Abstract

The type of research used is descriptive research with qualitative data. This research was conducted using interview instruments, documentation using mobile media, books and pens. In this study, the data sources obtained were primary data sources, namely data found directly in the field and supplemented with secondary data. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used was data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions and to check the validity of the data, the researchers used source triangulation, technical triangulation and time triangulation. Based on the research that the authors conducted at the Aua Sarumpun tourist attraction, it was found that there are three potentials that need to be developed at the Aua Sarumpun tourist attraction, namely the potential for human resource development, natural resource potential and cultural potential. The results of this study found that the potential for human resource development in developing the Aua Sarumpun tourist attraction is by building access roads and managing governance at the Aua Sarumpun tourist attraction, while the natural potential is in the form of potential natural resources that exist for the development of the Aua Sarumpun tourist attraction. This Sarumpun is the potential for nature in Aua Sarumpun which still needs a lot to be developed, for example savanna grasslands, good views and a beautiful atmosphere, while for its cultural potential in the form of traditions held at Aua Sarumpun tourist objects in the form of mangroves, eating bajamba , randai, salawat dulang, traditional speeches, chaotic lawuak cooking competitions which are still being displayed at one village event at this Aua Sarumpun tourist attraction.

Abstract

The main issue addressed in this thesis is how the Sulit Air Sepakat (SAS) Organization contributes to Nagari Sulit Air in Solok Regency. The objective of this discussion is to understand the contributions of the SAS Organization to Nagari Sulit Air and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors for the SAS Organization in assisting Nagari Sulit Air. The research type employed is qualitative research, which is descriptive in nature, aimed at obtaining data related to the researched issue. Data collection techniques utilized include interviews, observations, document analysis, and qualitative data analysis. Based on the research findings, it is revealed that the contribution of the Sulit Air Sepakat (SAS) Organization to Nagari Sulit Air plays a vital role in the development of the community, encompassing fields such as education, infrastructure, and religious matters. Initiatives like providing scholarships to local children within and outside Nagari Sulit Air, constructing places of worship, road development, and more, have significantly impacted the community. However, these efforts have faced challenges due to the contagious COVID-19 pandemic, which has hindered the local economy in recent years, affecting SAS's funding and causing disruptions in educational initiatives. Furthermore, the tourism sector in Sulit Air has not progressed due to inadequate management. The journey of the SAS Organization has encountered hurdles such as insufficient funding and difficulties in coordinating member schedules, which has impeded its smooth operation.

Abstract

The main issue in this research is to examine the forms of social and economic changes caused by salted fish management efforts, as well as to explain the impacts arising from salted fish management in the village of Air Bangis, Sungai Beremas Subdistrict, Pasaman Barat Regency. The research method used is field research with qualitative methods. The study was conducted in the village of Air Bangis. Data collection techniques employed by the researcher include observation, interviews, documentation using a mobile phone, books, and pens. Primary and secondary data sources were used in this study. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions, and to ensure data validity, the researcher used source triangulation. Based on the researcher's findings, changes in the community around the salted fish management business in the Air Bangis area, Sungai Beremas Subdistrict, Pasaman Barat Regency, include social changes such as shifts in mindset and interaction patterns. Economic changes include increased income and changes in livelihoods. Besides affecting the location of salted fish management, this also has social and economic impacts on the community. Positive impacts include improved social relationships, job opportunities, and fulfilling livelihood needs, while negative impacts include environmental pollution and social jealousy between workers and those not employed in the salted fish management facility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the background of the birth of the Sumatra Volunteer Foundation, analyze the function of the Sumatra Volunteer Foundation and see the impact caused by the presence of the Sumatra Volunteer Foundation as a non-formal education institution in Jorong Balai Labuah, Lima Kaum District, Tanah Datar Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods using a phenomenological approach. The instrument in this study makes the researcher the main instrument. Data were obtained through observation, interviews and document studies. The data that has been collected is analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the birth of the Sumatra Volunteer Foundation as a non-formal institution was motivated by the desire to improve the level of education, especially in Jorong Balai Labuah, Lima Kaum District, Tanah Datar Regency. Researchers found that there are several functions of the Sumatra Volunteer Foundation 1). Improving children's education 2). Empowering the community 3). Designing or producing products that have selling value 4). Waste Bank 5). Environmental care activities. The impact caused by the existence of the Sumatra Volunteer Foundation is, 1).  Character building 2). Improve the ability to speak English, 3). Concern for the environment, 4). Open insight.
