Abstract

Today, technology is growing rapidly in its use to help human life. The result of technological developments that we often encounter and even we ourselves may each have is a mobile phone or cellphone. This object is always in our hands at all times. In a day, we almost never miss the features that make it easy to communicate. Moreover, mobile phones now with advanced technology and interesting applications. For example, the use of social media that is widely used by young people today, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. One of the social media that is often used by millennials today is Instagram, through this media we can convey information and will also be closer to things that interest us, by following an account. Everything feels so easy and practical with technology and the internet. Based on the above and in order to increase the ability (skills) of students at SMK Letris Indonesia, Jl. Kalimantan 1 Villa Bintaro Indah Jombang – Ciputat, South Tangerang, where the school wants to hold a training aimed at using Digital Media as a medium for delivering information to the wider community. This is one of the skills that students want to improve so that they are able to create creative content, especially using Instagram media. So that later they can maximize the delivery of a flow of information to the public.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. The virus that causes Covid-19 is called Sars-CoV-2. This covid-19 counseling and prevention is carried out so that we know about Covid-19 and how to prevent and handle it, especially for people who live around RT 01 who are very vulnerable to Covid-19 transmission due to the lack of people maintaining health protocols. This activity aims to provide education and assistance to the community around RT 01 to implement health protocols to avoid the transmission of Covid-19. The approach method used in this community service activity is in the form of outreach to the community about preventing Covid-19 through education and a participatory approach, meaning that participants are required to be active in participating during the activity. The activity process is in the form of counseling through education with material delivered in the form of powerpoints and educational videos and is interspersed with the distribution of masks and hand washing fluids during the activity. The activity was carried out on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at RT 01 RW 05, Tondo Village. The result of this activity is increasing public knowledge regarding the importance of maintaining health protocols and ways to prevent transmission of the Covid-19 virus. It is hoped that by conducting this outreach, the public will be more aware and concerned about preventing Covid-19 by wearing masks. In addition, all people when leaving the house wear masks

Abstract

Dangue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a vector-borne disease caused by the Dangue virus and transmitted by the Aedes sp. This disease is characterized by a sudden fever of 2-7 days without apparent cause, weakness, fatigue, lethargy, restlessness, heartburn, accompanied by skin bleeding in the form of red spots, bruising, rash, sometimes nosebleeds, bloody stools, vomiting blood, consciousness. decline or shock. This disease affects all ages and everyone. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the problem of handling vectors for dengue disease also occurred in hamlet II, Gonggong Village, in this case the efforts made to increase the effectiveness of handling vectors for dengue disease  management, work programs that can be made are social services and counseling about the influence of handling vectors for dengue disease with 3 M Plus

Abstract

Indonesia is ranked second in ASSEAN and ranked 8th in the world in cases of early marriage. According to 2017 BPSN data, Central Sulawesi Province ranks 11th in early marriage. According to the 2014 BKKBN data in Prabantari (2016), showing that early marriages carried out by women aged 15-19 years in Indonesia reached 46%. According to Central Sulawesi BPS data (2017), Sigi Regency is ranked 5th, where it is known that Balane Village belongs to Sigi Regency. Marawola sub-district was ranked first in cases of female early marriage with a percentage of 18.9% in Sigi District, especially in South Tinggede Village. Based on the results of initial observations, cases of early marriage in Balane Village, Sigi Regency are increasing, this is based on data from the village office and data from the results of the study of many teenagers who marry at a young age, 5 heads of families who are still 20 years old, for mothers aged less from 20 years as many as 10 people and based on the results of interviews conducted during resident observations during field practice, the number of divorces in early married couples occurred before the completion of reporting in the civil registry. Objective: The purpose of Community Service is to provide awareness and information about the importance of reducing the number of early marriages in order to improve the quality of human resources. Method: the method used is lecture and discussion method using powerpoint media. The result, based on the results of observations, regional mapping and interviews, shows that there is an increase in early marriage which causes health problems for mothers and children, so it is necessary to provide health education. Results: The results obtained during the observation that the residents of Balane Village have a family head with as many as 5 families and the number of divorces due to early marriage before the registration of civil registration is carried out. It is hoped that after the counseling will increase public knowledge and can prevent early marriage.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is caused by the novel coronavirus 2019-nCOV which is highly contagious and spreads rapidly and becomes an outbreak throughout the world including Indonesia. One of the efforts recommended by WHO is the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 with the implementation of vaccines and the use of masks properly and appropriately. The purpose of community service activities is to educate people who have not implemented vaccines for vaccines and educate the public how to use masks properly. The location of the activity was held in Uwemanje Dusun III / RT 06 Village. Methods used in the form of lectures, discussions using leaflet media. The result of educational activities is the community that uses masks as much as 60% and the realization of the vaccine community as much as 60%.

Abstract

Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are big challenges in Indonesia. These two diseases are most often found in health services with a fairly high prevalence. It is important to carry out early detection of diabetes mellitus and hypertension in order to optimize management if detected and the public also needs to be given education to understand the importance of checking health status. This service activity was carried out in 2 (two) stages, namely the first stage of health counseling for diabetes mellitus and hypertension, then followed by checking blood pressure and checking blood sugar for local residents to determine the blood pressure and blood sugar of residents who had attended the counseling event. In the first stage, the method is lecture, discussion and question and answer. Community service activities regarding health education (counseling) about hypertension and diabetes mellitus received enthusiastic responses from residents. Similar activities should be carried out continuously to increase public knowledge, especially regarding non-communicable diseases. Activities can be in the form of ongoing counseling to all residents.

Abstract

This activity aims to look at various educational problems in the border area of ​​the Nusa Tenggara Timur Province (NTT) and the Republic of Democratic of Timor Leste (RDTL). Implementing this activity is to conduct discussions to increase understanding of strategic issues regarding educational gaps with lecturers and postgraduate students at Nusa Cendana University, Kupang NTT. The method of writing this paper is to use a qualitative approach by reviewing various literature and quantitative data and the results of the discussions carried out. The growth in the level of education services in NTT has been increasing in line with educational investments made by the government, such as increasing the number of classrooms in senior high schools, vocational schools and universities/polytechnics. However, the average education rating in NTT is still the fourth lowest in Indonesia. The district with the worst conditions on the border is Malacca. Districts in other border areas, such as Timor Tengah Utara, Kupang and Belu, performed better than other districts. Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease that attacks the respiratory system in humans. This virus has infected millions of people, causing high mortality rates for sufferers worldwide. Children are a group that is very vulnerable to the transmission of COVID-19. Therefore, PHBS is an alternative to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19. PHBS is very important to do early on because in addition to helping individuals avoid the transmission of COVID-19, it is also to prepare the younger generation to be aware of their own health and the environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to educate children regarding PHBS during the COVID-19 pandemic. The target of this activity is the children of the 5th Corps Salvation Army Church, Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District. The location of this activity was carried out at the Church of the 5th Corps Salvation Army, Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District. This activity was carried out with 2 methods, namely the presentation of PHBS material as well as a demonstration of washing hands with soap. The results of the activity showed that the children already had general knowledge about PHBS, seemed enthusiastic about listening and participated in practicing hand washing with soap properly. We hope that the children in Uwemanje Village can always practice PHBS in their daily lives. Keywords: Education, PHBS, Children

Abstract

Abstract : Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in schools is a set of behaviors practiced by students, teachers and the school community on the basis of awareness, so that they are able to independently prevent disease, improve their health, and play an active role in creating a healthy environment. Some indicators of PHBS in schools include washing hands with running water and using soap, eating healthy snacks, using clean latrines, exercising regularly, eradicating mosquito larvae, not smoking at school, weighing body weight, measuring height, and throwing garbage at school. This activity is carried out using the lecture method using leaflets and posters. Before and after conducting counseling about PHBS, the presenters gave 3 questions orally. In this activity, demonstration activities were also carried out on how to wash hands properly and correctly. After finishing the presentation of the material, the presenters again gave questions orally about PHBS as many as 3 questions this was done to see how the children responded to the material that had been delivered whether they understood it or not, of the 37 students who attended most of them answered correctly and a small part answer incorrectly. The results of this activity concluded that the knowledge of SDN Balaroa 2 students about PHBS before the counseling was carried out was still very lacking. However, after counseling and demonstrations on how to wash hands properly and correctly the students really understood and were able to practice it again. Keywords: PHBS, School, Washing Hands

Abstract

Hypertension is an abnormal increase in blood pressure, namely an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension leads to cardiovascular diseases including heart disease, stroke and kidney problems. As for the results of data from the Kinovaro Health Center, hypertension is one of the three biggest diseases in the work area of ​​the Kinovaro Health Center. The purpose of giving about hypertension is one of the prevention efforts by increasing public knowledge and awareness of a healthy lifestyle that can affect health conditions, especially in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this community service activity is lectures and discussions (following the health protocol in the era of the covid-19 pandemic) using leaflet media. The results of the data show that most of the people in Porame Dusun II Village have an elementary school education level of 48%. The level of public knowledge about hypertension before being given education (pre-test) was 61% who did not know how to prevent hypertension, after being given education on the results of post-test data as much as 87% of the community had understood about preventing hypertension and managing a lifestyle for people with hypertension.
