Abstract

Consumption and production activities are inseparable from human daily life, so it cannot be denied that these activities produce unwanted impacts which have the potential to harm the surrounding environment such as waste. Therefore, efforts and potential handling are needed to realize the handling of responsible consumption and production. This activity aims to analyze current social problems and overcome them by planning community service programs through entrepreneurship. The research method used in analyzing this article is a quantitative and qualitative method, which includes direct observation or through social media of the problems being faced by the community and analyzing the results of survey questionnaires on programs that have been designed in the form of Google form. The process of implementing activities starts from evaluating the surrounding environment and the results of the evaluation will be used to plan activities to overcome these problems. After that, prepare activities by looking for partners and making prototype applications that will start carrying out activities. Finally, collect ratings and feedback from users regarding our designed applications. The end result of this application design is to become an intermediary application in realizing responsible consumption and production handling through the features provided such as educational features, channeling features, and other features that support waste reprocessing activities. With this application, it is hoped that it can create a cleaner environment and free from waste pollution with efforts to minimize and reuse waste through the application features provided.

Abstract

Along with the increase in population in Tanjungpinang City, it also has an impact on the environment that is polluted by household waste that is left to accumulate in landfills and is not properly processed. Even though the waste can be processed or resold and can generate an economy that will help improve the standard of living of the community. Community service activities carried out in the form of helping to provide socialization and training on how to manage household waste into materials of economic value and practice how to form a Waste Bank unit so that the community can be independent in processing waste and become a means of saving by using waste so that people are more motivated to maintain cleanliness. The method used in this service is the PAR method where we help invite the community to actively participate in solving the problems faced, namely waste, and the results of this study are that the community in rt.3 rw.3 kelurahan tanjung ayun sakti, tanjungpinang managed to create a waste bank unit and can maximize household waste into rupiah coffers, and it is hoped that the role of the government will also help support the development of this Waste Bank.

Abstract

Lamreh is a village located in Masjid Raya sub-district, Aceh Besar district, Aceh, which has various and unique tourist objects, many local or foreign tourists who want to visit Lamreh village for holidays and some who want camping or family events. However. lack of information about this village so that the village is less visited by local and foreign tourists. And the location is also far from urban banda aceh. So Lamreh village really needs a website to provide complete information. This application contains a design for a village information system including village profiles, tourist information, and information about Lamreh village. This study uses the waterfall method. The research stages include data collection, analysis, design, coding, implementation testing.

Abstract

Waste problem is a national issue that occurs in Indonesia. The dominant type of waste in Indonesia is organic or biodegradable waste, especially food waste. The city of Batam located in the Riau Archipelago Province is a popular tourist destination that generates large amounts of food waste. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that Batam is a strategic location for international shipping, resulting in a high volume of waste. Observations show that the most generated food waste in Batam City is corn husks, which are a by-product of staple crops in Indonesia, which presents a significant challenge in waste management. This article outlines the efforts made by the author to turn corn husk waste into unique handicraft products that can be sold on the market, namely the Rafflesia Dome and Wisata Nusantara Photo Frames, in order to increase the value of the waste and provide a sustainable solution to the food waste problem

Abstract

Software utilization is part of the use of technology, especially in the field of education, which can be used as a provision in the field of work and further education. Community Service at SMAS Bodhi Dharma which is a private high school located in Batam City. The online transition to offline learning at school after being declared a Covid-19 endemic has returned teaching and learning activities using school facilities. The purpose of this service activity is to provide insight, basic understanding, and application of Microsoft Office products, especially in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel products. The methods used in this service are interviews and surveys with the Principal of SMAS Bodhi Dharma, participant data surveys, material preparation, training practices, and evaluation. The training participants were students from different classes totalling 40 people. This training was conducted offline for two days. The results of this training are seen from the results of the evaluation work that is by the questions given. Participants were also very enthusiastic during the training and it is hoped that the next training program will provide advanced skills training in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
