Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the Think Pair Square type of cooperative model on rectangles and triangles material for students of class VII JHS which are valid and practical. This development research uses the Plomp model which consists of three stages, namely the Preliminary Research Phase, the Development or Prototyping Phase, and the Assessment Phase. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that student worksheets based on the Think Pair Square type of cooperative model on the material of rectangles and triangles in terms of content feasibility, the Think Pair Square cooperative model, language, presentation and graphics have a validity level of 83.33% with a very valid category. LKPD also met the practical criteria from the results of the questionnaire responses of three students who had carried out the One-to-One Evaluation with a percentage of 91.48%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the student worksheets based on the Think Pair Square type of cooperative model on the material of rectangles and triangles for grade VII junior high school students can be declared valid and practical. Abstract

This research has a puspose to develop PBL-based learning tools on topic of mathematics induction in class XI MIPA SMA/MA. This design research uses the Plomp development model which comprise of three stages, first the preliminary research, second the development/prototyping phase and last the assessment phase. In the preliminary research, needs analysis, curriculum analysis, concept analysis and student analysis are carried out in order to obtain the main characteristics of the form of the learning tools being developed. In the development/prototyping phase, a prototype design of learning tools was made in the form of PBL-based lesson plans and PBL-based LKPD for mathematics induction material. The prototype must go through formative evaluation in the form of self-evaluation and expert evaluation to obtain a valid prototype. The last stage is the assessment, this assessment aims to determine the practicality criteria of the LKPD prototype which is carried out after the implementation of an one to one evaluation. This research was carried out when Covid-19 was endemic, so there were several stages of research that could not be carried out properly. Mathematical communication skills are very important in learning mathematics in schools.It is one of the abilities which every student must have and also a tool which can be used to solve problems, especially with math problems. Abstract

This study aims to see how the influence of motivation on mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 21 Padang. Motivation has a very important role in various activities, one of which is in learning activities. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research. The approach used in this research is a correlational approach because it looks for the influence between one variable and another. The results of the analysis show that the data analysis ofithe research results obtained the ccorrelation coefficient r count > r.table (0.365> 0.2335) at a significant level of 5% and has an effect of 13%. Keywords - Descriptive Research, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This-research aims to develop-student’s  worksheets (LKPD) based on problems for 1st grade students of SMA in 1st semester on Nilai Mutlak and Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel material. The research model used is Plomp model-that consists of several types, Preliminary,Prototyping and Assessment Phase. On Preliminary, students analysis, curriculum analysis, and concept analysis have been done. Prototyping is the steps to design LKPD that consists of prototype 1 and prototype 2. On prototype 1 self evaluation and expert review have been done-to see the validity of LKPD that have been developed. On prototype 2 there is one-to-one evaluation, by testing the learning tools which have-been validated toward three students. The last-step is assessment-phase that aimed to see the validity and practicality of LKPD. The result-of this research showed-that LKPD based on problems that developed has been valid and practice. Based on the validator evaluation we can get the result is 86,17% that categorized as very valid and the result of three students that has done one-to-one evaluation is 91% which categorized as vary practical.   Keywords __ Worksheet, Project Based Learning

Abstract

Learning interest is one of the factors that affect the learning outcomes of students. High learning interest will help students obtain high learning outcomes as well. This research was conducted to determine and analyze the interest in learning mathematics of class IX students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection tool in this study was a questionnaire. The results showed that the students' interest in learning mathematics class IX SMP Negeri 15 Padang was in the medium category with an average percentage of  66.52%. Keywords__ Learning Interest, Mathematics Learning, Student

Abstract

Learning mathematics has objectives that must be achieved, one of which is the ability to solve mathematical problems. The low ability of students' mathematical problems is because the learning process is not optimal. Therefore, to overcome this, it takes a learning model that can improve students' mathematical problem management skills, one of which is the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model. The purpose of this is to describe whether the cooperative learning type of Group Investigation can improve the mathematical problem skills of students according to a literature study. The type of research used is a literature study on improving the ability of mathematical problems through cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop student worksheets (LKPD) based on discovery learning that is valid and practical on Cartesian coordinates for grade VIII junior high school students. This research is a development research by modifying the Plomp development model which consists of three phases, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and the assessment phase. Based on the results of data validity analysis in terms of four aspects, namely the feasibility of content, linguistic aspects, presentation aspects and graphic aspects, it shows that the-based student worksheets discovery learning have a validity level of 87,33% with a category very valid. In the practicality category, LKPD also met the practical criteria from the result of the questionnaire responses of three students who had carried out the one to one evaluation with a persentage of 89,26%. Based on these results it can be concluded that based student worksheets discovery learning on Cartesian coordinates for grade VIII junior high school students can be declared valid and practical. Keywords – Development Research, Student Worksheet, Discovery Learning

Based on the results of the validity data analysis, it shows that LKPD based on thecooperative model Team Assisted Individualization from the aspect of content feasibility, cooperative model Team Assisted Individualization, language, presentation and graphics have a validity level of 89.2% with a very valid category. LKPD also met the practical criteria from the results of the questionnaire responses of three students who had carried out the One to One Evaluation with a percentage of 90.19%. Abstract

Mathematics is implemented in various fields of science. However, there is still many students who make many mistakes in solving math problems. Therefore, an analysis of these errors is necessary to apply. This research aims to describe the types and factors which cause students to make errors according to Watson's criteria, namely incorrect data (ID), inappropriate procedures (IP), omitted data (OD), omitted conclusion (OC), response level conflicts (RLC), undirected manipulation (IM), skill hierarchy problems (SHP), and above other (AO). This research itself implements descriptive. Next, 34 students in twelfth-grade social science of SMA Negeri 4 Bukittinggi in the academic year 2020/2021 had participated in the research, and five of them were chosen to be interviewed. The research data were obtained from the test, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the most dominant type of error is AO which is 33.82%. Furthermore, RLC error is 25.55%, SHP error is 7.90%, IP error is 5.51%, ID error is 5.33%, the OD error is 4.96%, IM error is 4.04%, and OC error is 1.84%. These errors were caused by a lack of understanding about the material, inaccuracy, lack of experience and preparation before carrying out the test. Keywords—Watson Error Analysis, Mathematical Problems
