Pasapua Health Journal (PHJ) merupakan jurnal berkala ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Pasapua Ambon, yang berfokus pada pengembangan ilmu kesehatan yakni pelayanan keperawatan, kebidanan, dan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat. Tujuan diterbitkannya Pasapua Health Journal adalah mewujudkan program studi keperawatan dan kebidanan sebagai suatu profesi yang ditandai oleh kegiatan ilmiah yaitu kegiatan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh tenaga pendidik maupun mahasiswa, yang dikomunikasikan melalui media jurnal yang dikelola oleh STIKES Pasapua Ambon, dan didistribusikan ke kalangan tenaga pendidik profesi perawat dan bidan, mahasiswa dan masyarakat. PHJ menerima naskah yang dapat berkontribusi dalam mewujudkan visi STIKES Pasapua Ambon sebagai wadah untuk mengembangkan keilmuan dalam bidang kesehatan. Naskah yang diterima dapat mewujudkan visi dan misi STIKES Pasapua Ambon untuk menjadi perguruan tinggi dibidang kesehatan yang unggul dalam pelayanan Kesehatan Berbasis Gugus Pulau.

Abstract

Introduction: Organophosphate intoxication can cause decreased consciousness, life-threatening airway obstruction, shock, seizures, and even death. Objective: To provide an overview and authentic experience of prehospital emergency nursing care management with organophosphate intoxication in the work area of the Public Safety Center (PSC) 119 Bantaeng Regency. Methods: used is a case study of prehospital emergency nursing care management with organophosphate intoxication by using a primary survey in providing treatment including Arway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, and Exposure. Results: Researchers see no gap between the theory and practice of patients with organophosphate intoxication. Recommendation: A public health service system that should be imitated by other regions in improving health services to the community.

Abstract

Introduction: Carious disease in children is common and often occurs but receives less attention from parents with the assumption that the child’s teeth will be replaced by permanent teeth. Factors that cause cavities include tooth structure, oral microorganisms, substrate environment (food), and the length of time food sticks in the mouth.The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between mother’s knowledgewith the incidence of dental caries in children aged 7-9 years in elementary schoolsNegeri 14 Ambon. Method: The research method used is an analytic descriptive design using a cross sectional design. The population is all mothers who have children aged 7-9 and children aged 7-9 years at SD 14 Kudamati Ambon, totaling 32 people. Sampling using total sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 32 people. Result: The results of the study showed that mothers who had good knowledge about dental caries had children who did not experience dental caries, namely 20 people (95.2%). Evidenced by the results of statistical tests using the chi square test obtained a value of P = 0.000 (α <0.05), which means there is a relationship betweenmother’s knowledge of the incidence of dental caries in Ambon 14 Public Elementary School. Conclusion: The conclusion from the research results was that there was a significant relationship between mother’s knowledge and the incidence of dental caries in school-aged children 7-9 with a value (p = 0.000).

Abstract

Introduction: Quality service is one of the determining components of patient satisfaction at the hospital. Nurses are required to provide quality nursing services in order to increase patient satisfaction. Nursing services are professional services provided by nurses in accordance with service standards where the services received exceed patient expectations. Thus nurses must be able to provide the best nursing services to patients. Method: The type of research conducted in this study is qualitative research that uses a phenomenological approach. Data collection from this study was obtained by Observation, Interview and Documentation techniques. The number of informants in this study was 10 people using the Convenience Sampling Technique chosen according to the purpose of the study, who are patients who are currently being treated at the RSKD Provinsi Maluku, then given 31 substance questions from 4 variables related to patient satisfaction with nursing services in the RSKD Provinsi Maluku. This research was conducted on 19 September – 11 October 2022. Results: The results of this study indicate that there are 4 factors that determine patient satisfaction with nursing services at the RSKD Provinsi Maluku, namely health facilities, service quality, communication and availability of nursing staff. Conclusion: of the four factors that have been explained based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that the patients were satisfied with the nursing services provided at the RSKD Provinsi Maluku, but there were several things that needed to be considered in carrying out nursing services, namely the availability of drugs that were not sufficient for patients at home pharmacies sick and the drug collection service at the pharmacy is rather long.

Abstract

Introduction : Bounding attachment plays an important role in providing comfort and warmth to the baby, where the baby will feel loved, cared for, trusted and can foster social attitudes, so that the baby can feel safe and dare to explore. There are various ways to bond attachment, including Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) and exclusive breastfeeding. Early initiation of breastfeeding can prevent bleeding after delivery and can reduce the infant mortality rate (IMR) in newborns due to hypothermia.Objective: To find out whether there is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers and Bounding Attachment in the Postpartum Room at RSUD (Regional General Hospital) dr. M. Haulussy Ambon. Method: The design used in this research is quantitative analytical descriptive research with a cross sectional study approach. This research will be carried out in the Postpartum Room at RSUD (Regional General Hospital) dr. M. Haulussy Ambon. The sample in this study was all postpartum mothers, totaling 40 respondents, with the sampling technique being total sampling.Results: From the results of the analysis, the significance value between the relationship between knowledge and Bouding Attachment is (p= 0.000), which means there is a significant relationship between knowledge and Bouding Attachment, the significance value between the relationship between attitude and Bouding Attachment is (p= 0.000), which means there is significant relationship between attitude and Bouding Attachment. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge and Bouding Attachment and there is a significant relationship between attitude and Bouding Attachment in the Postpartum Room at RSUD (Regional General Hospital) dr. M. Haulussy Ambon.

Abstract

Introduction: World Health Organization (WHO) views Tuberculosis (TB) as one of the oldest known infectious diseases and still becomeS the leading cause of death. Indonesia contributes as much as 45% of the world total cases of TB. The prevalence of TB in South Sulawesi is 0.36%. Pabbentengan Community Health Centre is one of the health centers with the highest TB case in Gowa. In 2019, 47 cases of TB were recorded and among of the cases 3 were household contacts. The increasing of TB case is caused by socio cultural factors such as knowledge, family, job dan income. This research aimed to: Find out the relation between family support and the efforts to prevent the transmission of TB in household contact. Method: This research was a quantitative, analytic study with a Cross Sectional approach. The population of this research was TB patients and family members of TB patients with a total sample of 99 respondents. Data collection method used in this research was questionnaire. When collecting data was done, the next steps were editing, coding, entry, cleaning, and tabulating data. The data were then processed with a computer on the IBM SPSS Statistics 21 program. Results: The result of this research showed p-value, Family support of 0.004. In conclusion there are relations between knowledge, behavior, family support and income with the effort to prevent the transmission of TB patients in household contact. As for job, there is no significant relation.

Abstract

Introduction : Malaria, caused by the Plasmodium parasite transmitted by Anopheles mosquitoes, remains a serious health problem in Indonesia and throughout the world. Research on the effect of Gambir Laut leaf extract on malaria and its impact on liver damage is very important in overcoming the spike in malaria cases in Indonesia.Method: This research is a laboratory experiment.Results: The results of measuring SGPT enzyme levels showed that the administration of Gambir Laut infusion extract could reduce SGPT enzyme levels in mice infected with Plasmodium berghei ANKA. The lowest SGPT levels were in the group of infected mice that were only given a 10% dose of Sea Gambir extract.Conclusion: Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that administration of Gambir Laut infusion extract at doses of 01.%, 1% and 10% in mice infected with Plasmodium berghei ANKA can reduce levels of the SGPT enzyme.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a dynamic developmental phase in a person's life. This period is the transition from childhood to adulthood, marked by physical, mental, emotional, and social development. Objective: The general purpose is to determine the relationship between personal hygiene knowledge and behavior during menstruation in Talita Kumi Sector One Waai Village, Central Maluku Regency adolescent girls. Methods: The research method used is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study design. Sampling using a total sampling technique with a total of 38 respondents. Bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test. Results: The results of the research obtained were young women in Talitakumi Sector 1 Waai village, Central Maluku regency, who had good knowledge of as many as 13 respondents with a percentage (34.2%), while young women who had poor knowledge of as many as 25 respondents (65.8%). Adolescents who have good behavior as many as 26 respondents with a percentage (68.4%), while adolescents who have poor behavior as many as 12 respondents (31.6%). The relationship of knowledge with adolescent behavior during menstruation in the talitakumi1 sector of Waai Village is a statistical test at a value of p = 0.064. In other words, the p-value in this study is more significant than 0.05, concluding that there is no relationship between knowledge and adolescent behavior during menstruation. Recommendation: this study can be a reference for readers to do personal hygiene during menstruation as a form of education for preventing diseases caused by bacteria.

Abstract

Introduction: Child health in rural areas is an issue that requires serious attention, especially with low immunisation coverage, the high risk of stunting related to maternal education levels and family income, and village government efforts that need to be improved in implementing the Healthy Village Program. Through an in-depth understanding of children’s problems, concrete steps can be taken to improve the welfare of the next generation in rural communities. Methods: The method used in this study was literature review. The articles collected were qualitative and quantitative articles on the review of low immunisation coverage, stunting and the impact of village programs on children’s health. Results: Low immunisation coverage and family planning participation, family income has a 5 times higher risk of stunting and evaluation of the healthy village program is sufficient. Conclusion: Significant health challenges especially in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) programmes require increased preventive efforts, the importance of a holistic approach to and improvements need to continue.

Abstract

Introduction: Village health is an integral benchmark that includes knowledge, performance, health promotion, and community participation in an effort to organise competitive and sustainable health services at the local level. An in-depth understanding of the aspects of village health will lead to improved community wellbeing. Methods: The method used in this study was literature review. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of pocket book provision on knowledge, knowledge does not significantly affect the performance of village midwives while Job description has a very significant effect on midwife performance, there is a relationship between predisposing, enabling, reinforcing factors with the implementation of the Maternal and Child Health Promotion Programme (MCH). Then the use of Community-Sourced Health Efforts (UKBM) has various reasons with the dominant not needing. Furthermore, the implementation of the Village Health Forum (FKD) in Gulon Village has not been sufficiently supportive of the “Active Alert Village” development programme due to a lack of required resources and poor FKD management. Conclusion: The 5 aspects of village health that are influential are the pocket book, job description, knowledge factors, health facilities and personnel in improving community health welfare
