Abstract

The use of ICT as a means of improving service and operational quality has brought a revolutionary changes for library. This was realized by Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong High School, which has not employ information system for the administrative processes in their library. Therefore, in this study the library information system for the Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong High School library was implemented. The implementation of this library information system uses open source software, namely INLISLITE because it is easy to use and is in accordance with government regulation standards regarding libraries. The result obtained in this study is the library information systems has been implemented in the Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong High School IT library. During the implementation process an interview is conducted to gather the requirements specification, then customize the INLISLITE to follow the application specification document. Subsequently, User Acceptance Test and training librarians also collected book data from the library to INLISLITE. The implementation of library information system is in accordance with application specification document. After the library information system implemented, the Al-Auliya High School Library gained several benefits such as the easiness of documents finding and efficient books borrowing and returning in the library.
