<![CDATA[Basically, literary works are works that are written in beautiful and orderly language. According to Taum (1997) literature is a form of creation or fiction that is imaginative and uses beautiful language and its presence can be used for other things. One example of a form of literary work is poetry. Poetry is a literary work of high value. Poetry is a literary work that is created as an expression of the wishes, circumstances, and feelings of the author as outlined in poetry (Putu Sudarma 2019). This study discusses the study of a literary work of poetry entitled "But" by Sutardji Calzoum. Bachri. The purpose of this research is to analyze the structure of the poem "But" by Sutardji Calzoum Bachri. Structural Analysis is a tool for studying poetry based on the structure that builds poetry. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The technique in presenting data is based on objective reality by examining poetry. In this case, the building blocks of poetry are the physical structure and the inner structure. The physical structure consists of the form of poetry, diction, concrete words, figurative language and imagery. Meanwhile, the inner structure that is analyzed in poetry is in the form of theme, tone, atmosphere and message. Both of these structures are the forming elements of the creation of poetry.]]>

<![CDATA[Poetry research can be defined as the result of research or the process of analyzing poetry. Poetry is one type of literary genre that expresses the poet's feelings. The series of words are beautiful, contain deep meaning and touch the hearts of the readers. This research aims to know and describe the physical structure and inner structure of poetry contained in the poem Aku Ingin by Sapardi Djoko Damono with a structural approach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, namely science that aims to describe the deep and intact content in the poem "Aku Ingin" by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The approach used is a structural approach, a structural approach tries to examine poetry into elements or structures that build and function. The data collection technique used is reading literature. The result of this research is the discovery of the entire physical structure and inner structure in the poem Aku Ingin. Physical structure in the form of poetry form, diction, language style, concrete words, imagery. While the inner structure in the form of theme, tone, atmosphere, and mandate.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses the semiotic analysis of the poem "Sepantun Laut" by J.E Tatengkeng. Semiotic analysis is an analytical method that examines a sign contained in an object to find out the meaning contained in the object. Semiotics or in Barthes' terms, semiology, basically wants to study how humanity uses things. According to Lechte (in Sobur, 2003, p. 16), Semiotics is a theory about signs and marking. The purpose of semiotic analysis in the poem "Sepantun Laut" by J.E Tatengkeng is to find out the meaning contained in each sign contained in the poem "Sepantun Laut" by J.E Tatengkeng. The discussion in this article relates to the elements of icons, symbols, and indexes as stated by Pierce which will later produce the overall meaning. The poem "Sepantun Laut" means feelings full of hope, sad and mixed feelings.]]>

<![CDATA[Literary works are arts that have elements of mind, imagination, and emotion. In addition, it is also referred to as creative work that is used as intellectual and emotional consumption. Poetry is a type of literature with language bound by rhythm, rhyme, and the arrangement of stanzas and arrays. Poetry is able to express the emotions and experiences of memorable writers and then poured into a rhyming language style so that it is more interesting to read. The author is interested in analyzing the poem "Dusk in a Small Port" by Chairil Anwar, because the poem is formed with a simple language order but broad meaning. The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning in poetry by Chairil Anwar and to improve the author's understanding of structural approaches. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method that examines and then describes the meaning of the poem "Dusk in a Small Port" by Chairil Anwar with a structural approach. The structural approach is an approach in literature whose way of working is to analyze the structural elements that build literary works from within, and look for relationships or relationships between elements of one element with another in order to achieve roundness of meaning. based on the analysis of the poem "Dusk in the Small Port", it can be concluded.]]>

<![CDATA[Poetry is one of the literary genres that expresses feelings. Poetry is a poet's interpretation of life. The interpretation reflects the poet's view of the surrounding reality. Therefore poetry is a form of outpouring of thoughts and feelings poet to the reality of life. The reason the author analyzed the poem by Chairil Anwar entitled "Acceptance" is to understand and also capture the meaning of the poem "Acceptance" by Chairil Anwar. In analyzing this poem, the author uses a structural approach. To analyze poetry using a structural approach requires a basic understanding of the structure or elements that make up the poem itself.]]>

<![CDATA[Poetry is one type of literary work that has the deepest literary statement. The words that are raised contain deep understanding and are full of symbols. Reading poetry is a pleasure of literary art because the reader is brought along into the statements that a poet pours out through the lines of his poem. In the Big Dictionary Indonesian it is stated that poetry is a variety of literature whose language is bound by rhythm, matra, rhyme, and the arrangement of arrays and couplets.1Rahmat Djoko Pradopo gives the definition of poetry as a bound essay. The limitations of the poem are based on the attachment to (1) Many lines in each stanza, (2) Many words in each line, (3) Many syllables in each line, (4) Rhyme, and (5) Rhythm. Researchers are interested in conducting research on analyzing a poem by Sapardi Djoko Damono entitled "Hatiku Selembar Daun" by applying it through a semiotic approach. Semiotics is an analytical method used to explore the meaning contained in a sign. According to Susanne Langer "judging symbols or signs is important, animal life is mediated through feelings, but human feelings are mediated by concepts, symbols, and language." Semiotics is the study of how to give meaning to a sign. Semiotics can also be interpreted as the concept of teaching humans to interpret the signs that exist on a particular object. After going through the process of discussing the poem and paying attention semiotically, you will know about the meaning and linguistic signs contained in the poem Hatiku Selembar Daun so that it is conveyed to the reader.]]>

<![CDATA[Poetry is a form of fiction that contains an implied meaning. Poetry can motivate writing lovers, especially readers who are interested in reading something that has meaning and meaning implied in it from a poem through analysis. Based on previous understanding or exposure, the author is interested in conducting a study, namely analyzing Anwar Maulana's poem entitled "I Love You Secretly" using an intertextual approach. The results of the analysis of the reading of this poem include heuristic reading, hermeneutic reading, matrix determination, model and meaning. The matrix in the poem "I Love You Secretly" is I love you secretly, the model is relationship and romance, the meaning of this poem is sincerity and eternal love which cannot be seen from a person's physique but seen from the sincerity of his heart. The results of the study of the intertextual relations of the two poems include the relationship between the structure of the poem, the relationship of the matrix, the relationship of the model, the relationship of meaning, and the hypogram.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the author's admiration for Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi's work and the author's interest in analyzing one of the poems as extraordinary material because there are many meanings and implied signs that need to be studied for meaning. The purpose of this study is to examine meaningfulness based on signs contained in one of Jalaluddin Rumi's poems entitled "Death and the Mystical Tomb" using a semiotic approach. The semiotic approach is an approach by examining literary works based on their signs, these signs represent other things, not actual things. Therefore, the semiotic approach in poetry will clarify the meaning that has been a sign in the expression of a poet. . The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, which is a method that explains and describes the results of poetry analysis based on the data obtained. This study focuses on the discussion of the marks that appear in the poem "Death and the Mystical Tomb" by Jalaluddin Rumi which is then analyzed, so as to show signs that represent the meaning of the poem. The poem entitled "Death and the Mystical Tomb" by Jalaluddin Rumi is closely related to self-awareness of love for God. In the poem it can be concluded that there are many meanings implied through signs and signs in the form of symbols and icons only, which in its meaning leads to the existence of God's love which manifests in the beauty of the heart as a sign of life.]]>
