. The classical completion, which was originally 25% at the preliminary observation stage, increased to 37.5% in cycle I, and to 100% in cycle II. Student activity increased from 25% at the preliminary observation stage, to 37.5% in cycle I, and to 100% in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the optimization of the application of the online system in the management of correspondence at the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis presented in this study is: data condensation, presenting data and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study indicate that the optimization of the application of the online system in the management of correspondence at the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Makassar is classified as less than optimal based on the following aspects: security which is considered poor has not been proven to be 100% secure; Speed and accuracy are said to be poor looking depending on the internet connection; The accountability of the Gmail spreadsheet letter numbering is said to be poor, seen by employees who are less able to maintain the confidentiality of the letter numbering; the linkage of the letter numbering is said to be good seen from the employees in the two sub-sections who can use it well; the standardization of letter numbering is said to be poor seen from employees who are not careful enough to pay attention to the filling column; Effective and efficient is said to be not good, judging from its use it has not run effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The STEM approach is expected to be able to develop students' abilities in connecting the concepts of physics in fluid materials to flood disaster mitigation efforts. This study aims to: (1) Describe the design, characteristics and validity of e-modules in fluid matter physics and flood mitigation using a STEM approach. (2) Analyzing the effectiveness of the application of the e-module physics of fluid materials and flood mitigation with the STEM approach to improve Students' High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). (3) Knowing the practicality of applying e-module physics of fluid materials and flood mitigation with the STEM approach based on student responses. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The sample for the trial application of the e-module was 30 students of class X SMKN 1 Rejang Lebong who were selected using the Purposive Sampling technique. The e-module is designed using a STEM Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with the stages of reflection, research, discovery, application and communication for students of SMK Technology and Engineering Group. Based on expert validation, the e-module is very feasible to use with an average score percentage of 90.03%. The e-module received a positive response from students of 91.07% or very good. The integrated e-fluid module for flood disaster mitigation can increase students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) with an N gain value of 0.69 medium category. Based on the results of the t-test the application of e-modules in learning provides a very significant correlation to the improvement of student learning outcomes, which is 0.83.
