Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine and design the Wide Area Network (WAN) at PT. XYZ. The method used is the method of analysis that includes field surveys, interviews with administrators, library research, design and simulation, and evaluation. The design and simulation of the network used is Dynamips and OPNET Network Simulator. Based on the comparison of WAN technology and the needs of users is obtained that the Frame Relay technology suitable for connecting headquarters with branch offices in PT. XYZ. Based on simulation of routing protocol comparison has been done it can result EIGRP smallest impact on Frame Relay in terms of bandwidth usage, summarization would reduce the size of routing updates and load balancing to set the path, so that the data transmission time of data transmission becomes more efficient. The conclusions that can be drawn from the results of the evaluation is, the use of Frame Relay and Routing Protocol EIGRP allows network in PT. XYZ to evolve and adapt according to the needs

Abstract

Information and communication technology has recently grown rapidly. It has also penetrated into all areas, from culinary, health, medical, personal interests, and entertainment. It can be seen from the usage of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other gadgets. Their growth was supported continuously by new innovations from hardware and software developers. The purposes of this research are making the business process of the fitness center become more efficient, and establishing a good relationship with its members. Data was collected from provided documents of the company. The business process was directly observed. Interviews was held with all parties who associated with the business processes at Body Fit Station. Interviews explore recently running business processes and find out the existing problems, as well as how member’s opinions about the business processes at Body Fit Station. The conclusion from this research is, after the implementation of management information system based on SMS gateway make the members can find updated information easily. On the other side, the manager and the owner can view the reports more detail and accurate

Abstract

Along with the times, computers are widely used in various fields. For example in the fields of automotive, health and so on. One of the utilization of technology that it can be used as an expert system. One implementation of expert systems in the automotive field is to know the problems in the engine. The problems that exist in the user manual Toyota is a Toyota less know about how to care and repair engine components present in Toyota car, Toyota symptoms data often is not known at all by the user so that the user's Toyota car Toyota's detriment users itself. The method used in this study is an analysis method that uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). Meanwhile, the software created using the programming language PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) with the MySQL database system. The results of this study is a useful system for analysis and decision-making to helps knowing the context of a car engine. In addition, this system serves to minimize the damage error analysis done by the engine mechanics. The conclusion of this study is the program can be used by mechanics and Toyota car users to help  learning the diagnose process of Toyota car damage.

Abstract

Nowadays, information technology has rapidly develop. Hardware, software and information technology has develop. Right now, either big companies or small companies need information system to increase their performance in doing their daily activities. Executive information system on Mei Pastel is created with VB.NET programming language and using Microsoft Access database. The author used VB.NET because wanted to create a powerfull and easy-to-use software.  On this study, data collection was done by direct-interview  with the owner of the company. The system used in the company was not computerized system. The system development used in this study is System Development Life Cycle.This research produced an executive information system software that will be used on Mei Pastel and can be accessed if the computer is connected to the company’s router. With this software, Mei Pastel’s executive can oversee important data and can help them in decision making. From this study it can be concluded that executive information system that is used on Mei Pastel is helping the owner to control and help decision making on Mei Pastel.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of how difficult is to plan a meeting and alse the differences between operating systems make developers hard to develop an application and user to get an application. Researcher apply the concept of a hybrid application to create an application using web technology so it can run on any operating system. Through a hybrid application, developer can target an application to a wider market and user can find these applications with ease. Researcher conduct direct observation, distributing questionnaires to the targeted respondents and conduct a literature review of the previous studies that have the same topic and a patent on the application of the current meetup application that had been circulated. Researcher also cite several books that discuss the development of mobile applications and hybrid applications. The findings that researcher get include of the difficulties felt by the user of meetup application that circulated such as application are incompatible with the operating system used, the absence of tracking features and not allowing members to add a reminder to the device’s calendar. Through a process of research that has researcher run and the application development process that has taken place, the researcher concluded that the application is able to simplify the process planning a meetup and members to attend the meeting.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, information and communication technologies have a role in developing the company's business; no exception to the event organizer. In addition to assisting the customer in performing the desired activity, can also help in human resource constraints and the time customers. Outbound organizer application is developed by using programming language based Visual Basic.Net. On the other hand, database is using a MySQL with a connection to the database server using XAMPP.  This research was conducted by using literature, interviews, and direct observation to PT Dua Beruang. The owner describe all the problems and needs of the author. While the development of the system used was the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). The findings of this research state are generating an outbound application organizer that can help companies in managing business processes, managing master data information, the data collection activities of resource allocation outbound, outbound packet ordering, and reports that help management companies in making tactical and strategic decisions. The conclusion of this research is the application of information systems developed outbound organizer can provide the simplicity in managing business processes and outbound activities.

Abstract

Even it looks like not important entertainment have an important role for human life. Along with information technology development, magazine not only printed in book dan tabloid form, but also in electronic or online. E-Magazine is an electronic magazine made with Java programming language to Android application and PHP programming language to its web application. The goal of this research is to made a perfect electronic magazine to reader so they can get information that they need and entertainment from their smart phone. In this research, requirements and data gathered by observation non participant from another e – magazine that already published in Indonesia and from relevant literature and books also article in library. And in the end, the result of this reasearch is an electronic magazine that can be run on Android phone so it gives an easy access for reader to read their favorite magazine whereever they want.  The summarize of this research are not only fill out with writing article but also image to support the article and its automatic delivery by system make this electronic magazine more economical.
