Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the level of tsunami hazard in Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, (2) determine the level of vulnerability to the Tsunami disaster in Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The method used is an overlay method with weighted parameters of vulnerability and vulnerability. The results of this research are: (1) The area prone to tsunami disasters in Padangpariaman Regency is an area along the coast of the Indian Ocean. This area is part of Batang Gasan, Sungailimau, Limo Koto Kampung Dalam, Ulakan Tapakis, and Batanganai Districts. This is due to its location on the coast with a sloping topography. Of these areas, Ulakan Tapakis District is the most vulnerable. (2) The area with a high level of vulnerability is Ulakan Tapakis District. This is because most of the area is prone to tsunamis. Coupled with a population that is more dense than the surrounding area. The Batang Gasan, Sungailimau and Batanganai areas are in the medium category. Meanwhile, Limo Koto Kampung Dalam sub-district is included in the low vulnerability class.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui tingkat kerentanan lingkungan dan tingkat kerantanan fisik terhadap bencana tanah longsor di Kabupaten Tanah Datar, (2) Untuk mitigasi bencana tanah longsor di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu tingkat kerentanan lingkungan terhadap tanah longsor terdapat tiga kelas yaitu kelas rendah dengan luas 664.11 Km2, kelas sedang seluas 563.71 Km2, dan kelas tinggi seluas 100.38 Km2. Tingkat kerentanan fisik terhadap bencana longsor terdapat tiga kelas yaitu kelas rendah dengan luas 733.77 Km2, kelas sedang seluas 257.81 Km2, dan kelas tinggi seluas 326.95 Km2. Mitigasi becana longsor pada kerentanan lingkungan yang dapat dilakukan seperti melakukan sosialisasi , menghindari pembangunan pada area dengan tingkat kemiringan lereng yang curam dan mitigasi pada kerentanan fisik seperti memperbaiki kondisi vegetasi dan membuat dinding penahan tanah.

Abstract

Coronavirus is a virus similar to the common cold or the common cold that can cause mild to serious illness. Meanwhile, the virus that caused a stir in Indonesia, which originated from China, was the Corona Virus. The new corona virus was discovered to cause the coronavirus disease Covid-19. Covid-19 is an infectious disease and was only discovered when the outbreak started in Wuhan, China in December 2019. West Sumatra is one of the provinces with a relatively dense population. With 7 cities and 12 regencies. One of the cities in West Sumatra, namely Kota Pariaman, has felt the impact of Covid-19, Kota Pariaman is famous for the Balai Kurai Taji Market. The traders at the Balai Kurai Taji Market are currently screaming because of the rampant Covid-19 outbreak by reducing the income of traders, especially food traders. The influence that traders feel the most at the Balai Kurai Taji market is the implementation of the social distancing policy issued by the Indonesian Government. As a result, some traders are confused and their income is threatened with a severe deficit. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, it can be seen that the value of tcount = 7.25 > ttable ( = 0.05/20) = 1.69. This means that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, thus the hypothesis that there is an impact of covid 19 on the income of traders, meaning that the income of traders before covid 19 is greater than after covid 19.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the existing conditions of the mainland zone if viewed from the slope, relative relief, land cover, wetness dan lithology criteria. (2) know the zoning of landslides in DAS Kampar Hulu. This is quantitative research with spatial descriptive approarch. The method that used to determine the existing conditions in DAS Kampar Hulu by using GIS application namely Arcgis 10.8 to do various processing, then a multi criteria evaluation was used to analysis the landslide hazard zonation with Analytical Hierarchy Process calculations. Based on the result of the study it is know that 1) the existing condition of the slope at DAS Kampar Hulu who dominant is a very gentle slope or < 15°; relative relief is devided into thre classes, the distribution of which is low class located in Pangkalan Koto Baru District, precisely in Nagari Pangkalan, Tanjung Pauh and Tanjung Balik; then medium class is spread out in Bukti Barisan subdistrict, namely Nagari Maek, Kapur IX district and Pangkalan Koto Baru district, Pricisely in Nagari Gunuang Malintang, Koto Alam, Pangkalan, Tanjung Pauh, dan Tanjung Balik; The dominant land cover criteria (vegetation density) are dense class land cover; wetnees criteria in general, the conditions in DAS Kampar hulu are described as humid, partly wet, flowing and seeping, but dry at the border of Bukit Barisan and Kapur IX Districts; The lithological criteria in DAS Kampar Hulu constist of various rock formations including the Tandung Kumbang, Telukkido, Bahorok, Tanjung Pauh members, Kuantan, Piedmont fans, Alam City Volcano, Pematang, Ombilin, Sihapas dan Amas Volcano 2) Landslide hazard zoning in DAS Kampar Hulu consist of three levels, namely a high hazard level with an area of 13,41% of the total area of the study, a moderate hazard level with an area of 48,14% and a dominant level and finallu a low hazaed level with an area od 38.45% of the total research area.

Abstract

Placement of waste management locations in TPA Batubola which is not far from settlements, rivers and also in hills that are higher than rivers and settlements. Condition of TPA Batubola Garbage is an object that is no longer needed by humans, has limitations and does not meet the criteria for location placement The landfill actually causes damage to the surrounding environment. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Batubola landfill on public health in Batunadua Village, Padangsidimpuan District, Batunadua, Padangsidimpuan City. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the community, with a total of 165 respondents, the Batunadua area was divided into two, namely Batunadua Jae and Batunadua Julu. 24.6% while Batunadua Julu whose knowledge level is Good 23.0%, Adequate 53.3% and Less 23.6%. The results of the level of knowledge that the Batunadua community is classified as moderately knowledgeable. Then the health problems in Batunadua consist of Diarrhea 19, 3%, Itching 36.9%, Hepatitis A 2.42%. DHF 17.5%, Cough 20% and shortness of breath 63%. This is presumably due to damaged environmental conditions caused by TPA Batubola, due to TPA Batubola will cause environmental pollution that has an impact on public health in Batunadua.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to (1)To find out the threat level of fire disasters in Bukittinggi City (2) To map the distribution of areas that have a fire threat level in Bukittinggi City (3) To find out the factors that cause fires in Bukitttinggi City. Research method used is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study are by means of observation, interview and literature studies. Data analysis techniques that are used is scoring analysis, the result of this study is (1) The fire threat level in Bukittinggi City is divided into 3 classes, namely High, Medium and Low threat classes. (2) Spread of fire threat level in Bukittinggi City there are 2 subdistricts with the number of 9 villages that are at a high threat level and 3 subdistricts with the number of 9 villages that are at medium threat level and 2 subdistricts with a total of 6 subdistricts at low threat level (3) For the fire cause factor itself there are 3 factors causing fires, namely short circuit of listic currents , gas and stove leaks and public negligence Keywords : Mapping, Disaster, Fire

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to. knowing the level of community participation in reducing risk. flood disasters such as when the rainy season will come or pre-flood disasters in Depati Tujuh District. Kerinci. The type of research approach in this thesis uses a quantitative research approach. Data collection techniques in this study are using questionnaires and document studies. The informants involved in this research are 10 heads of families. of the 4 villages that researchers consider to be the worst affected by the flood, namely Koto Lanang Village, Ladeh Village, Baru Kubang Hamlet and Lubuk Suli Village. So the total sample is 40 households. The results of the study. From this it can be seen that the level of community participation in reducing disaster risk. Floods in Depati Tujuh Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency, are high, namely 85% of the total respondents and the form of citizen participation in this. reduce the risk of flooding in Depati District. The seven districts of Kerinci are managing waste disposal, cleaning drainage channels, repairing forts or embankments and. plant Trees.

Abstract

The purpose of research is (1) to determine the location of the occurrence of landslides in 2016-2021. (2) knowing the dominant factor of landslide using R programming. (3) knowing the landslide susceptibility area in Akabiluru District. The variables used are the point of occurrence of landslides, slope, slope direction, source rock, soil type, rainfall, land use, vegetation density and landform. The landslide point is divided into 50% test data and 50% train data. The method used is bivariate statistics assisted by the R programming language. The results of the study are that there are 30 points of landslide occurrence from 2016-2021 which are spread in Akabiluru District. Factors dominant the occurrence of landslides are slope with AUC 0.78, land use with AUC 0.72, source rock with AUC 0.69, landforms with AUC 0.68, aspect with AUC 0.71, soil type with AUC 0.65. From the total WoE calculation, the AUC value is 0.75 and produces a map of the landslide susceptibility zone which consists of 4 classes, namely high class (20.84%), middle class (26.35%), low class (25.74%) and very low class (27.07% ).

Abstract

One of the natural disasters that often occurs is landslides. Factors that cause landslides are geology, vegetation density, slope, slope direction, lithology type, and rainfall. Also related to the human factor in terms of land use. The case study of this research is Suliki District. The help of the Python programming language in GIS is able to create a model that aims to lighten and simplify the steps of spatial analysis. To create a landslide susceptibility model, the researchers used the Weight of Evidence (WoE) weighting method. The data used in this study were 30 random ground motion events. The data is divided into two groups of data, 60% is used as analysis data that functions for the preparation of the model and 40% is used as validation data for model testing. The research procedure includes the weighting of eight parameters that are considered as triggers for landslides. The results of the model test show the AUC value of 0.82. The use of Python programming language with bivariate statistical methods can run well according to the expected results.

Abstract

Statistical analysis assessment of landslide susceptibility has become one of the topics of research that is currently developing. Several types of parameters are thought to be the factors responsible for the occurrence of ground movement. However, some data types and models are specific and cannot be implemented in different locations. What's more, the data stored in some parameters is divided into several classes, depending on the goals and vision of the researcher. This study presents a step in identifying the best variables to find the level of vulnerability to landslides using bivariate techniques (Weight of Evidence, WoE). The location of this research is an area prone to landslides which cause a lot of losses, so this research is expected to be a material consideration for interested parties.
