Abstract

Background. A good brand image owned by the company will make it easier for customers to decide on a purchase. Words of mouth (WOM) are positive or negative experiences communicated by someone after buying a product. Research Purpose. This study aims to examine and prove the analysis of Word of Mouth (WOM) and brand image on purchasing decisions. Research Method. This study used quantitative with a case study approach at Harapan Minimarket Tuban Regency, East Java Indonesia. The population was 120 respondents and the number of samples taken was 100 respondents using non-purposive sampling. Data collection was done by using questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. Findings. The results showed that a lot of Word of Mouth (WOM) was shown to have a positive and significant influence on increasing purchasing decisions at Harapan Minimarket. Then a quality brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Harapan Minimarket. Conclusion. Finally, Word of Mouth (WOM) and brand image simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on increasing purchasing decisions at Harapan Minimarket.

Abstract

Background. Koperindo East Java activities collect funds from the public in the form of savings and channel these funds back to the community in the form of credit and provide other bank services. Research Purpose. This study aims to analyze the percentage level of bad credit at Koperindo and describe Non-Performing Loans (NPL) for the last 3 years. Research Methods. This descriptive research at Koperindo East Java, Kandat District, Kediri Regency. This study used primary data sources by interviews and field observations. Researchers also used secondary data obtained through Koperindo banking documents and analyzed them using descriptive analytic methods. Findings. Bad credit is caused by internal factors and external factors in Koperindo. For 2020 it has an NPL of 7.42%, for 2021 it has an NPL of 9.97%, this shows that in 2022 NPL credit will increase by 2.25%. Because the NPL level at Koperindo East Java exceeds the policy standard, which is 5%, Koperindo emphasizes that in 2021 it will focus more on NPL so that cooperatives experience a decrease in the NPL level. So that in 2022 the NPL is 3.75% and has decreased by 6.22%. The NPL principle is “The Lower Is Better”, meaning that the smaller the NPL value, the better the soundness level of a cooperative. Conclusion. Handling bad credit problems through optimal and effective billing by the credit supervisory team and restructuring in 3 ways: extending the credit period, changing the loan system from the installment system to maturity, and confiscating collateral.

Abstract

Background. Along with the development of technology, banking services in Indonesia have largely transitioned into Digital Banks. Digital banks have become a solution to economic problems during the pandemic period. Research Purpose. To determine the analysis of the differences in the financial performance of digital banks during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Research Method. The research employs a comparative quantitative approach with a case research design. The research objects are three digital banks, namely Jago Bank, BTPN Bank, and Bukopin Bank. The data used in the research consists of financial reports from the quarters of the years 2020-2021. The research variables include the ratios ROA, ROE, BOPO, NPM, DER, and LDR. The analysis method utilizes the ANOVA test. Findings. The financial performance in terms of ROA, ROE, BOPO, NPM, and DER ratios between Jago Bank and BTPN Bank showed significant differences. However, the LDR ratio was no significant difference. The financial performance between Jago Bank and Bukopin Bank, in terms of the ROA, ROE, NPM, and DER ratios, resulted in significant differences. However, the BOPO dan LDR ratios were no significant differences. The overall ratios of BTPN Bank & Bukopin Bank have a significant difference. Conclusion. There is a significant difference in financial performance between Jago Bank, BTPN Bank, and Bukopin Bank during the pandemic period. These three digital banks exhibit different financial performances, aligning with their respective areas of focus. However, there are some variables among these digital banks that did not show significant differences in the LDR and BOPO.

Abstract

Background. Regarding the behavior of religiosity and compliance with trade tithes by Muslimah entrepreneurs of the Indonesian Muslim Women Entrepreneurs Association (hereinafter referred to as IPEMI) Surabaya is in accordance with the theory, but in the religious behavior variable, namely knowledge about trade zakat. They still do not fully understand the calculation, distribution, and timeliness are still different. -differs in implementation. In addition, indicators of zakat compliance are also not precise in the calculation, distribution, and implementation time. Research Purposes. Knowing and analyzing religiosity behavior which includes belief, experience/practice, appreciation, knowledge, and commitment to IPEMI in compliance with trade tithes. Research Methods. The research design used a qualitative descriptive approach with an inductive mindset. Snowball sampling technique for sampling. Data collection through documentation and interviews with 5 people, including the chairman, and four members of IPEMI East Java who are domiciled in Surabaya, and focused on IPEMI Surabaya entrepreneurs who are members of IPEMI East Java. Findings. Religious behavior which includes belief, experience and practice, appreciation, knowledge, and commitment at IPEMI Surabaya is very good, it's just that there are some members who still lack knowledge and understanding of trade zakat. Conclusion. Religious behavior and commitment at IPEMI Surabaya are very good in terms of knowledge and understanding of trade zakat so that it can be integrated in a complex way between religious knowledge, feelings, and religious actions related to trade zakat.

Abstract

BackgroundThe phenomenon of the spread of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in various parts of the world has implications for all aspects of life, one of which is education and learning. The demands of digital-based adaptive learning as the demands of the world of education must meet these demands. Van Dijk's digital divide theory is an instrument to observe the phenomena that occur, as well as Everet M. Rogers' perspective with Adoption Diffusion Theory (ADT) as a treatment for campus teaching programs that bridge the digital culture gap.Research PurposeThe research purpose was to lead the emergence of digital cultural imbalances for teachers in accessing e-learning at Al Mufidah Elementary School, Surabaya. Research MethodThis study uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with 13 teachers at the research location with a total sampling method to map the digital culture gap like what happened in the research locationFindingsThe results of this study are the differences in resources experienced by teachers have an impact on the duration of access (often using the default application but never used for learning), mental, and social (teachers become passive).ConclusionThe most dominant access differences are differences in motivation (teachers do not have strong motivation to access), materials (teachers do not have sufficient competence to access technology and digital learning platforms every day), skills and use (teachers are not intense in using digital technology, do not using applications while learning).
