l Makki Health Informatics Journal is an open-access scientific peer-review journal publishing. The Al Makki Health Informatics Journal focuses on exchanging information relating to intelligent computing and health informatics applied in industry, hospitals, government, and universities. All articles should include a validation of the idea presented, e.g. through case studies, experiments, or systematic comparisons with other approaches already in practice. Two types of papers are accepted: (1) A short paper that discusses a single contribution to a specific new trend or a new idea, and; (2) A long paper that provides a survey of a specific research trend using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, as well as a traditional review method. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Electronic health record E-Health Information Medical Image Processing & Techniques Data Mining in Healthcare Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Mobile applications for patient care Medical Image Processing & Techniques Hospital information systems Document handling systems Electronic medical record systems Standardization, and systems integration ICT in health promotion programmes e-health Guidelines and protocols E-learning & education in healthcare Telemedicine Software- Portals-Devices & Telehealth Public health & consumer informatics Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery in Medicine ICT for Patient empowerment ICT for Patient safety Medical Databanks-Databases & Knowledge Bases Healthcare Quality assurance Nursing Informatics Evaluation & Technology Assessment Home-based eHealth Health Management Issues Health Research Health Economics Issues Statistical Method for Computer Medical Decision Support Systems Medical Informatics or medicine in general Organizational, economic, social, clinical impact, ethical and cost-benefit aspects of IT applications in health care.

Abstract

Palliative care is aimed at the patient's recovery process in accepting the illness he is suffering from, and palliative care is to reduce the suffering experienced by the patient. This study aimed to determine nurses' level of knowledge and caring behavior in palliative care. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique uses convenience sampling. The sample of this study is nurses finding 63. The measuring instruments used in this study are Palliative Care Quiz For Nursing (PCQN) and Caring Behaviors Inventory (CBI). Statistical analysis using Spearman rank correlation test. The study results obtained a 2-tailed Sig value of 0.000 (p-value> 0.005), thus indicating a relationship between knowledge and nurse behavior. This research is expected to illustrate Nurse's nursing behavior in providing care to palliative patients.

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia at ages > 18 years is increasing. Hypertension sufferers who make efforts to control blood pressure are only one-fifth of all sufferers in the world. Controlling hypertension can be done by controlling risk factors, namely by eating healthy food, reducing the amount of salt in food, not consuming alcohol, not smoking, controlling stress, and doing physical activity.

Abstract

Postoperative hypertension is a significant and transient increase in blood pressure that develops within the first 4 hours to 48 hours after a surgical procedure. These events are associated with increased sympathetic tone and vascular resistance. Hypertension is defined as a systolic blood pressure of 130 mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure of 80 mmHg. Postoperative hypertension can lead to complications of increased myocardial oxygen demand, cerebrovascular accident, and even death. This study aims to determine the effect of age on post-operative hypertension at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. This research is an analytical observational study using a cross sectional design and using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between age (p < 0.05) and the incidence of postoperative hypertension. The subjects of this study were 123 men who underwent mild to moderate elective surgery using general anesthesia. This study shows that there is a relationship between age and the incidence of hypertension after surgery with general anesthesia (p, 0.05). There were 67 subjects experiencing postoperative hypertension (54.5%) and the majority of subjects (66.66%) in the age range 46-80 years, had postoperative hypertension and the most minor incidence (29%) was in the age range 17-25 year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of compensation and organizational climate on work attitudes mediated by nurse motivation at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta. This research uses a survey method, namely research that takes samples from a population using a questionnaire as the main data collection tool to test the symptoms or phenomena observed. This research uses a causality design based on a cross-sectional time dimension, namely measurements of the independent and dependent variables are carried out simultaneously. The unit of analysis is the individual, the data analysis method uses regression. The number of samples obtained that met the inclusion criteria was 55 samples. Based on the research results, it was found that compensation, organizational climate and motivation simultaneously have an influence on work attitudes, but motivation cannot be an intervening variable. The implications of this research will theoretically prove the influence of research variables and managerially can improve the compensation system in hospitals.

Abstract

Background: Bogor City has an incidence rate of 21.4 per 100,000 population, but the CFR is quite high at 2.49%. Therefore, it is necessary to increase knowledge about surveillance among DHF program holders in Bogor City in 2022. Method: The study design in this DBD operational research is a non-experimental pre-test and post-test design study. Primary data starts from the results of the pretest-posttest for the DHF program manager using a questionnaire, while mapping skills are taken from the observation sheet that has been made. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from the profile analysis results of the Bogor City Health Service. Data analysis was carried out using univariate, bivariate and normality tests. Results: there was a difference in the knowledge of DBD Community Health Center program holders after training in terms of knowledge of DHF surveillance (Pvalue < 0.05). There is a difference in increasing skills in mapping dengue cases among community health center dengue fever program holders after training in mapping using applications (Pvalue < 0.05), and there is an increase in interpreting data and determining regional stratification of dengue cases (Pvalue < 0.05 ) Conclusion: increasing the knowledge and skills of dengue program holders is carried out using appropriate interventions, so that dengue program holders can implement a good surveillance system in preventing and controlling dengue fever

Abstract

Problems often experienced by Chronic Kidney Failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy are related to excess fluid intake in the body. Patients with chronic renal failure who do not comply with fluid intake restrictions will experience fluid accumulation, causing pulmonary edema and left ventricular hypertrophy. The buildup of fluid in the body causes the heart and lungs to function hard, resulting in patients becoming tired and short of breath. while intake that is too low results in dehydration, hypotension, and impaired kidney function. Failed Diseases. Monitoring fluid intake and output in patients has proven to be effective in dealing with excess fluid volume. It is hoped that using non-pharmacological therapy is one method for patients with chronic kidney failure with fluid balance and electrolytes in fluid management interventions. The research results were obtained after fluid management was carried out to reduce fluid and electrolyte balance in patients with chronic renal failure, blood pressure improved, edema was reduced, skin turgor was good, there were no additional breath sounds, patients were able to understand the importance of limiting fluid and sodium intake. , and be able to measure and record food intake and urine output independently.
