Abstract

Radiator is a cooling system using fluid as a heat exchanger. How the radiator works by channeling the heat released by the motor engine is then absorbed by the radiator coolant fluid. The radiator device consists of a coolant inlet and engine outlet, a cooling fan mounted in front or behind the radiator, and coolant. Coolant in the radiator has a very important role in dissipating engine heat to the environment. In this study, I will analyze the different types of coolant variations, namely water, prestone antifreeze, Seiken, premix coolant DCK, and yamacoolant. on the cooling rate and radiator effectiveness using rotation variations of 1600, 3000,5000 rpm and measurement times of 1, 5, and 10 minutes on the Yamaha Nmax engine. The results of the research that have been carried out are the average heat transfer rate and the highest radiator effectiveness occur in the Yamacoolant type cooling fluid of 1.992kW and 0.726, the second highest occurs in the Prestone cooling fluid where the heat transfer rate value is 1.918kW and the radiator effectiveness is 0.652, then followed by Seiken where the heat transfer rate is 1.901kW and the radiator effectiveness is 0.634, then followed by DCK the heat transfer rate is 1.702kW and the radiator effectiveness is 0.592 and the smallest is experienced by mineral water where the heat transfer rate is 1.542kW and the radiator effectiveness is 0.501.

Abstract

Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) provides money to the poor. This cash assis-tance program was made to help the underprivileged deal with the corona-virus (Covid 19) pandemic. The implementation of the C4.5 algorithm in determining the recipients of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) was conducted by making classifications or rules according to the data of the old benefi-ciaries, then classifying based on the variables of the husband's and wife's work, home status, and the number of dependents. The results of these classifications or rules were used as a basis if there were future Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) recipients. Through the application of the C4.5 algorithm in determining the exact target of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), beneficiar-ies could receive assistance quickly and then would be shown in a report that could be downloaded.

Abstract

Of the several animals that we know, the cat is one of the most popular pets in today's society. However, in order to keep the pet cat in good health, cat keeper must pay more attention to the food schedule otherwise the cat will be susceptible to disease, so it can harm the cat itself. In today's modern era, many things can be designed to make activities easier. One of them is the design of a prototype automatic cat feeder. The purpose of this research is to design and make an automatic cat feeding device using Arduino Uno R3 as the brain in this series which then uses Arduino IDE software and C++ programming discussion to input the data that will be needed. Furthermore, this tool will also be directly connected to the RTC (Real Time Clock) as a benchmark for the hour and date and the servo motor as a valve controller, so that the feeder will open according to the input schedule. This tool also uses the GPRS Shield 800L as a sender of SMS notifications when the prediction feed is running out. Finally, this one set of tools also uses a step down module which can be used as a voltage adjustment for the feeder. This tool can later be useful, especially for cat shelter owners/keepers because it can provide feed according to a time and schedule whose own dose can be inputted based on age. The advantage of this tool is that it can last for approximately 2 hours without electricity (possibly when the power goes out) specifically for sending notifications.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) in a transportation companies may affect many aspects that determine work success, especially the drivers. Competition among drivers is getting tougher, hence the companies face difficulties in finding the best bus drivers. Nevertheless, the assessment still uses the traditional method, namely by using a book as the calculation. The study used the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) and Multi Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) methods to rank drivers’ performance in terms of discipline, knowledge, loyalty, and years of service. The system used in this study also compares the two methods with the actual rank from the company. The population in this study was 90 respondent, with a sample data of 10 drivers. The results show that the SMART method is closer to manual ranking, which has 7 similarities out of 10 ranking sequences or 70% accuracy rate with the manual calculations. On the other hand, only 4 similarities out of 10 ranking se-quences were generated by the MFEP method. Thus, the MFEP method only has a 40% accuracy rate with manual calculations. To sum up, the research created a decision support system that has certainty in choosing the best bus driver to assists the leaders to find the best driver to get an exclusive bus.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has made indonesian people have to follow all health protocols made by the government, to overcome this virus requires movement of all sectors, including the research sector. The research sector is not only engaged in vaccines and drugs but also in efforts to reduce the spread of COVID 19 in Indonesia. This study aims to produce an RFID body temperature and attendance detection tool system using a web-based NodeMcu and produce a program that will send data to the web server. This tool is designed to be able to check body temperature and attendance more accurately and can be monitored directly by the user. The results of the study can directly detect body temperature using the MLX90614 body temperature sensor when someone approaches the sensor, the proxymity sensor will directly order the pump to remove the hand sanitizer liquid, and the RFID Reader detects the presence or attendance using the RFID Card. All data will appear on the LCD and enter the cloud server and will appear on the web page so that it can make it easier for users to carry out attendance activities in daily activities.
