Journal of Hospitality and Tourism (JHT) is a journal which is published by the Center of Research and Community Service of Politechnics Harapan Bersama Tegal. practitioners and academics, professionals, educators, lecturers and students who are interested in contributing and sharing studies and findings in the field of hospitality and tourism. The focus and scope of articles published in JHT include hospitality, tourism, marketing and consumer behavior, leisure and culture, as well as management. Abstract

Covid-19 has an impact on all sectors, including the tourism sector. The impact of covid-19 is also very influential on culinary businesses or restaurants, because of the limited open schedule and for customers who come or dining are also very limited, this makes most customers prefer to buy food through online applications or make their own dishes at home. It is more healthier and hygienic. Therefore, many culinary businesses suffered losses and went out of business. As happened at The Harber Café and Resto Polytechnic Harapan Bersama, since the covid-19 pandemic, daily income has decreased very drastically, resulting in very large losses from April 2020 until now. This happened for the first time when the Tegal City government imposed the first large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) on April 23, 2020. The methods used included data collection and data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on visitors to The Harber Café and Resto at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic, with a significant decrease in cafe income and the number of cafe visitors as well as a decrease in cafe employee salaries.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is a business that is most in demand by hoteliers in the world. This can be seen from the number of hotel businesses, including the hotel business in the Tegal City which is increasing because the occupancy rate or guest needs are getting higher. However, due to the pandemic, occupancy has dropped drastically. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a promotional strategy through social media after the Covid 19 pandemic to increase occupancy at Riez Palace Hotel Tegal. This study aims to determine which social media promotion strategies are used by Riez Palace Hotel Tegal in promoting their hotels. This research was conducted at Riez Palace Hotel Tegal, and this research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques used were observations, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The results showed that Riez Palace Hotel Tegal uses several social media as a strategy to promote the hotel so that occupancy can increase. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, it is suggested that Riez Palace Hotel Tegal can implement the SO (StrengthsOpportunities) strategy.Keywords: occupancy; promotion strategy: social media

Abstract

Produktivitas dalam arti teknis mengacu pada derajat keefektifan dan efisiensi dalam pemanfaatan berbagai sumber daya. Produktivitas kerja dalam pengertian perilaku merupakan suatu sikap mental yang senantiasa berusaha untuk berkembang. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh fleksibilitas kerja, kedisiplinan, dan etos kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai Politeknik Harapan Bersama. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Politeknik Harapan Bersama sebanyak 254 pegawai antara lain 132 dosen dan 122 tenaga kependidikan tetap maupun kontrak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan menggunakan proporsional sampling yaitu penentuan sampel penelitian dengan proporsi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara connvenience sampling/insidental sampling. Analisis pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda dan persamaan regresi linier berganda adalah Y = 6.265 + 0.220 FK + 0.247 KD + 0.222 EK. Pada perhitungan analisis bahwa diketahui variabel fleksibilitas diperoleh t hitung = 4,495 > t tabel dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,021 < 0,05 maka hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial fleksibilitas kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kinerja, variabel kedisiplinan diperoleh t hitung = 5,620 > t tabel dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kedisiplinan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kinerja, serta variabel etos kerja diperoleh t hitung = 4,289 > t tabel dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial etos kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kinerja.

Abstract

Satay is one of the mainstays of Indonesian cuisine which has more than one type, such as Madura satay, Padang satay, Klatak satay, and other types of satay. One of the satays that is currently in great demand is "Taichan satay" and this is a business opportunity that is quite popular today. Sataytaichan began to grow rapidly since 2016 until now.This study is an experimental study that aims to determine the manufacturing process in taichan satay with tongseng sauce. In this study, Taichan satay is modified with Tongseng sauce. Tongsengis a traditional Indonesian culinary that is processed by roasting spices with soy sauce combined with curry sauce.The cooking method used in this study is roasting the satay and then using the boiled method to make the tongseng sauce. This study used organoleptic test analysis and hypothesis testing and then processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) tools. The results in this study indicate that the results of the significant value of Taste 0.089, Texture 0.673, Color 0.696, Aroma 0.696 are accepted.tools. Abstract

Tribeca Park sebagai salah satu ruang hijau favorit milenial di Jakarta. Adapun tujuan peneliti meneliti daya tarik wisata Tribeca Park yaitu untuk mengetahui persepsi wisatawan milenial terhadap obyek wisata Tribeca Park. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sementara itu sumber data berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuisioner serta studi literatur. Sementara itu jumlah sampel yang digunakan ditentukan menggunakan Rumus Slovin sebanyak 100 sampel.  metode teknik analisis data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah teknik kuantitatif deskriptif. Persepsi wisatawan milenial terhadap daya tarik wisata Tribeca Park mengacu pada something to see dengan prosentase sebesar 84,9 %. Sementara itu something to buy dan something to do masing-masing dengan prosentase sebesar 81,7 % dan 84, 6%.

Abstract

Many factors can influence hotel customer satisfaction, including good service quality, adequate facilities, and reasonable prices. The hotel will serve as a stopover for customers, so those who come to visit will think about these three factors that will affect their satisfaction. As a result, the goal of this research was to determine the impact of service quality, facilities, and pricing at the Swiss-Belinn Bogor hotel. This study employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The participants in this study were all guests at the Swiss-Belinn Bogor hotel. The sample in this study was determined by applying the Slovin formula, which yielded 100 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test was used in this study, along with tools to process data from the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 application. The Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test demonstrates that service quality, facilities, and pricing all have a positive impact on customer satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran wisatawan akan destinasi dan motivasi wisatawan terhadap keputusan berkunjung di Hademen Camp, Megamendung, Kabupaten Bogor. Kesadaran akan destinasi menjadi penting untuk suatu daerah tujuan wisata agar dapat menjadi sukses karena kesadaran tersebut menjadi unsur paling pertama yang wajib dimiliki. Lebih lanjut lagi motivasi juga menjadi penting dalam proses identifikasi hal-hal yang mempengaruhi wisatawan berkaitan dengan pemilihan daerah tujuan untuk berlibur dan berwisata. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 dan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil analisis maka dihasilkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh baik dari kesadaran wisatawan akan destinasi maupun motivasi wisatawan terhadap keputusan berkunjung di Hademen Camp, Megamendung, Kabupaten Bogor secara parsial dan simultan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 50,5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara kesadaran wisatawan akan destinasi (X1) dan motivasi wisatawan (X2) terhadap keputusan berkunjung (Y), sedangkan sisanya sebesar 49,5% dijelaskan sebagai kontribusi variabel lain yang juga berpengaruh selain kesadaran akan destinasi (X1) dan motivasi wisatawan (X2) namun tidak masuk ke dalam penelitian. Kesadaran wisatawan akan destinasi memiliki dimensi gambaran kognitif, gambaran afektif, dan gambaran konatif. Motivasi memiliki dimensi faktor-faktor motivasi pendorong dan faktor-faktor motivasi penarik. Dimensi keputusan berkunjung yaitu pengenalan masalah, pencarian informasi, evaluasi alternatif, dan perilaku pasca kunjungan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran akan destinasi dan motivasi berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap keputusan wisatawan untuk melakukan kunjungan. Hal ini memberikan masukan yang sangat baik dan berguna bagi pihak pengelola Hademen Camp, Megamendung, Kabupaten Bogor dalam selalu meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada dan menjaga kelestarian daerah tujuan wisata. Kata kunci : kesadaran akan destinasi, motivasi, keputusan berkunjung

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Perception of Service Quality Prices and Tourism Facilities on Visitor Satisfaction. The object of this study was Tangkuban Perahu visitors located in Bandung, West Java. The sampling technique in this study is Convenience Sampling. Respondents in this study were 150 respondents using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Smart-PLS analysis tools. The results of the study that have been obtained after testing the Structural Model / Hypothesis Test (Inner Model) show that the perception of the Price Quality of Service Quality and Tourism Facilities affect the Visitor Satisfaction of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung in West Java. Price Perception Variable has positive and significant effect on Tangkuban Perahu Bandung West Java Visitor Satisfaction. The service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung West Java visitors. And Tourism Facility Variables have a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung West Java visitors.Keyword: Price Perception, Service Quality, Tourist Facilities, Visitor Satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan DOT, BAS, dan POSE dalam melakukan promosi pariwisata 8 (delapan) kawasan wisata di Jakarta Pusat diantaranya : Kawasan Pasar Baru dan Kemayoran, Monumen Nasional – Gambir, Tanah Abang, Jalan Jaksa, Senen, Thamrin, Lapangan Banteng dan kawasan menteng . Kagiatan promosi ini dilakukan sebagai upaya meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke 8 kawasan wisata tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang didukung dengan sumber data hasil wawancara, observasi dan juga dokumentasi langsung ke 8 (delapan) kawasan wisata pilihan di Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari.- Juni tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi dari semua unsur DOT, BAS, POSE, sudah dikelola dengan baik sebagai dasar mempromosikan destinasi pilihan di 8 (delapan) kawasan kota Jakarta Pusat, semua pihak berintegrasi demi mencapai tujuan yang sama yaitu membangkitkan salah satu sektor utama yang perlu diperhatikan yakni pariwisata khususnya di wilayah Jakarta Pusat. Upaya mendukung kegiatan promosi wisata di 8 (delapan) kawasan destinasi wisata di jakarta pusat. Saat ini, diperlukannya pengelolaan media sosial yang lebih interaktif dan menarik di masing-masing 8 (delapan) kawasan wisata di Jakarta pusat.Kata kunci : strategi promosi, pariwisata

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cognitive image on the tourist’s decision visit in Sawargiloka Waterland Ciapus. This study was designed with a quantitative approach and accidental sampling as a sampling technique to obtain data by using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. As for testing the effect of the variables studied, the author uses a simple linear analysis technique. From the test results, it was found that the coefficient of determination (R2) is 71.2. Which is shows that there was an influence of tourist facilities and service quality on tourist’s visit decision, while the other 28.8% were variables that were not included in the study. The implication of this research is that the management of Sawargiloka Waterland Ciapus needs to improve the physical aspects so that it can create a good cognitive image for tourists.  Keyword: cognitive image, decision visitation, tourist
