Abstract

This journal discusses the role of law in ensuring that social changes occur in an orderly and orderly manner. social change for the sake of the sustainability of a society in a social environment. The investment permit to set up a company to exploit water in the Baros - Cadasari area is actually contrary to the 1945 Constitution Article 33 Paragraph (3) that the land, water, and natural resources of Indonesia are controlled by the State and are intended as much as possible for the prosperity of the people. This research was conducted using qualitative research, through a normative legal research approach, the data were analyzed prescriptively by taking an in-depth and detailed, and comprehensive approach to explore the research problem. The data used is secondary data, namely literature studies in the form of legislation, books, and scientific articles related to the writing of this journal. The results show that every society is always in a process of change that never ends, or in other words, social change is a symptom inherent in every society. The conflicts that occur over water and land are a series of conflicts with the community that has harmed the Indonesian people a lot, awareness of the conflicts that occur in turn that social change does not always occur gradually, through soft adjustments, but can also occur. in a revolutionary way.

Abstract

Mass media such as television is an effective tool to influence how people think, one of the reason is because it’s familiarity and how easy to access it. Television can be found in almost all households. Therefore as a communication media, it has the ability to accessed public and personal spaces. Television is an advance technology, it delivers messages in audio-visual form. How audiences receive broadcasts from NET.TV which previously air program that is new and fresh, then makes a program called Berbagi Rizki, which adopts existing programs that glorifying poverty such as Bedah Rumah, Uang Kaget, Mikrofon Pelunas Hutang, Orang Pinggiran, and many others. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of in-depth interviews, document study, and observation. The researcher uses the concept of cultural studies and uses the theory of reception analysis. The result of this study, indicate that the majority of interviewees with 4 peoples tend to be in the position of the meaning of the negotiations. The interviewees interpret by negotiating, which means that the audience could accept or not accept the meaning of the message for a specific reason. For some of the reasons, it found that the audience wants programs such as Berbagi Rizki to be present to have more long-term effects and be more creative in terms of packaging of the program without being exaggerated or subtracted.

Abstract

Coal and Steam Power Plant (PLTU) are one source of energy that is capable of producing electrical energy. The amount of profits generated in the management of the coal business was utilized by a handful of people. They are a group of political elites, also known as political oligarchs, who freely enter and control the coal industry and all its policies. These political oligarchs utilize the momentum of the General Election to engage the private sector, obtain financial support and support, and legitimize the status of power through contestation, which provides a destructive force on the ecology and the lives of many people. The production team involved responded to the imbalance of hegemony produced by the political oligarchy through the screening of the documentary film Sexy Killers simultaneously, a week before the election took place. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and phenomenological analysis, which is combined with the theory of hegemony and the symbolic interactionism. The data collection process used is in-depth interviews, documentation and data studies. The results of research from the production process carried out by the production team of the documentary film Sexy Killers are making the film an alternative media that becomes a counter-hegemony by dismantling the depravity of the system carried out by the political oligarchy and how they are involved in the coal mining business and PLTU; as well as being a program for education and criticism of conventional media.

Abstract

Anarchism is a new tool of struggle for society, especially anarcho syndicalist is an alternative form of mass struggle which concentrates on the labor group as the pillar of the liberation teacher and is considered a philosophy of the workers. This is at least evidenced by the Mayday 2019 direct action. The anarchism movement itself is a representation of the political antagonism movement. This journal uses two main theories. First, Cheryl Simrell King & Camila Stivers's theory states that political antagonism is part of the representation of a vehicle for counter-state movements. Second, the theory used is the theory put forward by Mikhail Bakunin regarding the concept of freedom. This study uses qualitative research methods with primary and secondary data.

Abstract

The research subject, Pos Kota Daily, is a print media in West Jakarta. The method used in this research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection process used was direct interview, observation and documentation study. The subject of the research is Pos Kota Daily which is a print media located in West Jakarta. The method used is a case study with the type used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection process used was direct interview, observation and documentation study. The selection of informants is based on the duties, responsibilities and authority of the informants. The theory used is the theory of Media Ecology. The results of the research process of the Pos Kota editorial policy, namely Pos Kota, are consistent with the news content presented, such as the news delivered coming from human interest issues from local to national issues. The non-standard use of the Indonesian language in the contents of the headline and headlines in the appearance is made briefly, clearly and clearly, so that it can be accessed by readers. The scope of news restriction is around law and crime, urban, national, sports, social culture. Providing actual, informative news and the function of media information, aspirations and entertainment have been done by Pos Kota. Changes made by Pos Kota were seen in the logo, paper size and the number of stories reduced to 13 stories and the appearance of caricatures that were considered sweeteners. Based on the three factors in Media Ecology theory, the Pos Kota editors pay attention to content, readerparticipation and advertising revenue as a way to survive facing the Pos Kota newspaper.

Abstract

Fast and quality economic growth can be achieved with the following factors:increase in capital accumulation, and human resources. Today, many countries areadapt to the acceleration of domestic production by utilizing the role oftechnology. This study aims to see the impact of the influence of human capital andthe role of technology on economic growth by taking a theoretical approachneoclassical and new growth . The method used is using panel data from 10ASEAN member countries in the period 1971-2017. The main variables in this studyare human capital and technology, by including other variables such as growthpopulation, capital growth and depreciation as control variables. The results of this studyshows that of all variables show a significant effect oneconomic growth in the ASEAN region, while the feasibility of the model showsthat the new growth model approach is better than the neoclassical model whichshown by the coefficient of determination of 87% in the new growth model and 21% inneoclassical model.

Abstract

This article aims to prove the existence of herding behavior in a number of stock markets in various parts of the world and find out the factors that cause herding behavior. The method used in this article is a research library by taking data from 80 international journals and 4 local journals. The results of our analysis conclude that herding behavior occurs in almost all stock markets in the world. Factors that cause herding behavior include negative news sentiments towards stocks, incentives and career concerns owned by analysts, market risk and firm level uncertainty, market uncertainty, extreme market conditions, periods of high information flow, risk of volatility, analysis of more types of stocks small, economic / financial crisis, declining market conditions, rising interest rates, currency depreciation, poor information environment, and low quality disclosures. The limitation of this article is that the amount of data taken from the results of research in several stock markets is uneven, such as the lack of data retrieval from the stock market on the American continent.

Abstract

Posisiton action system is one of the most effective strategies to fight nepotism, collusion and corruption in government positions. Filling positions in government is closely related to the rights of every person, which is the responsibility of political rights as part of human rights that must be guaranteed and protected by the State. The state should provide equal opportunities to every citizen to fill available positions in the government, including the position of regional secretary which is realized through the filling mechanism. This paper reviews the mechanism for filling middle high leadership positions through a job auction system using the concept of Good Governance which is carried out with a qualitative research approach.

Abstract

This journal discusses geothermal project issues that are reviewed from a legal perspective. In this journal, the theory of development law is used in the sociology of law and social engineering discourse. The case study used in this journal is the construction project of a Geothermal Power Plant in Padarincang, Serang, Banten. Law is considered to be very related to changing society and serves to create public order. However, the case of the Padarincang PLTPB construction contradicts this because it disturbs the ecosystem and allows natural damage to occur. The researcher also reviews the factors of order in development through law.

Abstract

The research that underlies this paper aims to look at changes in adolescent behavior in the village after the proliferation of gadgets and the response of parents to changes in the behavior of these adolescents. The village of Muara Mensao, which is the location of the research, is located in the upper reaches of Jambi and only received an internet signal five years ago. Positive habits were once a part of village youth's life. Afternoon sports, cooperation, and being on the committee for a feast are three examples. Through observations and interviews with local community leaders, parents, and six teenagers, gadgets or gadgets that enter the village following the presence of an internet signal, it is recognized that it has harmed the youth of Muaro Mensao, namely: reduced social bonds and face-to-face contact with fellow teenagers, changes in interest from collective activities become online games, leading teenagers to gamble and negative content on the internet. Parents and the community have taken actions to reduce the negative impact of gadgets by: first, instilling religious values, secondly teaching discipline to their children, and thirdly giving verbal advice and warnings.
