JAWAMIUL KALIM: Jurnal Kajian Hadis is a biannual (March and September) and peer-reviewed journal published by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian masyarakat (P3M), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar, Indonesia. The journal accepts submissions of manuscripts from any issues related to hadith and science of hadith studies. We more encourage any paper related to Living Hadith, Maani of Hadith, Takhrij of Hadith, Mushkil of Hadith, Hadith Applications, Sanad of Hadith, Matan of Hadith, Syarah or Fiqh of Hadith, etc. All submitted papers are put through double-blind review process. The journal accepts both research and non-research articles, which will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. Once a manuscript is submitted trough the online process, a journal editor examines the manuscript and determines its appropriateness for the full peer review. If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be sent to peer reviewers. The journal’s editorial board will then consider the peer reviewerss reports and assemble the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication. Language used in this journal is Indonesian, English, and Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of Anas bin Malik's hadith regarding the advice to amar makruf and nahi munkar which contradicts other Shari'a arguments from the Al-Qur'an and the hadiths of the Prophet. This research is a descriptive research with library research method or document study and normative and historical approaches. Through this research, several results were found: first, Anas bin Malik's hadith is a very weak hadith because it was narrated through weak narrators, and there is no other route from mutabi' that can strengthen it. Likewise, the hadith of Abu Hurairah, whose status is a martyr, was also punished weakly because the masdar hadith of Ṭalhah bin 'Amr had been abandoned by hadith scholars. Therefore, these two hadiths cannot mutually reinforce one another. Second, this sabāb al-wurūd hadith of Anas is a friend's question to Rasulullah saw. are we not allowed to call mankind to goodness until we do it first, and we are not forbidding mankind from evil until we leave it first. Third, this hadith contains a call to order mankind to do good and forbid them from evil. Although the hadith of Anas bin Malik ra. this is very weak, as is the case with the hadith of Abu Hurairah ra, but the meaning of this hadith is correct and does not contradict other arguments from both the Koran and the hadiths of the Prophet. It can even be said that the meaning of Anas' hadith is a bayan or explanation of the generality of the verses and hadiths of the Prophet. another.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the fiqh method, syarah method, approaches, and interpretation techniques in understanding hadith. This research is library research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that in understanding hadith there are various ways and techniques of interpretation, one of which is understanding using textual and contextual methods. Likewise in the syarah of hadiths which can be carried out using several methods, including the taḥlīlī method, the ijmālī method, the muqāran method, and the mauḍū`ī method. While the approach that can be used in understanding the hadith is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach. As for hadith interpretation techniques, we can use linguistic, historical, scientific interpretation techniques, and so on. This research is expected to increase public interest in studying ʿulūm al-Ḥadiṡ, especially methods in explaining and understanding the hadith of the Prophet, so that efforts to revive sunnah can be achieved in the midst of Muslim society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concepts and methods of moral education in the chapter on adab in the book of Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī. This research is literature research using a historical sociological approach and data processing is carried out using qualitative methods. The results showed that the study of adab and morals received great attention from the hadith of the Prophet. The methods of moral education used vary based on the concept of human nature which loves goodness. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the field of education, including management and management based on nabawi morals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the jarh of scholars by using gestures، specifically hand movements. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research with library research techniques. Among the results of the research found are: first، the texts of the ulama jarh wa ta'dil using movement are numerous and can be found in the books of hadith، rijal، 'ilal، sualat، jarh wa ta'dil، and other sources other primers. Second، the various methods of jarh wa ta'dil scholars in their jarh towards narrators by using gestures، and through this research three main movements of the scholars were found، namely: hand movements، head movements، and changes in facial expressions. As for the forms in detail، found 14 movements. Third، most of the movements used by jarh wa ta'dil scholars in their jarh are hand movements with the eight variations mentioned in this study.

Abstract

As Muslims we cannot be separated from references to the rules of the Qur’an and hadis in our daily lives. Where the Al Qur’an is the source of transmission that takes place mutawatir, while some of the Hadis narrations take place mutawatir and some take place on ahad basis. From this, various issues of criticism of sanad and matan Hadis arise in various circles of Hadis researchers. Some researchers argue that criticism of Hadis has so far mostly discussed the issue of sanad criticism, but only a few have discussed the issue of matan criticism. Meanwhile from the matan perspective, this Hadis research will actually strengthen the quality of the Hadis sanad. In a Hadis it is necessary to have a critique of sanad and matan in order to find out which type of Hadis is makbul or mardud. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to examine in depth the criticism of Matan Hadis using several existing methods. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques based on library research which is a data collection system by finding sources such as books, journals, and other scientific papers. This research also uses content analysis, which is reasearch that aims to analyze the content, understand, and know about criticism of the Hadis matan. The results of the study show that there is a method used in criticizing the hadis matan and there are also minor and major rules used in the process of criticizing the Hadis matan, as well as examples of critique of hadis matan at the time of companions. For this reason, Muslims from various circles can understand the study of the critique of Matan Hadis in this study.
