Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which pesantren management produces religious students at the Tahfidz Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative data were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation which were then processed descriptively. Religious behavior is one aspect of human personality that cannot stand alone, meaning that religious abilities are not formed by themselves. Research on the management of Islamic boarding schools in fostering the behavior of students is the focus of research to examine the application of religious behavior practices such as carrying out daily activities such as Ubudiyah which are carried out consistently such as praying at midnight, wirid, reading the Qur'an, and practicing other sunnahs. as well as examining the problem of students who cannot behave religiously. The results in this study show that a plan is made programmatically, starting from daily worship activities, Dars students, and applying the boarding school rules book to make students behave religiously, while the inhibiting factors include young administrators making lack of istiqomah control in daily activities so that supervision in fostering religious behavior is carried out directly from the head of the Islamic boarding school, the head of the Riayah, even the Pangasuh Buya Yahya directly supervises every day, which is implemented in the Tafaqquh Program at the Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School in Sendang Sumber Cirebon.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMPIQu Al-Bahjah Cirebon with the aim of describing the management of student planning that it implements. The research method used was qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study found that the management of learner planning carried out starts from analyzing the needs of students based on the number of registrants in the previous year, planning learner recruitment by forming a committee and disseminating information with a formal approach, selection planning which is carried out by involving religious exams and reading the Qur'an and involving the boarding school, orientation planning which is carried out jointly by introducing the school environment and boarding school, different placement planning between class VII and classes VIII and IX, as well as recording and reporting using a master book, attendance, and student achievement records. Learner planning management at SMPIQu Al-Bahjah is ideal according to existing theories and regulations and in several stages of learner planning, pesantren characteristics are inserted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the discipline development of Tafaqquh program students at Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School in Cilimus. The type of approach in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The data and data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data sources in this study are 1) coordinator, 2) teaching staff, and 3) students. Data collection techniques with non-participant observation and structured interviews. Interviews were conducted with the Cilimus branch coordinator, teaching staff, and students. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the type of discipline coaching applied to the Tafaqquh program at Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School in Cilimus is authoritarian and free and controlled which makes students bound to existing rules but still given freedom with specified limits. Discipline coaching techniques are carried out through external control where coaches and administrators emphasize discipline continuously. This slowly fosters santri awareness of discipline. The punishment given is based on violation points which are calculated every day and the type of punishment educates the students. Factors that influence santri discipline include punishment, rewards, the environment, and the example of a teacher who is highly respected by them. The discipline development of students in the tafaqquh program of Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School runs and is well managed so that it can raise awareness in students to be disciplined.

Abstract

This research discusses efforts to identify risks to avoid potential hazards at the Melati 02 Early Childhood Education Centre (PAUD) which is located in Bojong Pulus Village Rt. 04 Rw. 02, Banjaran Wetan, Banjaran District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province.. The background of the study emphasizes the need for a deeper understanding of risk identification and the role of the physical environment and security policies in the PAUD setting. The research aims to determine the risk identification process, potential hazards around the PAUD Melati 02, and ways to minimize and prevent these risks. The study also highlights the benefits of risk management in enhancing operational efficiency, protecting shareholder value, and minimizing losses. The research methodology involves a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal identified risks at the PAUD Melati 02, including accident and environmental risks, and emphasize the importance of risk mitigation to minimize negative impacts. The study concludes by acknowledging its limitations and inviting constructive criticism and suggestions for future improvements. Overall, the research provides practical guidance for PAUD management and relevant stakeholders in enhancing risk identification and ensuring the safety of children in the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of risk management in efforts to procure facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of education at Intan Al-Sani Junior High School. Risk management has become an important topic in various sectors, including in the education sector. In the context of education, risk management is concerned with identifying, evaluating, and controlling risks that can affect the achievement of educational goals. This research uses descriptive analysis methods and literature reviews to collect relevant data and information about risk management in the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure. The results of this study show that the effective implementation of risk management can make positive optimization in the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure. The optimization includes increasing the security of educational facilities and infrastructure, reviewing priorities in the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure, and more effective strategic planning. However, challenges faced in implementing risk management in education also need to be overcome, such as limited resources, resistance to change and the complexity of the educational environment. This research contributes to the understanding of risk management in the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure and provides recommendations for educational practitioners and decision-makers to improve the quality of education through an effective risk management approach.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze risk mitigation efforts that are effective in reducing conflict in the school environment, with a focus on case studies at Rabbani Kindergarten & Elementary School in Bandung. Conflict in schools can be detrimental to both students and teaching staff, so there is a need for measurable and targeted strategies to reduce risks and overcome these conflicts. The research method used involved observation, interviews, and document analysis to understand the context of conflict at Rabbani Kindergarten & Elementary School in Bandung. The research results show that effective risk mitigation involves a combination of conflict prevention, quick conflict handling, and the creation of an inclusive school environment. In addition, risk mitigation involves various related parties such as students, parents, and school staff in the handling process which is also a key factor in reducing potential conflicts. The school manages to create a harmonious environment by effectively managing conflicts and implementing positive initiatives. Stakeholder involvement and regular evaluations can maintain the sustainability of risk mitigation policies that have been implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of an integrated information system in all schools under the Irsyadul Ibad Foundation and the impact of implementing an education management information system on student attitudes covering moral and social attitudes. This study was conducted by 6 educational units of the Irsyadul Ibad Foundation, Kab. Pandeglang Banten Province. This study uses qualitative methods with observation techniques, interviews and document studies. The results of this study illustrate that the application of the my Irsyadul Ibad education information system can assist educational institutions in assisting student learning activities, relationships with parents, tidying up the management and financial system of school units and foundations. By using this information system application, students' learning activities can be controlled by parents and their progress can be recorded in real time. The existence of this information system also makes it easier for parents to meet their financial obligations to the institution. The application of this management and administrative information system makes it easy for teachers to identify attitudes and develop students' attitudes.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School, Sentang Village, Sumber District, Cirebon Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out 1) How the internalization of manhaj through the Head of Education at Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School in shaping the character of school residents, 2) How the implications of internalizing manhaj in instilling character in the educational environment of Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School, 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in internalizing manhaj through the Head of Education at Pesantren Al-Bahjah. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques carried out are by means of interviews, field observations, questionnaires, and review of relevant books. Data analysis and data interpretation techniques are carried out by data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of this study are efforts or steps to internalize manhaj, namely by improving all aspects of tarbiyah at the Al-Bahjah Islamic boarding school. The implications of internalizing manhaj in the context of instilling character education are felt by the foundation community, although there are several supporting and inhibiting factors for the internalization of the manhaj.

Abstract

Abstract : Management in education requires a system that stores various information needed in educational institutions. The system can be said to be a management information system. Management information systems in education have a very broad scope and are based on initial concepts such as systems, data, databases, and information presentation in an educational institution. This article aims to explain the basic concepts related to management information systems in education. This article uses descriptive qualitative and literature study methods by collecting various information from various references related to systems, system development, education systems, information, data, databases and the provision of educational data and information. The education system is a regular arrangement of activities and sub-systems that are interrelated with each other and correlated to achieve the desired educational goals. In the system there are two parts that should not conflict with each other, the difference only lies in the procedures for use and elements such as teachers, students, student guardians, principals, and the community. Furthermore, the system requires development that is useful as an improvement in achieving educational goals through stored data and information.

Abstract

Libraries are the main supporting facilities for education, be it primary, secondary or higher education. The main purpose of the library is to provide facilities that can improve the quality of learning where students and educators can add insights easily through various books and other references provided. Book circulation arrangements in the library have a very important role in improving the effectiveness of library management, especially those related to the process of borrowing and returning books borrowed by participants. However, Mentari Indonesia Islamic Junior High School does not have these supporting facilities, so participants cannot find out what collections are in the library. In addition, the process of borrowing and returning books by members is not recorded properly because it still relies on manual recording with paper that is prone to loss or damage. Therefore, a technology is needed that can make it easier for students and teachers to find books, manage the process of borrowing and returning books and keep the data from these activities from being easily lost. To realise this, a website-based library information system needs to be designed and created. The method used in website development is the waterfall method which is one of the popular methods in software development. The result of this design is a website application that is able to support library administration work while being able to handle existing problems. As an effort to evaluate the results of the design, the website was tested using the black box method to show that functionally the application can run well. The test results show that all the features designed can run well and without causing errors.
