Abstract

The development of technology and information is growing very fast. Learning Physics is a science that refers to natural phenomena. Physics in the delivery of material in class is done by using lectures, demos, and practicum methods in the laboratory. Many physics teachers are not optimal in utilizing technology. In this activity the author tries to contribute to guiding high school teachers in Tegal City in making a simulation-based virtual laboratory using the help of modellus software. In this activity, teachers are expected to understand how to create and develop a simulation-based virtual laboratory with the help of modellus software. Community Service Activities (PKM) are carried out online or distance learning in order to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. In general, participants rated the activity as 5% Fair, 75% Good and 20% Very Good

Abstract

This community service activity aims to overcome the problem of lack of understanding and information from the school community on the development of information technology, especially Adobe Flash interactive media. The use of technology in learning can be an option to make media innovations that are new and become interesting material for students. One way to make learning interesting is by using learning media. The use of learning media in the teaching and learning process can generate new desires and interests, generate motivation and stimulation of learning activities, and even bring psychological effects on students. Because of the New Normal era and schools have implemented face-to-face learning, schools, in this case teachers, need to have innovative learning designs that are attractive but also effective. Abstract

Family communication is one of the most important forms of communication. Good family communication can prevent the spread of COVID-19. One of the ways is to share information and messages related to the disease. This community service activity was carried out in Karang Village, Delanggu, Klaten. This service activity provides counseling to the target of community service to be able to strengthen and implement good family communication as a means of preventing the spread of COVID-19. The result achieved from this community service activity is that the target of community service realized the importance of strengthening and implementing good family communication to take care of each other in the family from various bad things including COVID-19.

Abstract

During the transitional period of the Covid-19 pandemic, it greatly impacted children's interest in learning. The lack of interest in learning felt by children because they are used to learning via mobile phones and full parental assistance is carried out within two years. This condition is used by students of Community Service Program (KKN) to develop a program to fill study time without a teacher with joint learning activities with KKN students. These activities are intended to help children in the Palasari Village environment to gain additional knowledge so as to generate enthusiasm and interest in learning. This activity is a solution to this problem through the Average Jam Play method (lectures, questions and answers, playing and singing). The method approach is through mentoring teaching and learning activities with the help of a descriptive qualitative approach. The success of this tutoring activity is that it can foster the enthusiasm and interest of children in the Palasari Village environment to carry out group learning activities carried out at the KKN post

Abstract

This community service activity aims to overcome the problems faced by junior high school students at SMP 1 Purwosari, SMPN 1 Purwodadi, SMPN 1 Sukorejo. The problem faced is that students' creative thinking skills are still low. Teachers rarely give project assignments based on everyday problems associated with one of the subject matter being studied in class, as a result students are less challenged by their creative ideas in completing their assignments. The solution offered is to provide training on the use of E-Module based on STEM Project Based Learning to improve creative thinking for Middle School Students in Pasuruan Regency. Based on the results of the community service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that there was an increase in thinking ability which was assessed based on the mathematical test of class VIII students of SMP N 1 Purwodadi, Pasuruan Regency totaling 60 students, indicating that the student's completeness score was 88.44%. Based on the test results of SMPN 1 Purwosari students, the student completeness score was 71.9%. Meanwhile, based on tests at SMPN 1 Sukorejo, it was found that the student's completeness score was 83.26%.

Abstract

Berbagai perilaku negatif seperti tawuran antar pelajar, perilaku seks bebas, penyalahgunaan narkoba, budaya tak tahu malu, tata nilai dan norma yang semakin merosot menjadi isu besar sekarang ini. Untuk itu melalui pembentukan karakter anak sangat penting saat ini. Peringatan hari anak nasional adalah sebuah perwujudan bagi anak untuk membentuk karakter dan budi pekerti yang baik, terutama di sekolah. Lembaga sekolah adalah lembaga yang bertanggung jawab atas peserta didik dalam perwujudan pengetahuan dan karakter. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menanamkan dan membentuk karakter peserta didik SDN Palasari 01 melalui peringatan hari anak nasional yang diselenggarakan oleh sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu pembentukan karakter peserta didik dan pengimplementasiannya dalam kegiatan sekolah dan di rumah. Dengan peringatan hari anak nasional, pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan oleh sekolah kepada peserta didik di SDN Palasari 01 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai kreativitas, semangat kebangsaan, gemar membaca, tanggung jawab dan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

School is an effective means of providing studying about disaster management, especially for schools located in disasterprone areas. In carrying out education about disaster management, it can indeed be started from elementary school age, because that way children areable to know a natural disaster occurs. The method of implementing activities is in the form of exploratory discussions. Results, knowledge about disaster management in the school environment is needed by all residents in the school, so that they understand about natural disasters, attitudes in dealing with disasters, the importanceof protecting the surrounding environment, and when disaster occurs, they are able to anticipate and prepare themselves, so that it will reduce the impact when a disaster occurs

Abstract

Children are an age that is prone to accidents or injuries, because the are curious about things around them, in school student are starting to enter their teens. Therefore, it is necessary for school resident, especially teachers, to know how to do first aid when accident happens, so the are able to apply and teach student and the local community. The method of implementing activities tha have been carried out is in form of exploratory discussions and practice of handling injuries. Result knowledge about first aid in an accident in the school is needed by all components in the school. Both student through teachers, so that when an injuru occurs, they can perform first aid properly

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan minat anak-anak belajar membaca al-qur’an dan agama, diperlukan strategi-strategi khusus yang diterapkan di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an. Salah satu strategi tersebut adalah menambahkan materi Bahasa Inggris kepada para santri. Penambahan materi Bahasa Inggris ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membangun rasa percaya diri dan keberanian para santri berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris. Pembelajaran speaking dalam Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan direct method memberikan dampak yang postif terhadap santri-santri Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an “NURUL YAQIN”. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat dilihat bahwa mereka termotivasi dan berani untuk berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris
