Abstract

Learning objectives must be achieved in every learning avtivity, achieving these goals requires appropriate learning strategies. This study aims to determine the learning startegies in curriculum review and economic mathematics courses that can improve students understanding of teaching materials. The survei was conducted on 92 students of economic education who studied curriculum review and economic mathematics courses with the research method used was descriptive. The results of the study stated that students who studied curriculum review and economic mathematics chose the study face-to-face even though online using the zoom application could improve understanding of the material, basides that, video, audio and other interactive media were also needed that could help students understand the material.

Abstract

This research is motivated by economic instability caused by the instability of monetary factors in Indonesia, especially the condition of the money supply in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of interest rates, economic growth and inflation on the demand for money which is proxies by the Money Supply (M2). This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data from 2000 to 2020. The results obtained in the study were analyzed using the least squares method of Multiple Linear Regression analysis using the SPSS program. The test results based on the significance of the t test states that interest rates have a positive effect, economic growth has a negative effect and inflation has no positive effect on the Money Supply. Then, based on the significance of the f test of Interest Rates, Economic Growth and Inflation simultaneously (simultaneously) affect the Money Supply.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in saving in Islamic banks in FPEB UPI students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student attitudes regarding the Islamic banking system on interest in saving in Islamic banks. The research method used is an explanatory survey. The population of this study were students of FPEB UPI class of 2013 and 2014 which amounted to 1,122 students. The research sample amounted to 295 students who were taken using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, as well as data analysis techniques using simple linear regression. The results show that: (i) respondents have a positive attitude (favorable) to the Islamic banking system with a high level of interest in saving, (ii) students' attitudes about the Islamic banking system have a positive effect on interest in saving in Islamic banks.

Abstract

Due to the low economic growth in Indonesia, which is indicated by the low fundamentals of the Indonesian economy as a result of the global crisis that has hit the world today. This study aims to determine the effect of the monetary crisis, exchange rate, and inflation on economic growth in Indonesia by reviewing and summarizing its track record through existing data including (1) Rupiah Exchange Rate 1990-2010; (2) Indonesia's inflation from 1990-2010; and (3) Indonesia's GDP in the years 2990-2010 which the authors have obtained data from BPS and other sources. The data analysis method in this research uses a quantitative model on OLS (Ordinary Least Squared). The results showed that the monetary crisis as a Dummy variable, exchange rate, and inflation had a significant and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by symptoms or phenomena that occur in the Non-Bank Financial Institution sector. There are many types of non-bank financial institutions circulating in the community, including life insurance companies, social insurance companies, pawnshops, pension funds, finance companies, guarantee companies, infrastructure financing companies and Indonesian export financing institutions that have their respective roles and benefits for Public. Non-bank financial institutions have a very important role for the economy. The strategic role of this institution is as a vehicle that is able to collect and channel public funds effectively and efficiently towards improving people's living standards. This study was conducted to find out how the influence of the development of non-bank financial institutions marked by the growth of non-bank financial institution company assets on the progress and growth of the Indonesian economy as measured by gross domestic product (GDP). The method in this study uses a quantitative descriptive method using panel data. The choice of quantitative descriptive in this study was based on research that wanted to examine and see the degree of relationship between the relationship between Non-Bank Financial Institution Assets and the Economic Growth Rate. The object of this research is Economic Growth, namely GDP as the dependent variable and Non-Bank Financial Institution Assets as the independent variable. The data sources in this study were obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2010-2019.

Abstract

The development of the monetary sector is one way to increase the rate of economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of monetary variables on Indonesia's economic growth before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series data from free money supply, interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and Indonesia's economic growth before the pandemic, namely from 2000 - 2019 (y-to-y) and during the pandemic, namely in 2020. (q-to-q) obtained from data published by Bank Indonesia in the form of Monetary Economic Statistics, Monetary Policy Reports, Indonesian Economic Reports, and the Central Statistics Agency. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the inflation rate and interest rates in Indonesia have a positive effect on economic growth, while the money supply with exchange rates does not have a positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia.
