Abstract

Background. Pre-hospital emergency care is the most important part of ambulance services that provide emergency health services in providing an assessment of the patient's condition and providing intervention measures quickly and appropriately to prevent delays in handling patients before arriving at the hospital. A systematic review aims to find out the education for nurses working in ambulances (pre-hospital). Research Method. Systematic review goes through several stages, namely making questions, identification, eligibility, selection of article inclusion, screening, and assessment/appraisal. The Selection Process is listed in the thematic review framework and the results of 9 articles are obtained. Articles are then summarized and assessed JBI on each of the articles Findings. The data showed varying results adapted to the system and the conditions from which the study was conducted. To improve the knowledge, skills, and experience of nurses, nurses who work in ambulances (pre-hospital), are carried out to provide education with 3 methods, such as providing questionnaires, simulations and relationships between nurses and patients through 4-phase identification. Conclusion. An effort to improve the knowledge, skills, and experience of nurses working in the ministry is to apply several special education and training methods for ambulance nurses such as providing questionnaires, simulations and and relationships between nurses and patients through four phases, namely orientation, identification, exploitation and resolution.

Abstract

Background. Injuries from accidents in the school environment generally occur in the musculoskeletal system and must be treated quickly and appropriately. Injury will cause bleeding, bone deformity or disability and even death. Splint dressing relief can be performed by any trained layperson. One of the lay people trained at school is a student who has received basic emergency education. Improving fracture treatment in students can be done by online simulation using Streaming Tv Tube. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fracture handling simulation through TV Tube streaming on student preparedness in handling fractures Research Method. This type of research is a quantitative study using a Quasi-Experimental research design with a pre-post-test without control by providing a TV Tube streaming simulation intervention in one group without a comparison. The research sample was 43 students of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test Findings. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.000 so there was an effect of simulation on handling fractures through streaming TV tube on students' preparedness in handling fractures. Conclusion. There is a difference in students' preparedness in providing treatment for fractures before and after being given a fracture handling simulation intervention via TV Tube streaming. Before being given the intervention, it was shown that almost all respondents had almost ready preparedness, whereas after being given the intervention, most of the respondents had ready preparedness.

Abstract

Background. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that can exacerbate depressive symptoms due to increased symptom burden complications that lead to functional impairment and decreased quality of life. People with T2DM are twice as likely to experience loss of physical function, and decreased physical fitness and strength than people without T2DM. Physical effort is an integral part of programs for disease prevention and management. Physical fitness, depression status, and quality of life have not been specifically evaluated and described after training in these two environments.  This article aims to find and review land and water-based physical exercise intervention research as an alternative solution to improve physical fitness, depression status, and quality of life of T2DM patients. Research Method. Descriptive analysis method. Systematic reviews were evaluated using the PRISMA checklist. Database: Scopus, Science direct, Pubmed, CINAHL, and ProQuest. Article search with the PICOS framework. The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal as an alternative to assessing the risk of study bias. Findings. The 25 articles that met the inclusion criteria consisted of 18 (Randomized Control Trials) and 7 (Quasy-experiments). Consisting of land and water-based aerobic classifications that are useful in the physical and psychological aspects of T2DM. Conclusion. There is an influence of land-based and aquatic physical exercise on physical fitness, depressive status, and quality of life in T2DM patients.
