Abstract

Analysis of Transparency and Accountability at Amil Zakat Institutions on Muzakki Loyalty (Perception Study at BAZNAS Depok City). This study aims to analyze the influence of each variable, namely the effect of transparency and accountability of Amil Zakat institutions on muzakki loyalty. Lembaga Amil Zakat as a non-profit organization needs to focus on institutional transparency and accountability to increase muzakki loyalty. In this study, data was collected through probability sampling questionnaires. The respondents of this study were muzakki or those who paid their zakat through the Depok City Baznas. The analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis. The results of this study show that two independent variables, namely transparency and accountability, have a positive effect on muzakki loyalty. This means that the higher the transparency and accountability of the institution, the higher the loyalty of the muzakki.

Abstract

The economic imbalance in Indonesia, if not given attention, has the potential to increase, worsening economic growth conditions. Zakat Infaq Shadaqah (ZIS), as an instrument of wealth redistribution in the sharia economy, has the potential to overcome this problem, but currently there is a gap between the potential and realization of ZIS, especially regarding the collection of funds which is not yet optimal. To overcome this problem, this research aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision to pay ZIS via Shopee and Tokopedia, the two largest e-Commerce platforms that provide digital ZIS payment services. The factors analyzed include digital financial literacy, promotion, demographics, and preferences in e-Commerce. This research uses quantitative methods with multinomial logistic regression using SPSS 24. The research population is residents of Malang City, with a sample of 100, taken using a purposive sampling method. The results of the analysis show that the factors age, digital financial literacy, promotion, e-commerce, ZIS preferences are proven to have a significant influence on the Platform Decision to fulfill ZIS in e-Commerce. Furthermore, this research finds that there is an insignificant influence of education level and gender.

Data collection is carried out using purposive sampling method, using data registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) from 2012 to 2022. The data processing technique in this study uses panel data analysis with the assistance of STATA 15. The variables used in this study are divided into two categories, namely dependent and independent variables. The dependent variable used is bank profitability, proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). Meanwhile, the independent variables used include Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO). Abstract

Waqf has significant potential in Indonesia because the majority of its population is Muslim. However, the development of waqf is hindered by issues related to fund allocation and distribution, as well as inefficiencies in traditional waqf. This study aims to analyze the intentions of Millennials in conducting Crowdfunding Waqf using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, supplemented with variables such as religiosity, information media, knowledge, and altruism. Primary data were collected through an online survey in Malang City with 253 respondents who are Muslim, belong to the millennial generation, are residents of Malang City, and are employed. The analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS (Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling). The results show that the variables of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, information media, altruism, and knowledge level have a positive and significant relationship with millennials' intentions to conduct crowdfunding waqf. Conversely, the variables of social influence, facilitating conditions, and religiosity have a positive but not significant relationship with these intentions. This study makes an important contribution to the literature on factors influencing the acceptance and adoption of waqf-based crowdfunding models among millennials. Abstract

The main purpose this research was carried out is to demonstrate the impact caused by macroeconomic variables including Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Inflation and Gold Prices towards the amount of zakat reception collected by the National Amil Zakat Agency throughout the time of the Covid-19 pandemic 2020-2023 period of time in Indonesia. This research utilizes a quantitative approach to estimate the research data in order to discover causality relationships between independent variables (DGP, Inflation, Gold Price) and dependent variable (Zakat Receipt). Quantitative data is the data type used in this research and the source of data uses secondary data. Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) is the approach method used in this research. The estimation results appear that independent variable Gross Domestic Product possess a positive impact on Zakat Receipts at BAZNAS during the Covid-19 pandemic, meanwhile Inflation and Gold Prices possess a negative impact on Zakat Receipts at BAZNAS during the Covid-19 pandemic.
