Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students' interest in PAK class VII at SMPN 3 Tualang using the outdoor study method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This Classroom Action Research was conducted at SMPN 3 Tualang, Tualang District, Siak Regency, for the 2022 academic year. In this study, the authors used the Jigsaw model with the aim of improving or increasing student learning outcomes. Effectiveness of learning Christian Religious Education through the out door study method can increase the learning interest of class VII students of SMPN 3 Tualang so that student learning outcomes increase in the 2022 school year. completed with an average of 70 and not completely completed. Improvements were made in cycle II. In this cycle there was a high increase, out of 15 students only 1 student did not reach the KKM: 75. with an average acquisition of 81.

Abstract

This study investigates whether the use of the Problem-Based Learning model on the Three Variable Linear Equation System increases student learning outcomes. This investigation is quasi-experimental "Quasi Experimental Design". Class X-A as an experimental class with 17 students and X-B as a control class with 17 students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano in the odd semester of the academic year 2022/2023 comprised the study's sample. An evaluation about the material description of a three-variable system of linear equations served as the research instrument. A pretest and a posttest are used to capture data from the experimental and control groups, respectively. Using the t-test statistic to test the null hypothesis, we obtain tcount = 12.64 and ttable = 2.037 at a significance level of 0.05, thus rejecting H0. The Problem-Based Learning model improved student learning outcomes, according to the study's findings.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the poetry writing skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Binjai before using the outdoor study method; (2) Analyzing the skills of writing poetry texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Binjai after using the outdoor study method; (3) to analyze the effect of the outdoor study method on the skills of writing poetry texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data by testing the analysis requirements, homogeneity test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average value of the students' poetry writing skills before using the outdoor study method was 54.55. The average score obtained by students after using the outdoor study method is 82.64% and is classified as good. Based on the results of the t test that has been carried out, it is obtained at a significant level a = 0.05, the ttable value is 2.03 and the result is tcount = 11.37. Then tcount ˃ ttable is 11.37 > 2.03, so that ho (null hypothesis) is rejected and ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. Overall, it can be concluded that teaching using the outdoor study method has a positive effect on the results of the skills of writing poetry texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Binjai.
