Abstract

Netflix released a drama series entitled "All of Us Are Dead" which tells the story of a group of teenagers who are trying to save themselves from being chased by zombies that occur at their school. At first their friendship was established because of circumstances, but because they were often together made them closer and believed in each other, so they were willing to sacrifice themselves so that their friends could survive the zombies. The focus of the problem in this study is how the meaning of friendship in the drama all of us are dead with the aim of research to determine the meaning of friendship in the drama all of us are dead contained in episodes 1 and 2. In this study the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research type with the presentation of Charles semiotics Sanders Peirce and Aristotle's concept of friendship, and for data collection techniques, researchers used observation and documentation and the validity of the data used was a triangulation technique based on theory. This study analyzed 33 scenes in which 9 scenes were analyzed using Charles Sander Peirce's semiotics with the results of the study found 4 meanings of friendship, namely 1) togetherness, 2) caring, 3) cooperation, and 4) always being there under any circumstances. And 22 scenes grouped together based on Aristotle's notion of friendship, namely: 1) Friendship Based on Need or Utility (Utinity): Overcoming Fear and Doubt. 2) Friendship based on pleasure (Pleasure): A friendship between two people who share the same interests or jokes. 3) Friendship of Kindness or Virtue (Virtue): The friendship that exists between them becomes more and more intimate through trust, understanding and self-sacrifice. They do not hesitate to give advice and advice so that their friends will not be afraid or sad. they reinforce each other. The care shown through love and affection makes a person feel valued and cherished.

Abstract

The focus of this research is how is the PR strategy in maintaining the image of Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to determine the strategies used by the public relations of the Al-Qodiri 1 Jember Islamic boarding school in maintaining its image. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected from observations, interviews and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed and described and conclusions drawn. There are several strategies found by researchers in maintaining the image of Islamic boarding schools and are the results of this research, including: Strategy through alumni, making events such as dzikir manaqib events, putting up banners, working with PT. Seaven Dream Group, adding learning facilities, makes students able to compete at the national and international levels and also uploads Islamic boarding school achievements.

Abstract

Film is not only a medium of entertainment, but also has an element of learning in it, including the film "Layangan Putus" which tells about the realities of household life so that this film is in great demand among housewives. This research was conducted in Ledok Village, Jember Lor District, Kec. Kaliwates. The focus of the research is "How are the perceptions of the mothers of Ledok Village Rt. 3 RW. 6, Kelurahan Jember Kidul for the film “Layangan Putus”. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type, data collection techniques including; observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of the data researchers used the Miles Huberman model which included data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and the validity of the data used was technique and source triangulation. The results of the study showed that mothers' interest in the film Layangan Putus was because the storyline presented by the film was quite good and viral on social media. The mothers also admitted that they were carried away emotionally while watching the film. Mothers also perceive from the film that they are honest and open to each other in the household so that the relationship does not end in separation

The title of this study is "Marketing Communication Strategy of Suweg Lapis Genggong in Increasing Selling Power in Maron District, Probolinggo Regency (Descriptive Study of Instagram Digital Marketing of Suweg Lapis Genggong Products). In the current era, the development of technology and information is fast and significant so that it can be used by anyone at any time with creative and innovative works. It can be used to communicate with anyone without a time limit. Along with the development of time, there is a term, namely new media or what we often call new media, this is very interesting because it can be used to convey information more easily. An example of this new media is the emergence of various social media, one of which is Instagram. nstagram so that Instagram social media has become one of the favorite social media. Abstract

Social media marketing that is done online has emerged as a means of communication that is rife today, namely by shopping via the internet. One of the social media platforms used is Instagram by utilizing Instagram as a social media platform is a marketing strategy that has been successful in benefiting its users. The focus of the problem of this research is to explain how the marketing communication strategy through Instagram is carried out by Rengganis Basic. While the purpose of this study is to find out how the marketing communication strategy through Instagram is carried out. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing the practice of buying and selling online. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The results of this study are that the communication process carried out in marketing its products through Instagram social media is by implementing a communication strategy that includes communication components (sources, messages, media, recipients, effects, feedback), applying the 4P marketing principles (product, price, place, promotion) The marketing communication strategy used by @rengganis_basic through Instagram includes determining target consumers, marketing content, using attractive images, good response to customers and promotions or discounts on Instagram.

Abstract

Avatar 2 (Avatar: The Way of Water) is a film made by director James Cameron and this film is the second sequel to the first Avatar released in 2009. This film tells how Jake Sully and his family are targeted by Colonel Miles Quaritch. Jake Sully, who is also the leader of the Omatikaya tribe, puts Jake Sully in a pinch when he has to protect all members of the tribe and their families. The focus of the research problem is how to represent the role of the family in the film Avatar 2. The aim is to find out the representation of the role of the family in the film Avatar 2. By using a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Observation data collection and documentation with analysis of data reduction, data presentation, data verification and Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic theory. The results of this research are: As a patriarchal family, this film describes a consensual type family. Parents educate the attitude of discipline, responsibility and can perform their potential skills. The father's role is to be a role model for his family members. Father is a good listener and a motivator. The role of older siblings is educated parents to have a sense of responsibility and confidence. This film adheres to several types of families depending on conditions, such as being democratic or authoritarian. On the other hand, there are also pluralistic and laissez faire or mixed characteristics.

Abstract

The film's message is a mechanism for signs that take the form of the message's contents, sound, or other elements in the brain of humans, language, dialogue, and others. Films cannot influence people to change attitudes, but films are quite influential on what people think, especially about something that is considered important, then it is chosen or even rejected according to personality factors that exist in society. This study uses Roland Barthes semiotic analysis method and also uses semiotic analysis theory to obtain an overview of the meaning of tolerance in the film Dancing In The Rain. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Observations in this study were carried out by direct observation of research subjects, namely observation of audio-visual and images that have a meaning of tolerance in the film Dancing In The Rain. The Documentation Method is carried out by collecting relevant data such as the synopsis of the film, the trailer of the film. This study also found pieces of scenes that have a meaning of tolerance which the author analyzes using Analysis of Semiotics by Roland Barthes. The writer has discussed the denotation, connotation, & myth of the movie in the findings chapter.There are 3 meanings of tolerance in this film, namely helping, caring, and compassion, while intolerance in this film is scolding and bullying. This study recommends other research examining films and content that contains tolerance and society.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh akun Instagram Eres Graphic dalam meningkatkan penjualan jasa ilustrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital yang digunakan oleh Eres Graphic dalam meningkatkan penjualan jasa ilustrasi di Instagram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengacu pada teori pemasaran yang diungkapkan oleh Kotler tentang segmentasi, targeting, dan positioning. Penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara dengan tim Eres Graphic dan analisis konten visual yang diposting di akun Instagram. Data sekunder juga dikumpulkan melalui kajian pustaka dan analisis terkait strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Eres Graphic menerapkan strategi pemasaran dengan menerapkan segmentasi, targeting, dan positioning secara efektif. Dalam pemasaran digital, Eres Graphic memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai platform untuk memasarkan jasa ilustrasi dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang ada. Dengan menerapkan strategi pemasaran digital ini, Eres Graphic berhasil meningkatkan penjualan jasa ilustrasi di Instagram.

Abstract

Balancing technological developments and seeing the increasingly diverse competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools because the number of Islamic boarding schools continues to increase every year, for this reason, the Asy-Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School also has a strategy in promoting its Islamic boarding schools. The research focus in this thesis is: (1). What is the public relations strategy via WhatsApp to promote the Sukorejo Bangsalsari Asy-Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School? (2). Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the Public Relations Strategy via Whatsapp to promote the Asy-Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Bangsalsari Islamic Boarding School?. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type and data was collected using observation methods carried out in the field, interviews also carried out in the field, and documentation made in the field. Utilization of Islamic boarding school Public Relations which can help, build and maintain communication between the Islamic boarding school and its public.The results of this research show the Islamic boarding school's public relations strategy in involving public relations and Islamic boarding school alumni to promote Islamic boarding schools using WhatsApp social media. In promoting Islamic boarding schools, public relations and Islamic boarding school alumni form Jami'ah or Islamic boarding school management groups. . Utilizing Whatsapp social media is very effective in promoting Islamic boarding schools. And it can also build good communication between alumni and Islamic boarding school administrators. Alumni maintain good relations with the Islamic boarding school, and also participate in boarding school activities. Then, alumni promote the boarding school by joining the WhatsApp group of the boarding school and the Asy-syai'iyah administrators on each alumni's social media, and holding special alumni events at the boarding school and outside the boarding school. By using WhatsApp social media for alumni and Islamic boarding school administrators, it is easier to promote Islamic boarding schools to the public.

Abstract

Nowadays, da'wah activities cannot only be carried out conventionally, but can be carried out through various media. One of them is through social media YouTube. YouTube is a popular and spectacular social media platform, which can upload or share videos. Da'wah on social media via YouTube channels has become a phenomenon that occurs among preachers. This is what makes researchers want to know how effective YouTube is as a medium for da'wah for female students at the Nyai Zainab Shiddiq Jember Islamic Islamic Boarding School. The focus of the research examined in this thesis is: (1) What is the effectiveness of YouTube as a medium for da'wah for female students at the Nyai Zainab Siddiq Jember Islamic boarding school? (2) How is the analysis of the da'wah messages conveyed by the female students of the Nyai Zainab Shiddiq Islamic Islamic Boarding School in Jember? Da'wah message delivered by the female students of the Nyai Zainab Shiddiq Jember Islamic Islamic Boarding School? The method in the research results uses qualitative research methods. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. And the validity of the data uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. From the results of this research, the author can conclude that preaching using YouTube social media is very effective, because it can provide Islamic religious teachings through tausiyah given by preachers to students, alumni and also the wider community, apart from that it can also promote Islamic boarding schools through activities preaching, so that now without using bulletins the public can find out the preaching message conveyed by PPI female student Nyai Zainab Shiddiq Jember.
