Abstract

This study aims at determining whether the system of rewards and motivation affect the work performance of employees at PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Medan. The hypothesis is the reward and motivation system influences employee work performance. The population is all employees, amounting to 35 people with a sample of 35 people. The analytical method is the analysis of Multiple Linear Regression, t-test, F-test and Determination test. The results of this study indicate that the equation of Multiple Linear Regression Y = 0.615 + 0.666X1 + 0.572X2, which means that the reward and motivation system has a positive effect on employee performance. Based on the t-test showed a positive and significant effect, it was seen that the significance for the effect of X1 on Y was 0.010 < 0.05, tvalue 2.732> ttable 2.037. The effect of X2 on Y is 0.001 < 0.05, tcount value of 3.763 > ttable 2.037, which means that if the reward and motivation system is improved then the employee's work performance will increase. Based on the F test shows that the reward and motivation system simultaneously and significantly influence employee performance where Fcount 70.548 > Ftable 3.29, and the significance value (0.000 < 0.05). And the results of the coefficient of determination test on Adjusted Rsquare of 0.804 which means that the reward and motivation system is able to explain the increase in employee performance by 80.4% the remaining 19.6% is explained by other variables.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Keselamatan Kerja dan Kesehatan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Medan Bus Transport (Trans Metro Deli). Populasi berjumlah 185 orang dengan sampel 65 orang menggunakan metode pengamatan, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Jenis model regresi yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dimana Y = 50,885 + 0,368X1 + 0,054X2, kemudian data diproses menggunakan SPSS versi 24.0. Uji-t nilai signifikan variabel keselamatan kerja (X1) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) 0,005 < 0,05. Nilai thitung 2.931 > ttabel 1,999. Sedangkan nilai signifikan variabel kesehatan kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) 0,238 > 0,05 dan nilai thitung 1,191 < ttabel 1,999, artinya variabel kesehatan kerja (X2) secara signifikan parsial tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap Y maka butuh sampel yang lebih besar untuk membuktikan hubungan antara variabel. Hasil uji-F di dapat nilai Fhitung 4,284 > Ftabel 3,15 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,018 < 0,05. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa nilai adjusted R square adalah 0,093, artinya variabel keselamatan kerja (X1) dan variabel X2 secara bersama-sama hanya memiliki pengaruh 9,3% terhadap variabel Y. Sedangkan 90,7% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diuji dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims at determining whether motivation and compensation affect on employee performance at PT. Arier Rekayasa Nusantara. The hypothesis in this study is "Motivation and compensation have a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Arier Rekayasa Nusantara”. The data collection method used by the writer is Field Research. The sample in this study amounted to 30 employees. This study uses a multiple linear regression analysis model. The results of this study indicate a multiple linear regression equation where Y = 5.532 + 0.655X1 + 0.288X2, which means motivation and compensation have a positive effect on employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination test on R square of 0.635 means 63.5% Motivation variable can be explained by the Employee Compensation and Performance variables while the remaining 32.5% can be explained by other factors not examined by this study. The results on the simultaneous test (Test F) can be seen that the value of Fcount 23.516 > F table 3.34. This determines that the independent variables consisting of independent variables motivation and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable, namely employee performance at PT. Arier Rekayasa Nusantara.

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan disiplin kerja karyawan diperlukan adanya suatu gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi karyawan agar disiplin kerja dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja secara simultan terhadap disiplin karyawan pada PT. Mitra Petra Sejahtera Medan.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif. teknik pengumpulan data penelitian kepuatakaan dan penelitian lapangan, digunakan sampel sebanyak 47 responden. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji validasi, uji realibilitas, uji regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis yaitu uji T dan uji F. Hasil regesi linier berganda Y = 22.404 + 4.018 + 0,933 + e menunjukkan variabel gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja t hitung > t tabel (4.018 > 2,012 ).Variabel motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja dengan thitung < t tabel (0,933 < 2,012). Saran yangdiberikan kepada PT.Mitra Petra Sejahtera meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja karyawan agar semua tujuan yang hendak dicapai suatu perusahaan dapat terwujud

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengulas tentang pengaruh dari inflasi dan pengangguran terhadap pendapatan perkapita pada 5 (lima) kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Kelima kota tersebut meliputi Sibolga, Pematang Siantar, Medan, Padang Sidempuan dan Gunung Sitoli. Data dari daerah tersebut tersedia pada website BPS dan Bank Indonesia, yang digunakan penulis sebagai data sekunder. Tulisan ini adalah untuk kepentingan ilmiah semata demi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan tentang inflasi dan pengangguran serta pengaruhnya terhadap pendapatan perkapita.Adanya pandemic covid-19 melambatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi secara keseluruhan karena pembatasan aktivitas kegiatan masyarakat diluar rumah yang dikenal dengan istilah lockdown yang mengakibatkan sebagian masyarakat kehilangan pekerjaan yang sekaligus berdampak pada pendapatan yang diterimanya secara rill.

Abstract

This study aims at finding whether there is an influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of Medan KPKNL employees. The hypothesis is that there is motivation and work environment motivation for the performance of KPKNL Medan employees. The sample used in this study is a saturated sample, which uses all members of the population as a sample obtained by 36 people, using the data collection methods Observation, Interview and Questionnaire. The method used by the author is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Method, Classic Assumption Test, Coefficient Test, F Test and Determination Coefficient Test (R2). The results obtained from the regression equation obtained are Y = 15.866 + 0.424X1 + 0.069X2, which means that the significant performance of employees in Medan KPKNL. These results were obtained based on t count (2,210)> t table values ​​(1,690) and a significance value of 0.034 <0.05 was obtained. There is no influence of the work environment on employee performance in the Medan KNPL. These results are known because t value (0.342) < t table value (1.690) and found the significance value of 0.735 > 0.05. Simultaneously motivation and work environment on affect employee performance in KPKNL Medan. These results are known from the calculation of F value (6.795) greater than the F table value (3.28), while the significance value obtained is 0.003 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination obtained is 0.249 which means that 24.9% of the Performance of Medan KPKNL Employees (Y) is required by variations of the two independent variables, namely Motivation (X1) and Work Environment (X2) while the remaining 75.1% was influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh total hutang dan perputaran persediaan secara parsial dan simultan terhadap laba bersih pada perusahaan sub sektor industri logam yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Penelitian ini, adalah penelitian kuantitatif yaitu data yang berbentuk angka. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari website Bursa Efek Indonesia yaitu: www.bei.go.id. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data yang diambil dari perusahaan sub sektor industri logam yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data sekunder yang digunakan adalah data laporan keuangan mulai tahun 2018 – 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 16 perusahaan dengan 3 tahun laporan keuangan, sehingga terdapat 48 sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel independen yang terdiri dari total hutang dan perputaran persediaan, sedangkan, sedangkan variabel dependennya yaitu laba bersih. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa total hutang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba bersih pada perusahaan sub sektor industri logam yang terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2018 – 2020.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the effect of Motivation and Work Discipline variables on Employee Work Productivity at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. The hypothesis used in this study is that there is the influence of Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Work Productivity on PTPN III (Persero) Medan. The population at PTPN III (Medan) is 400 people, with a total sample of 80 people. The regression equation obtained is Y = 2.517 + 0.073X1 + 0.363X2. Based on the test results R Square results of 0.471 was obtained which means that Motivation (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) have on the Employee Productivity variable of 47.1% . Based on the results of the t-test (partial) and F test (simultaneous) the results obtained Motivation variable (X1), t count 2.333> t table 1.991 with a significance level of 0.035 < 0.05. Motivation has a positive effect on employee work productivity. Working Discipline Variable (X2), t arithmetic = 2.216> t table = 1.991 with a significance level of 0.028 < 0.05. Work discipline has a positive effect on employee work productivity. Variable Motivation (X1) and Work Discipline (X2), F count 4.007> F table 3.110 with a significance level of 0.022 < 0.05. It can be summarized that Motivation and Work Discipline together have positive effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the effect of corporate governance, profitability, leverage and corporate value on tax avoidance in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2017 - 2019. Applying tax regulation correctly and appropriately is an efficient business in achieving profit. There are two tax managements, namely tax avoidance and tax evasion. In this study, researchers examined the tax avoidance section. This research was conducted on chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange period 2017 - 2019. The population in this study is all chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange as many as 26 companies. The sampling technique in this study uses a census, where all populations are sampled. The testing method in this study uses the classic assumption test and linear regression. The results of this study indicate that profitability and leverage have a significant relationship to tax avoidance, while corporate governance and corporate value do not have a significant relationship to tax avoidance on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims at finding the effect of work motivation and Management Information Systems (SIM) on employee performance at BPJS (Social Security Organizing Agency) Medan Branch Employment. Quantitative research is used in this study. The population of this research is all employees of BPJS (Social Security Organizing Agency) Medan Branch Employment with a sample of 60 employees. The analytical method used in this study is the normality test, the multiple regression analysis test and the hypothesis test. T test results of work motivation variable tcount > ttable (4.683> 2.010) and sig value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), it can be concluded that work motivation variable is partially significant and positive to support employee performance. On the value of management information system variables count > t table (4,727 > 2,010) and sig value> 0,05 (0,000 > 0,05), so it can be concluded that the Management Information System variable partially has a significant and positive effect on Employee Performance. In the F test results Obtained F value of 77.754 > F table 2.79 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 because the regression model variable Work Motivation (X1) and Management Information Systems (X2) together related to Employee Performance variables (Y). Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination can be seen in the value of R Square of 0.722 or 72.2% of employee performance variables of 27.8% needed by other factors outside this research variables such as work variables, personal factors, leadership style.
