Abstract

This article focuses on applying the Snowball Throwing model in the learning of fasting in the Islamic Religion subject. This study aims to investigate the extent to which junior high school students in Bintan Regency can improve their learning outcomes in learning about fasting materials. The study used interview methods, observations, documentation and evaluation tests, and LKS (student worksheets) to answer these questions. Participants were students at a Junior High School in Bintan Regency, Kepulauan Riau. This study lasted for three months, where students were given actions in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results of the data analysis showed that students had learning outcomes that did not meet the KKM for learning before being given action but showed an increase in learning outcomes after experiencing the action. The results showed that the Snowball Throwing model's application became effectively used to improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article focuses on the application of the Project Based Learning model in PAI learning. This study aims to investigate the extent to which junior high school students in Bintan Regency can improve their learning outcomes in PAI learning about the dangers of alcohol, gambling and fighting. To answer this question, this study uses classroom action research. The research participants were 20 first semester students of Junior High School in Bintan Regency, Riau Islands. This research lasted for three months in which students were given actions in the form of pretest and posttest. The results of data analysis showed that students had learning outcomes that did not meet the KKM for PAI learning about the dangers of alcohol, gambling and fighting before being given action, but showed an increase in learning outcomes after experiencing the action. This study offers pedagogical implications and suggestions for future researchers.

Abstract

This article focuses on regulating the feelings and attitudes of Indonesian students in PAI learning the Asmaul Husna material. This study aims to investigate the extent to which Junior High School students in Bintan Regency can improve their learning outcomes through the inquiry method. To answer this question, this study uses action research. This research lasted for three months in which students were given an action in the form of a test. The results of the data analysis showed that students showed less learning outcomes than the KKM before the action but showed a more positive improvement as a result of their learning after applying the inquiry method with picture media to the Asmaul Husna material. This study offers pedagogical implications for PAI teachers and suggestions for future researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of workshop activities in improving the pedagogic competence of GPAI SMP in Bintan Regency. The study lasted for six months in which participants provided documents in the form of learning tool reports. The results of the data analysis showed that Islamic religious education teachers experienced a positive increase in the competence of preparing lesson plans after attending the workshop compared to before participating in the activity. . Data sources include reflective teaching sessions conducted with field observations, teacher documents and lesson planning documents. Based on the results of this study, the authors recommend to PAI teachers at SMP in Bintan Regency to optimize their roles as planners, organizers, and assessors of learning, to school principals to facilitate PAI teachers to improve their pedagogical competencies so that it has an impact on improving the quality of education in schools, to the Education Office and The Office of the Ministry of Religion of Bintan Regency to always facilitate PAI MGMP activities by involving them in various trainings so that they can improve the quality of education in Bintan Regency in particular and in the Riau Islands Province in general.

Abstract

Instilling religious values ​​in one's self should start early, even the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) suggested that it is better to educate children starting from someone starting to look for a mate (partner) in his life. In the family the inculcation of religious values ​​is carried out by both parents. When a child enters an educational institution, the task of coaching is continued by the education staff (teachers) at the school. The desire of parents for their children to have good morals is their goal because children who have noble character will behave well towards others and towards their parents. The existence of teachers in schools and even Islamic religious teachers is expected to provide an example of morality to students. Moral development for junior high school students is carried out continuously. The application and development of Islamic religious learning values ​​is expected to be a bridge in the formation of morality.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada pembinanaan akhlak pada peserta didik agar mengetahui tentang materi jenis hewan yang halal dan haram untuk dikunsumsi. Artikel  ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang baik tentang akhlak seorang muslim terutama seorang peserta didik. Artikel ini juga sekaligus memberikan stimulus dalam meningkatkan pola belajar mereka di sekolah pada pembelajaran PAI. Studi ini menggunakan konsep  ceramah, tanya jawab dan pretest di depan kelas. Peserta didik yang mengikuti studi ini berjumlah 46 siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Bintan, Kepulauan Riau. Kemudian hasil dari pretest, wawancara dan observasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki nilai di bawah standar ketuntasan minimum (KKM) terhadap pembelajaran PAI materi jenis hewan yang halal dan haram diberikan tindakan berupa pengulangan materi di pertemuan berikutnya, sehingga mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar. Artikel ini juga memberikan peluang yang besar untuk diberiakan saran dan evaluasi untuk perbaikan di pembelajaran berikutnya.

Abstract

One of the learning materials for Islamic Religious Education which is considered quite difficult is memorizing Asmaul Husna. This difficulty is because the ability to remember (memory) of each student is different. One strategy to deal with it is quite easy by applying a PAIKEM learning method (Active Innovative Creative Effective and Fun Learning) such as the make a match learning method (Looking for a Partner). This study aims to describe the results of increasing the memorization ability of Asmaul Husna by applying the Make a Match method for sixth grade elementary school students at Bintan Regency. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Student and teacher observation data were analyzed qualitatively with student and teacher activity observation sheets, and student learning outcomes data were analyzed quantitatively (description of learning outcomes). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Make a Match method can improve learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education on Asmaul Husna memorizing material for sixth grade elementary school students. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen both in the learning process such as activeness and enthusiasm of students in learning, and can be seen in the results of the post-test of students at the end of the learning cycle.

Abstract

This classroom action research focuses on improving student achievement in Islamic Religious Education learning which aims to determine whether the application of the Mastery Learning learning model with the Drill method (Exercise) can improve student achievement for Islamic Religious Education subjects in grade II SD. To answer this question, a classroom action research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative data analysis method. The results of the data analysis showed that students experienced an increase in their learning achievement after applying Mastery Learning with the Drill method. This happens because during the learning process students become more active, enthusiastic and can understand the material being taught as a whole so that student learning achievement increases. This research has been able to prove the main effect of the Mastery Learning learning model in improving learning achievement, it is certain that in this study there are still things that have not been perfectly done, therefore it becomes a suggestion for other researchers who are interested in researching the same topic for future research. will come.

Abstract

This study generally aims to study the factors that influence students' learning motivation. By using the participatory action research method, then specifically we tried to find out the influence of principals' leadership and professional competence of PAI teachers on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The data source used is statistical analysis using interval, ordinal and nominal data. The research participants were 45 students of class VIII SMP in Bintan Regency, Riau Islands. The results obtained by the researcher that there is a correlation between the principal's leadership and the professional competence of PAI teachers on students' learning motivation for Islamic Religious Education subjects. And it is hoped that the results of this study can be a positive contribution to improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the reasons for the lack of students' interest and low value of student learning outcomes in participating in the learning process in the classroom, especially in the sixth grade elementary school students in learning Islamic Religious Education material Zakat. From the observations while the researchers saw that this was because the learning methods used by teachers were still conventional, students just sat quietly and observed the teacher's explanation of the material, without any direct experience. So that in this action research, one learning method is offered, namely Card Sort. The card sort method is a method in learning to teach concepts, classifying properties and facts about an object or information. This method is very interesting to be applied in PAI learning, so that students become active and motivated in learning activities. The results of data analysis on this study showed an increase in student learning activities and value of student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education with Zakat material.
