Abstract

Social media is currently experiencing extraordinary growth and development. Public relations ethics is one form of communication that must be applied in social media. Communiter Line is the Twitter account of PT KAI Commuter in Indonesia. But unfortunately, the account is considered to violate public relations ethics in social media. This research is entitled "The Importance of Public Relations Ethics Through Social Media Regarding Sexual Harassment Cases on the KAI Commuter Line". The admin of the official Twitter account of PT KAI Commuter @CommuterLine had become a netizen conversation. The Twitter admin was judged to have made a mistake in responding to complaints of alleged sexual harassment from fellow KRL users. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of Public Relations Ethics in cases of sexual harassment that occurred in KRL through the Twitter account @CommuterLine.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify obtaining information about the obstacles to the online teaching and learning process at home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is entitled "effectiveness of online learning during the covid19 pandemic" to find out how student innovations increase the effectiveness of online learning and create conducive learning, this research is a research that uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques and uses interviews with informants who come from from the student side, namely the university of uin ar - raniry, the determination of the informants using random sampling technique, in this study the respondents were 15 students at the uin ar - raniry university, the interview method used the semi-structured interview method, a list of questions prepared for the interview was developed based on the related literature, the results of this study there are students who still have obstacles in online learning activities, namely, lack of mastery of technology, additional internet quota fees, additional work to help parents, lack of socialization between students.

Abstract

Digital communication of Public Relations in Student Organizations plays a very important role in developing harmonious relationships, one of which is between students and the community itself. However, student public relations have not maximized its function in creating, fostering and maintaining public relations. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The results showed that there were five PR strategies used, namely visiting families in the village of Blangkruen, Darussalam sub-district, Banda Aceh city on a regular basis, approaching community leaders, counseling to various houses, approaching small journalists, uploading documentation of positive activities to the public. social media, providing guidance to the public regarding digital functions and how the development of the internet is also important in conditions with the Covid-19 disaster which made some activities unable to carry out as usual. There are several obstacles for the Public Relations of student associations in carrying out the strategies that have been designed, namely the lack of facilities and infrastructure and the lack of personnel on duty in the field or section of public relations.

Abstract

Film is a form of mass communication. Film is a medium that has a strong influence on points of view, assumptions, perceptions, behavior, social systems in society. Without realizing what is presented in each discourse, tucked in the values of public relations which indirectly affect the demands of consumers. As in the Thank You For Smoking series directed by Jason Reitman in, not for entertainment, public relations values are inserted in several scenes that represent the role of the Public Relations Officer character in the film, such as a representation constructed by a mass media.The purpose of the study is to convey public relations values in a scene in the film Thank You For Smoking. To study the film Thank You For Smoking, the author uses a research method qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis. The data obtained through literature study, Internet searching and observation.

Abstract

Mental hospitals are synonymous with a negative image in the eyes of society. No exception in the view of the Minangkabau community, West Sumatra in viewing the RSJ (Psychiatric Hospital) Prof. HB. Saanin Padang. The type of research used is the type of field research. The data is carried out by interview surveys and taking sources from various articles on several websites. And as for the case that was raised, it is a case that has actually happened a long time ago and is still happening and there is only one case, namely the case of changing the mindset of the Minangkabau community in responding to Prof. RSJ. HB. Saanin Padang. Minang people still have a negative view of the RSJ which they think is a place for crazy people, a dirty and scary place, then over time this thought is embedded in people's minds so that if they listen to the word mental hospital, they will immediately feel afraid and anxious.

This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach and data collection by collecting data from informants by interviewing and visiting places and reading articles about culinary arts. Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Strategi Komunikasi Persuasif Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Dalam Mempromosikan Obyek Wisata Bukit Seguntang. Tentang pengelolaan kegiatan pariwasata dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas destinasi pariwisata yang berkelanjutan, berdaya saing, berbasis karakteristik lokal dalam kerangka terwujudnya daya tarik wisata, dukungan aksesbilitas, usaha yang berdaya saing serta peningkatan kemampuan pariwisata lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimanana strategi komunikasi persuasif dinas kebudayaan dan pariwisata dalam mempromosikan obyek wisata bukit seguntang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik ini adalah wawancara mendalam yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian sehingga diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan penelitan. Teknik pengelolaan data dan analisis data dilakukan untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang ada. Adapun analiss data meliputi, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini Stategi komunikasi persuasif Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata dalam mempromosikan obyek wisata bukit seguntang adalah dengan beberapa cara. Pertama cara bekerjasa sama dengan travel agent lokal yang membawa tamu dan wisatawan nusantara atau mancanegara untuk dikenalkan dengan Bukit Seguntang. Kedua, membuat leaflet dan booklet tentang bukit seguntang yang berisikan foto bukit seguntang dan info grafisnya kemudian dipromosikan ke pameran baik dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Ketiga, menggunakan media cetak, media sosial dan media elektronikdalam mempromosikan dan menyebarkan informasi seputar obyek wisata Bukit Seguntang.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Public Relations Strategy in Restoring a Positive Image of Baiturrahman Radio among Listeners" was conducted to find out what strategies were carried out by public relations at Baiturrahman Radio to restore a positive image among the public. This study uses a research method in the form of a descriptive method using field research techniques. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. This study also uses a descriptive correlation method using a quantitative approach, namely describing the Public Relations Strategy in Restoring a Positive Image of Baiturrahman Radio among Listeners. This research approach is used to test the applied hypothesis. This research uses Situational Theory of The Publics. The situational theory of the publics or commonly abbreviated as STP is a useful theory for identifying the public, so that it can create more specific public categories based on the communication behavior of individuals and the effects of communication received by the individual. The results showed that the strategy carried out by Baiturrahman Radio's publicist was to re-schedule the Dakwatul Islam program so that the message conveyed was not maximal and no longer fragmented due to the call to prayer schedule which changes every day.

Abstract

This study entitled "The efforts of the RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen to convince the public to be willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19". One of the efforts of dr. Fauziah Bireuen Hospital to fight Covid-19 is to hold vaccinations for all people in Bireuen district. However, these efforts have encountered problems with the many negative opinions from the public regarding the Covid-19 vaccination. Some people still refuse vaccines, due to doubts about the safety and short and long-term side effects of the vaccine itself. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data collection technique uses a survey from Google forms related to the receipt of covid-19 vaccination in a number of people in Bireuen district and interviews against one of the health workers from the RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen is Ns. Ismaidah,S.Kep. The purpose of the research or writing of this article is to find out the efforts of RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen to convince the public to be willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The results showed, There are 45 respondents from the people of Bireuen Regency who are willing to vaccinate against COVID-19 and 5 respondents who are not willing to vaccinate against COVID-19. Therefore, various strategies, methods, and periodic socialization are also carried out so that the public can understand well the importance of vaccination and also the effectiveness of the covid-19 vaccine, so that they can provide information and increase public confidence in the covid-19 vaccine.
