Abstract

Since it was realized that the information has become one of the important production factor and is crucial for a company that wants to win the competition in today's global era. The management company felt the need to establish a reliable enterprise information systems. For a company that has quite a modern building and implementing information systems, information systems development process has become a normal activity that is sustainable, in the sense of the word management sometimes does not feel the need to draw up a formal document containing the information systems strategic plan in detail. But for most companies who just intend to build information systems, management felt the need to draw up a document that contains the IT Strategic Planning (ITSP) guides the development of the enterprise information systems. SWOT analysis is the analysis of the internal and external conditions of an organization which would then be used as a basis for designing strategies and work programs. Internal analysis of the factors include Strength  and Weakness. Meanwhile, the analysis of external factors include Opportunity and Threath.

Abstract

The transaction processes of saving and credit are very important for the development and prosperity of a cooperative. Although with the rise of information technology development these days, Credit Union Jakarta cooperative is still haven’t had any information system application that supports the transaction processes and information of saving and credit of the members. By utilizing the development of smartphones, writer designs an information system application for the Credit Union Jakarta cooperative so that it supports the delivering process of saving and credit information which are needed by the cooperative members. The information system application of Credit Union Jakarta cooperative focuses on the easiness of accessing saving and credit information by the cooperative members by their own cell phones. Added with the inbox feature, this androidbased application gives the members to interact and to share information among each member easily. The result of this research is an android-based information system application that gives easiness especially to the cooperative members on doing the transaction and checking process of saving and credit. With the help of this application, members not only unnecessary to come to the cooperative but also the loan proposal will be faster. This research comes to a conclusion that the android-based information system application on Credit Union Jakarta cooperative not only gives information such as saving and credit balance, but also gives easiness in the deposit and payment process either for the members or the cooperative itself.

Abstract

In Indonesia today, the use of foreign languages in the world of work or education has been very common. But sometimes there are some obstacles that make it difficult to learn a foreign language, either for lack of time, not interested in the way of teaching and so on. Educational game is a game that is not only interesting to play but also has an education side for player. Game is created with the help of IntelXDK program, which can convert a gmae made in HTML5 coding into an Android application. Data was collected through secondary data from various survey from various jurnal and website. Moreover, the authors also examine various examples of similar educational games from different sources. Based on data collected by the author, as well as examples of existing HTML5 based games, the authors then make a design for display, database, and program flow. The design here is a display that can be accessed by the user. The database is designed based on what the game needed. As well as the flow of the program that is designed after looking at various examples of other existing games. Based on all the above, the writer can conclude that, an educational game, shall have the element of fun, like a lot of interaction, and audio, so that player can having fun while learning.

Abstract

Internet sudah mulai dikenal masyarakat luas, menurut survey pada awal tahun 2000 ISP Indonesia melayani sekitar 1,5 juta pengguna aktif. Mereka sebagian besar anak muda 20-30 tahun dan berpendidikan SMU ke atas. Sehingga bisa dijadikan sebagai target pasar khususnya produk yang berkaitan dengan dunia remaja. Dunia remaja adalah dunia yang sangat dinamik, dimana perubahan yang terjadi di masa remaja sangat mempengaruhi seseorang untuk mengikuti trend fashion. Fashion juga dibutuhkan dan diminati seluruh kalangan sehingga bisnis di bidang ini memiliki prospek yang bagus, hal ini menyebabkan persaingan bisnis menjadi lebih ketat.Berbagai cara diupayakan oleh para pelaku bisnis baik dengan membuka banyak cabang, atau beriklan pada media masa, dimana cara tersebut memiliki kelemahan di sisi finansial. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu sebuah media yang cukup efektif dalam mempromosikan produk dan menjaring konsumen sebanyak-banyaknya. Penulisan ini membahas mengenai penjualan pakaian berbasis web atau lebih dikenal dengan e-commerce dengan menggunakan metode waterfall, dan perancangannya menggunakan UML. Web ini menjadi jawaban atas permasalahan yang ada, dengan adanya web ini konsumen dapat mengakses informasi tentang produk dan melakukan pembelian secara online.

Abstract

Information systems that change over time and the fast-paced online education has been sweeping the world, so more and more outstanding information and complexities. Academic information system is a tool to consolidate between the needs of learning process and an important means and support for effective learning in universities. Infrastructure renewal process from conventional towards more modern was implemented at KSB (Kwik Kian Gie School of Business) started in 2004. This study discusses what factors are interrelated and affect the level of technology acceptance of SIA (academic information system) at KSB by it’s lectures, students and supporting staffs with TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). This study was aimed to show up the roles Perceived Ease Of Use and Perceived Usefulness play in shaping Attitude Toward Using SIA KSB. All of the hypotheses were empirically supported and this meant the Perceived Ease Of Use and Perceived Usefulness jointly contributed positively the Attitude Toward Using SIA KSB.

Abstract

Technology development in mobile phone stimulates the demand of application support that enables the device to maximize its potential to become smarter and make life easier. Mobile instant messaging as an instant messaging application via internet mobile is expected to provide user with unlimited mobility without losing access to information and communication. Instant messaging adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan komunikasi berbasis teks secara real-time antara dua orang atau lebih melalui jaringan internet atau jaringan lainnya (intranet). Mobile instant messaging adalah kemampuan instant messaging yang diimplementasikan pada perangkat mobile. Instant messaging is a technology that allows real-time text-based communication between two or more people over internet or other network (intranet). Mobile instant messaging is instant messaging ability implemented in mobile device. The mobile instant messaging application in this research is developed in Java environment (specifically Java ME), for the reason of its ability to run in any operating system and its open source authorization that allow supportive development and easy distribution. This research is initiated with literature study. User’s requirement is elicited with interview and exploration of similar application to gather system requirements for development. The system development is performed by using the method of object oriented analysis and design to build mobile instant messaging application in Java. The result of this developmental research is a Java based mobile instant messaging application with instant messaging and conference instant messaging features, which are competitively comparable to popular application, such as YMTiny, Yamee, eBuddy, Nimbuzz, and shMessenger. Moreover, this application is using local server to register user account, which allow faster connection speed for data transaction. This application is also enhanced with security encryption for packet data to ensure secure data transaction. The summary of this research is, Java based mobile instant messaging application offers local solution as an alternative to answer necessity for instant information and communication at affordable cost.

Business Continuity Plan is needed to complement and strengthen the system so that a reliable system. Indonesia is a disaster prone areas are less aware of the business principals to the disaster. BCP using Sharing Vision Framework to produce a form of design that suits your needs and business processes with case studies PT.PAM company that operates in the automotive industry, workshop and body repair services specialist. Sharing Vision Framework methodology starting from the identification of business processes, identify conditions and determination of IT Risk Assessment of risk and analysis that will produce the matrix for the next Risk Assessment and then carried to the process of collecting data in the Business Impact Assessment malalui questionnaires, interviews, or discussion by PT.PAM IT managers. Based on the results of Risk Assessment and Business Impact Assessment, then conducted the search and selection of alternative plans BCP strategy is the reference key in preparing a BCP document.Risk Assessment Results opportunity to explain the highest ranking threats to earthquake, fire, hacker attacks, BCP is not affected if there threats to strike and supplier failure. BIA results most business processes are at high and moderate categories, This shows every process in the service and Part Shop PT.PAM Workshop has a strong dependency relationship. Fifteen kinds of threats of disaster, the order of highest to lowest are: earthquakes, fires, hacker attacks, floods, bomb threats, software problems, hardware problems, problems of telecom, electricity supply problems, dangerous diseases / accidents, supplier failure, leaks B3, chaos , utility failure, and strike. Can in anticipation of the Strategy Plan are: Strategy Backup Hardware, Backup Strategy for electricity supply, Backup Strategy, Backup Strategy tekomunikasi channels, Backup Strategy of required supplies, personnel Backup Strategy, Site Recovery Strategy, Strategy Offsite libraries, escalation procedures and activation, and Insurance.

Abstract

Sometimes in determining the output from an application program having trouble, especially in the looping algorithm, which is usually considered to be complicated. There are a number of variables that must be analyzed along with the algorithm. Another issue is the limitations of human reason to remember all the computational results of all the variables change with the algorithms used in an application program. Under the conditions of these problems, the authors find the design as a method, how easy to analyze the variables in the algorithm and its application program, the authors designed a table that is the purpose of the authors table berinama flowchart analysis combined with the already known standards in the world of computing to analyze each application program. Table analysis to analyze variables along with the documented history of any change of variables while the flowchart to help illustrate the limit and start looping, from any application. Programming language Borland C + + that will use the author in writing this article as a tool to prove the truth of which is the result of computing. The author took a simple application example, the goal is to facilitate the explanation, or convey the concept of the draft results of the analysis table. Experience author in teaching the course Analysis and Design of Algorithms or materials relating to the algorithm, almost all students can apply the analysis is complete the design of the table along with the flowchart in each application program, either simple or difficult applications such as arithmetic applications, sorting, and searching. The result is very satisfactory, meaning that the results are similar to the results of computation, thus the student is in conformity with the logic of computer logic, the results are very satisfactory, pride, and happiness for the writer to deliver the student ketahap. This design can also serve to train and help facilitate the logic in teaching subjects related to the algorithm.

Abstract

One of the fast pace technology development major effects is that internet access, that is becoming more and more usual. These days the scope of internet use is very broad, ranging from international-scale business to home-made recipe search. Almost every internet user interacts with website, which can be used both as information pool also as instrument which takes input and gives information output that is useful to the user.Mindlab Kelapa Gading is an early-childhood education institution, specialized in developing children’s thinking skills, social skills, and emotional skills through various games. This institution needs a website that provides information about learinng programs and events held by institution. The purpose of this research is to design and build a website that augments the information service toward the institution’s students and parents, also as the institution’s medium of socialization toward society. This website is divided into front end and back end. Front end consists of web pages that are accessible to general user, institution’s students, and their parents. Back end is the part of website that is accesible only to web administrators (furthermore will be shorten to “web admin”) to manage front end content and order. The whole website is build in HTML and PHP programming language using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 as its application software. The website is connected to a database, which consists of related tables. The database is build in MySQL 5.0 language and website connection to database server is done by using phpMyAdmin. User requirements are gathered by interviewing Mindlab Kelapa Gading operational manager, teachers, and administration officer. System is designed using data flow diagram and entity relationship diagram. The website also gives reports as its output to students, parents, and intitution management. These reports are expected to empower the decision making, thus augment the quality of students’ education and institution service. The conclusion of this research is that the website increase eficiency and effectivity of Mindlab Kelapa Gading marketing and information service to society, specifically to students and parents.
