Abstract

Penyuluhan bullying & hatespeech di laksanakan di sekolah Yehonala Batam . Tujuan dari penyuluhan ini adalah untuk menyadarkan semua kalangan masyarakat terutama kaum pelajar di Sekolah Yehonala mengenai bahaya Bullying & Hatespeech terhadap kesehatan psikis maupun kesehatan fisik. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan pengumpulan data melalui kuis yang disebarkan melalui Google Form dan Quizizz Berdasarkan hasil dari kuis yang disebarkan, siswa-siswi Sekolah Yehonala menjadi lebih mengerti mengenai Bullying & Hatespeech secara luas. Dengan kegiatan penyuluhan ini, sangat diharapkan agar Sekolah Yehonala lebih memperhatikan dan peduli terhadap murid-murid supaya tidak melakukan Bullying & Hatespeech. Saran untuk Sekolah Yehonala adalah menciptakan suasana yang positif dan selalu mengajarkan untuk saling menghormati dan menghargai sesama.

Abstract

Based on the results of our group's research taking policies related to post-inflation risk in the Riau Islands region, there is the Batam, Riau Islands Province Economy, Riau Islands Province Batam inflation was recorded at 5.89% (yoy) in the second quarter of 2022. This figure increased by 3.24% (yoy) compared to the previous quarter as increased mobility, supply disruptions and geopolitical pressures have pushed up global commodity prices. Inflation in the second quarter of 2022 was influenced by an increase in inflation in the food, beverage and tobacco categories, which was triggered by an increase in the price of chicken eggs and various chili peppers. In addition, speed is affected by groups such as air freight fares and groups of food and restaurant suppliers.

Abstract

Waste problem is a national issue that occurs in Indonesia. The dominant type of waste in Indonesia is organic or biodegradable waste, especially food waste. The city of Batam located in the Riau Archipelago Province is a popular tourist destination that generates large amounts of food waste. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that Batam is a strategic location for international shipping, resulting in a high volume of waste. Observations show that the most generated food waste in Batam City is corn husks, which are a by-product of staple crops in Indonesia, which presents a significant challenge in waste management. This article outlines the efforts made by the author to turn corn husk waste into unique handicraft products that can be sold on the market, namely the Rafflesia Dome and Wisata Nusantara Photo Frames, in order to increase the value of the waste and provide a sustainable solution to the food waste problem

Abstract

Dalam kegiatan pemilu, pemilih pemula cenderung belum sepenuhnya mengenal lingkungan politik sehingga rawan dipolarisasi dan diintervensi oleh kelompok berkepentingan. Oleh karena itu, diadakan Edukasi Pemilu 2024 dan Sosialisasi Pengawasan Partisipatif kepada Pemilih Pemula di SMAN 15 Batam pada tanggal 26 Juli 2023 dengan tujuan memberikan edukasi sehingga pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024 berjalan dengan lancar tanpa adanya golput dan potensi kerawanan lainnya. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, kami menggunakan metode observasi dan literatur, yaitu dengan mengunjungi secara langsung SMAN 15 Batam bersama dengan tim Bawaslu dan menjalankan serangkaian kegiatan, seperti penyampaian materi, ice breaking, dan mengajak siswa-siswi untuk berpartisipasi dalam lomba poster dan video bertemakan pemilu. Oleh karena itu, siswa-siswi dapat mengetahui pentingnya menyalurkan suara untuk memilih pemimpin yang akan membawa Indonesia menjadi lebih baik di masa depan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Internasional Batam dengan berkujungan ke panti asuhan, di mana kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Mei 2023. Tujuan dari kegiatan tersebut yaitu, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan kesejahtraan masyarakat, terutama penghuni di panti asuhan yang telah ditentukan oleh pihak kampus. Metode pelaksaan yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan kunjungan dan mengamati secara langsung ke lokasi, yaitu Panti Asuhan Daarul Ishlah Batam. Tidak hanya berkunjung, tim juga memberikan edukasi dan melakukan permainan kepada anak-anak di panti asuhan yang merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan kunjungan ini, serta memberikan bantuan berupa buku dan bahan-bahan pokok. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan yang telah dicapai, para mahasiswa dapat memberikan solusi terhadap masalah yang dihadapi oleh penghuni di panti asuhan yaitu tingginya biaya hidup di zaman sekarang. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan kunjungan ke panti asuhan Daarul Ishlah Batam dapat dikatakan sukses.

Abstract

Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) merupakan lembaga independen yang bertanggung jawab mengawasi penyelenggaraan pemilu di Indonesia. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya, Bawaslu menghadapi tantangan kompleks dikarenakan populasi Indonesia yang besar beserta dengan kondisi geografis Indonesia yang unik, untuk menghadapi tantangan ini Bawaslu perlu meningkatkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) secara efektif. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan bekerja sama dengan instansi seperti universitas, contohnya adalah Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) yang telah menurunkan 1070 mahasiswa untuk membantu dalam pengawasan pemilu. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup tahap awal, administrasi, dan pelaksanaan, yang menghasilkan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan 80 kepala keluarga di Kelurahan Kibing dan Buliang, Tiban. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan data yang signifikan untuk persiapan pemilu dan meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat. Poster dan video menjadi bukti dokumentasi kegiatan yang berhasil dilaksanakan. Meskipun ada kendala seperti warga yang aprehensif, kurangnya kerjasama, cuaca, dan kendala logistik, program ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dengan memberikan data penting kepada Bawaslu dan meningkatkan partisipasi politik untuk memperkuat demokrasi di Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractThe global marketing perspective in international business is a necessary approach for companies operating in global markets. In the era of globalization, international business must understand and manage the challenges and opportunities that arise in the international market. Global marketing involves different strategies and tactics than domestic marketing, given the differences in culture, language, consumer preferences, and regulations in each country. This research aims to provide an overview of marketing in international business and to organize and classify the literature on marketing to clarify the importance of this tool and encourage future research in international business marketing (IBM) projections and the ubiquity of this tool's power in the hands of users. This research also focuses on companies that must be able to adapt their products and marketing messages to local preferences and the needs of consumers in each market and must have in-depth knowledge of international trade laws and regulations and develop effective cross-cultural communication skills. The global marketing perspective in international business is the key to a company's success in the global market. In an increasingly connected world, companies must be able to understand global markets, adapt their products and strategies, face existing challenges, and forge strategic partnerships. With the right approach, companies can achieve a competitive advantage in an increasingly complex global marketplace. Apart from that the contribution of research is also important to identify new challenges and opportunities for marketers, researchers and international companies and in terms of unraveling the existing contradictions, applying new theoretical frameworks to make better future decisions for large corporations, and providing higher quality research to new in the IBM context.

Abstract

As we all know, employees must be able to think logically and engage with their environment. Work is not only dependent on or prioritized by machines or technical equipment. Recognizing the importance of supply chain management in every company and using a capable Enterprise Resource Management system or often known as an Enterprise Resource System (ERP) to solve problems and increase revenue in improving the performance of existing supply chain management in a company. Therefore, we will use PT. Unilever Indonesia to research this research topic. As PT. Unilever Indonesia sales of various consumer products, including culinary spices, body care products, cosmetics and toiletries; which means PT. Unilever must have a stable supply chain.
