Abstract

The problems studied in this research are related to the development of the Genggelang Tourism Village, North Lombok Regency regarding the forms of participation carried out by the community. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach conducted in Genggelang Tourism Village, North Lombok Regency. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation with informants including the Penjor Hamlet Pokdarwis, Kertaraharja Hamlet Pokdarwis, and Gangga Hamlet Pokdarwis. Data analysis uses Miles and Hubermen (1992) where data analysis is carried out interactively and takes place continuously until the data obtained becomes complete. The results of this study indicate that the form of community participation is divided into 4 forms of participation, namely the participation of money, property, labor, and skills. This form of community participation is carried out based on supporting and inhibiting factors in the Genggelang Tourism Village. supporting and inhibiting factors are divided into 3 hamlets. Where each of these hamlets has a tourist destination. So the form of community participation in Genggelang Tourism Village is also divided into each of the related hamlets. The information contained in this paper is expected to be able to assist in increasing community participation in the Genggelang Tourism Village, North Lombok Regency.

Abstract

Lantan is one of the villages located in North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Lantan Village also borders several other villages, namely the north bordering the Protected Forest Area, the south with Aik Darek Village, the west with Karang Sidemen Village and Tanak Beak Village and the east bordering Aik Berik Village, Teraktak Village and Selebung Village. To make Lantan village a tourist village, an initial study is needed to determine its potential. This research is qualitative research, the data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Based on the results of the research that has been done The tourist attraction is Elong Tune Waterfall, besides being able to enjoy Elong Tune waterfall, tourists can also enjoy other supporting facilities at that location including taking pictures, relaxing in the barracks and playing swings. In addition, access to the location is feasible and in good condition. Other facilities in the Lantan tourism village are public toilets and barugak. Finally, ancillary services where in the Lantan tourist village there is a Pokdarwis as the manager of the Lantan tourist village.

Abstract

Lakey tourist attraction is located in Hu'u District, Dompu Regency, this tourist attraction is known as one of the best surfing destinations in Indonesia and even the world. The development of tourism activities in the Lakey beach tourist attraction has provided benefits to the economic improvement of the people on the Lakey coast. This study discusses optimizing the role of the community in managing Lakey Beach tourism objects, Hu'u Village, Hu'u District, Dompu Regency. The results of the study are described in several answers to the problem formulation, namely optimizing the role of the community in managing Lakey Hu'u Beach attractions, Dompu Regency. The results of this study were presented with descriptive methods and SWOT analysis. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Informants are the government, the Pokdarwis, and the community, and collect research evidence in the form of image documentation. The results show that the community tends to be dominated in the implementation stage, where the community plays a role in planning, giving ideas, the role of the community in contributing, the role of the community in the form of energy both in the form of maintaining cleanliness and in the form of maintaining security and comfort

Abstract

One of the villages that has developed the ecotourism concept is Karang Sidemen Village, North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The destinations in Karang Sidemen Village are managed by the Selendang Biru Rinjani Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). This Pokdarwis has been active since 2018. Pokdarwis in its function as a subject or community actor has a role and responsibility to jointly encourage the success of tourism management in Karang Sidemen Village which is now a pilot tourism village. However, the quality of Human Resources services in Karang Sidemen Village is still minimal, especially Pokdarwis as a tourism driver. The purpose of this study is to describe the optimization of the role of Pokdarwis as an effort to manage the ecotourism potential of Karang Sidemen Village. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Qualitative narrative is obtained from field research. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is SOAR analysis. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained are strategies for optimizing the role of Pokdarwis Selendang Biru Rinjani as an effort to manage ecotourism potential in Karang Sidemen Village, including conducting service quality training for Pokdarwis members, collaborating with well-known social media to promote promotions, collaborating to apply seven categories of assessment in ADWI regularly participates in various trainings outside of Pokdarwis, and optimizes Karang Sidemen Village in holding the title of Tourism Village.

Abstract

Bonjeruk tourist village with Nostalgia Tourism Branding develops Cultural and historical Tourism Products, Rural Nature and Culinary which will give an impression to visitors how to live peacefully in the countryside with beautiful natural nuances and noble culture so that they will feel comfortable after all this time busy with the hustle and bustle of life in the area of origin. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation, data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the research conducted, Bonjeruk village ecotourism has a variety of tourism potential that is beautiful and interesting to visit, the potential of ecotourism includes tourists can do English learning activities, enjoy rice fields and enjoy the agricultural products of the local community, one of which is coffee. The next potential is to enjoy the historic buildings of Dutch heritage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the management model of Mount Jae Campground tourist destinations is a support for the economic growth of the people of Sedau Village, West Lombok. The type of research used, namely qualitative research and using a qualitative approach, is qualitative because the data is in the form of information on how the strategy of the Tourism Destination Management Model at Mount Jae Campground as Support for Economic Growth of the Sedau Village Community. Determining informants to interview uses two techniques, purposive and snowball. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model. The model of Mount Jae Lake tourism management is in the following ways: (1) Increase the promotion of tourism objects so that they can be known by many tourists, not only local tourists, but tourists outside the region and abroad. (2) Holding art/cultural activities in welcoming tourists visiting Mount Jae tourist attractions, this method can attract tourists to visit. (3) Improve guide services for visiting tourists. (4) Improve facilities to support tourist activities in tourist destinations.Keywords:  Tourism, Destination, Mount Jae, Village Sedau.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of tourist attractions in the economic development of the village, taking the case at Tanjung Bias Beach, Senteluk Village, Batu Layar District, West Lombok Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The determination of informants in this study used purposive and snowball sampling. The data validity method used is the triangulation method. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that the role of Tanjung Bias Beach tourist attraction is very influential in the economic development of Senteluk Village. There are three roles that help improve the economic development of the village, namely opening business opportunities, increasing community income, and creating jobs.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the potential of urban tourism as a tourist attraction in Gorontalo City. This type of research is qualitative, with data collection methods through observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. In this research, interviews and observations were conducted as primary data, and literature studies and documentation were used as secondary data. The data in this study were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of this study show the potential of urban tourism in Gorntalo City, namely the governor's office, old town area, monument of Gorontalo national hero Nani Wartabone, Gorontalo culinary and culinary center, Gorontalo State University, Gorontalo Mall, Gorontalo central traditional market, city park, Taruna Remaja field, Dulohupa traditional house, Popa Eyato Museum, Tamendao Beach, Mufidah souvenir, Kerawang Shop, Baiturrahim Mosque and Hunto Mosque, Lahilote Swimming Pool and Sport Center, and Otanaha Fort. Furthermore, tourism-supporting components such as road availability and various modes of transportation, Djalaludin Airport, Gorontalo Port, and Dungingi Terminal There are also clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies; banks and money changers; mini markets; police stations to ensure the safety of tourists; and the Gorontalo City tourism office. The development of urban tourism attractions can be realized with the cooperation of all tourism stakeholders, both local government and the private sector.

Abstract

The Malioboro area is an icon of Yogyakarta tourism as well as a cultural heritage and an economic center which makes it always crowded with visitors. The large number of uncontrolled space users makes Malioboro often reported as an inaccessible area for tourists, especially people with disabilities. Even though according to Tourism Act of Indonesia No. 10 2009 states that tourists with special needs have the right to receive services according to their needs. Therefore, research related to accessibility for persons with disabilities in the Malioboro area is needed to find out the fulfilment of the rights of tourists with special needs in the area. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of literature studies, observation and documentation. While data analysis was carried out by comparing the facts found in the field with the theory of accessibility of the urban environment and cultural heritage. The results of the study show that accessibility indicators in the form of parking areas, vertical movement, public hygiene facilities and prices are available. While the indicators for communication, signage and horizontal movement facilities have not met the indicators. Based on these findings, the Malioboro area is accessible for general tourists but not yet fully accessible for persons with disabilities.

Abstract

Tete Batu is one of the Tourism Villages in East Lombok Regency that offers tourist attractions of natural beauty, culture, and local traditions that have developed and are expected to be able to become sustainable activities. However, in its implementation, tourism development can also pose challenges related to sustainable tourism development from various aspects, such as community involvement, economic progress, socio-cultural sustainability, and environmental conservation efforts. This research aims to examine the development of sustainable tourism in Tete Batu by analyzing the potential of sustainable tourism in Tete Batu using SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges faced in realizing sustainable tourism in this region. The results of this study found that there are each strengths, weaknesses internally as well as the existence of opportunities and threats in the development of tourism in Tete Batu, especially in the awareness and involvement of local communities and how to maintain the surrounding environment, so that efforts are needed to increase awareness and involvement as well as the ability of the community as human resources who are directly involved in tourism activities, besides that a comprehensive policy is needed related to efforts to preserve the environment and the lifestyle of local people in maintaining the surrounding environment both in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. This research is expected to be a reference for implementation recommendations or policies in tourism activities to maximize the benefits of sustainable tourism development for the community, managers, and government as a policy regulator.
