The Indonesian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research aims to represent and publish research in various disciplines submitted by practitioners from research institutions derived from the research of students, lecturers, and other practitioners. This includes studies and reviews conducted by multidisciplinary teams (combining or involving several disciplines or professional specializations) as well as research that evaluates or reports on the results or implementation of such teams or the research process in general. The journal covers a very wide range of fields and we welcome submissions from practitioners in management, education and technology. The Indonesian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research is not limited by person, place, or time and this journal aims to reflect that. Jurnal Penelitian Multidisciplinary Indonesia is published as an open access journal to enable a wide range of practical research relevant to readers to be immediately available to practitioners who can access and use it soon after publication. The journal is a member of and adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Articles in the Indonesian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research are in Indonesian and English.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan makna sosial tradisi nyumbang di Desa Masda Makmur Kecamatan Rambah Samo Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat di Desa Masda Makmur. Sementara itu, pengambilan informan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan teknik keabsahan data berupa triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Selanjutnya, data akan dianalisis melalui analisis interaktif yang terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85% masyarakat Masda Makmur memaknai tradisi nyumbang sebagai resiprokal dan utang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of BUMDes Arwana Mahato in increasing village community participation, the role of BUMDes in realizing an independent village, policies developed to support community participation towards an independent village. The research method used is descriptive with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that the role of BUMDes Arwana Mahato is in increasing community participation through training, outreach and coaching, creating employment opportunities for the community and fostering community business activities. The role of BUMDes in realizing an independent village is to increase the potential and welfare of the community through employment, growing community economic activities, providing easy access to business, and increasing village original income (PADes). The policies developed to support community participation towards an independent village are coordination with the village government supervising the management of BUMDes, cooperation with local governments and BUMDes business partners in conducting training.
