Abstract

Along with the times, computers are widely used in various fields. For example in the fields of automotive, health and so on. One of the utilization of technology that it can be used as an expert system. One implementation of expert systems in the automotive field is to know the problems in the engine. The problems that exist in the user manual Toyota is a Toyota less know about how to care and repair engine components present in Toyota car, Toyota symptoms data often is not known at all by the user so that the user's Toyota car Toyota's detriment users itself.An expert system is a branch of artificial Intelligence that make extensive use of specialized knowledge for problem solving by an expert human level and is designed to mimic the expertise of an expert in answering questions and solving problems in all areas. The basic concept of an expert system consists of several elements of expertise, experts, recognition of expertise, and the ability to explain the rules.The method used in this study is an analysis method that uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). Meanwhile, the software created using the programming language PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) with the MySQL database system.The results of this study is a useful system for analysis and decision-making to help knowing the context of a car engine. In addition, this system serves to minimize the damage error analysis done by the engine mechanics.The conclusion of this study is the program can be used by mechanics and Toyota car users to learning the diagnose process of Toyota car damage. Keywords: Expert System, PHP, MySQL

Abstract

Information technology business needs will continue to increase, especially in companies with high levels of routine and have a lot of data that must be processed as a trading company. The information system is used today by many trading companies have not had a significant impact on the relationship with the customer. Inventory management is not maximized and the lack of control of the customer's accounts receivable.Cloud is a computing model in which software and in some cases the virtual hardware resources that are provided as a service over the internet. The system was developed using CodeIgniter framework that has an MVC (Model View Controller) architecture with the PHP language. The database used is MySQL.The technique of collecting data for this research were obtained from a non-participant observation, interviews and literature studies. To analyze and design applications, workflow and processes on the system of inventory and accounts receivable information represented by the data flow diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram.The Results from this research is the information system of inventory and accounts receivable based on cloud where PD Kurnia as Wholesale able to check the inventory of the customer (member) purchased from PD Kurnia well as submit bids, and vice versa customers can view inventory PD Kurnia and book by online. PD Kurnia through this system can perform control of accounts receivable to customers.The information system of inventory and accounts receivable PD Kurnia and also facilitate its customers in managing inventory and accounts receivable. The bidding process for goods and warning of repayment can be done easily by PD Kurnia, and ordering of goods by the customer to PD Kurnia can be done more quickly and reduce the risk of a booking error.Keywords: Systems, Trading Company, Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Cloud

Abstract

Nokia and Samsung compete in the same business area, it is cellular phone. The difference of them is Nokia released cellular phones throughout the world earlier and received the title of being largest cellular phone market's ruler in the world for 14 years until Samsung ended Nokia's dominance and got the title in 2012. This paper was aimed to analyze the comparison of Nokia and Samsung's information technology leadership roles during the company's business story to achieve title of the cellular phone market's ruler, especially during Samsung's rise and Nokia's fall. This paper uses literature study method on books, journals, and articles which related to historical events regarding Nokia and Samsung and the role of information technology (IT) leadership at Nokia and Samsung. The results obtained from this paper are that Samsung managed to take advantage of IT's leadership role in the strategic quadrant, while Nokia's IT leadership role was only in the turnaround quadrant. The quadrant is determined from the approach and dynamics of information technology leadership that occurred at Nokia and Samsung. Keywords: Nokia, Samsung, Information technology leadership role, Dynamics of information technology leadership

Abstract

The development of the world of information technology is very rapid cause of the rapid information from various main sources of cyberspace. Sources of information not only can be obtained from electronic media and mass media but also social media media. Acquisition of information in social media is currently still too free plus not knowing the origin of information / anonymous causes of the general public information. It can have a negative impact on society. On the occurrence of this is the purpose of this research, namely to create a social media that has a sentiment analysis which will analyze the tweets that will be shared by the user. Social media is designed and created using HTML, C # ASP, Javascript, and SQL Server languages, using the .NET framework, and results in web application form in the browser. Social media also uses web API text analysis in analyzing the tweet sentence. The collection of information and user needs is done by trying some social media references such as Twitter, Secret, etc. to add the flow and features of such social media as well as reading books, journals, web pages as a supporting reference in building social media application web. Activity diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and class diagrams. Social media created aimed at social media users in order to reduce negative information generated from social media users who need anonymous and able to provide results analysis tweetword that has a negative and positive meaning. The conclusion that can be gained from the making of social media is the availability of an information technology facilities to exchange positive thoughts and people can feel a sense of security and comfort in obtaining information from social media. For further development, social media is expected to obtain not only text information and can add images and video admin functionality to track social media user data. Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficult problem of giving recommendation of android smartphone according to user requirement and difficulty determine alternative product like brand, type, and specification criterion for selection of android smartphone. Researchers apply the Weighted Product method in calculating the recommendation of android smartphone. Researchers also apply prototyping method as system development method in this research. Data collection and user needs are done by conducting structured interviews on smartphone reviewers from Getective.com, non-direct observation through internet media and literature studies such as reading books, journals and websites as a supporting reference for this research. Through the process of research that has been done and the application development process that has been going on, the researchers concluded that the Weighted Product method is proven to provide recommendations android smartphone that suits the needs of prospective users and smartphone selection applications that researchers create, proven to facilitate users to get recommendations android smartphone according to their needs.Keywords: Weighted Product, Smartphone, Decision Support System, Android

Abstract

Organizational knowledge management has been proven to assist the organization in achieving its goals and also provides competitive advantage, since its organizational knowledge and experience can make the decision-making process easier, precise and decisive. It can be stated that as long as the organizational knowledge is in good quality, it can be concluded that the performance of management will also grow significantly.
