Abstract

Relation between one or several explanatory variables with ordinal scale and response variable, also with ordinal scale, in ordinal multiple regression (OMR) may be made by mean of threshold approach or proportional odds. The objective of this study was to apply ordinal multiple regression model in estimating regression parameter in predicting ordinal response, to learn testing technique, either partial or simultaneous, and to identify variables that have influence on the response.

Abstract

VSAT (Very Small Aparture Terminal) or micro earth station is the telecommunications used data communications network between computer through satellite constructively by controller station with antenna; diameter of 1,8 m and also the form small and easyly installation at every user location. This research evaluate usage of network VSAT so that inferential in the end how far usage ofd data communications network evaluated from transmission media VSAT used and from this research can give the picture situation of the network use VSAT so that can give the data support for pengatran system performance and planning of network capacities in future. This research use the reference - the reference that relevance with VSAT and collect data of companies/ related/relevant institution as reference in analysing the data (throughput and delay) so that yield the information sistimatis concerning the network performance handal. This research result throughput VSAT canal is 0,32 or 32% and delay is 0,318 second for successful package ( free collision) and also to once remanding have delay 1,838 second.

Abstract

Stress at work place is not a strange phenomenon anymore. Stress can occur to anyone even to a nurse. Stress is said as over demand of individuals capability to fulfill such demand. Physical and psychological condition of the nurse is closely related to her performance. This study is aimed at notifying relation of nurses stress with quality of nursing. Sample of this study is nurses working at tropic side at about 15 people, purposively taken, using cloze questioner and observation sheet instruments. The analysis of data is done using Chi-Sguare (X2). Result of data analysis shows that: X2 count = 4,29 and X2 (0,005) (1) = 3,84 or X2c count > X2 (0,005) (1) there for it is concluded that there is relationship between the nurse stress and quality of nursing. In addition, there is information about stress cause of the nurse, it is stated that the cause mostly from patients and treatment upbringing, salary and the head and partners, and also entertainment to establish quality of nursing which is commonly good. Abstract

Formulasi matematik dari kebanyakan permasalahan dalam ilmu fisika dan teknologi dapat dipresentasikan dalam bentuk persamaan diferensial parsial (PDP). Persamaan tersebut merupakan laju perubahan terhadap dua atau lebih variable bebas yang biasanya adalah waktu dan jarak. Hukum-hukum fisika biasanya didasarkan pada persamaan-persamaan empiris yang menjelaskan perubahan sifat fisis dan keadaan sistem. Keadaan sistem fisis biasanya dinyatakan dalam bentuk perubahan spasial dan temporal. Persamaan yang merupakan gabungan suatu fungsi yang tidak diketahui serta turunannya disebut persamaan diferensial. Banyak fenomena fisis diformulasikan secara matematik dalam persamaan diferensial, diantaranya menentukkan distribusi suhu pada pelat yang berbentuk persegi empat dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode beda-hingga terhadap persamaan laplace. Dari hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa data perhitungan distribusi suhu pelat persegi empat setiap waktu menunjukkan hasil yang sesuai dengan perkiraan.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to study the effects of cod liver oil on microanatomic structure of rats liver (Rattus norvegicus, L.). The present research used of Completely Randomized Design comprised of 25 Wistar males, randomly divided into five groups (A, B, C, D, and E). Group A was assigned as control, whereas B, C, D, and E were given cod liver oil with doses of 0,5, 1, 1,5, and 2 ml/b w/ day for 8 weeks, respectively. The parameters observed were microanatomic structure of rats liver (Rattus norvegicus, L.). The determination of liver for microanatomic preparation were done at the end of treatments. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively. The research demonstrated that rats liver cells underwent plasmolyses, cloudy swelling degenerations, hydrophic degenerations, fatty degenerations and necroses (pycnoses and karyorrhexis).

Abstract

Dalam gelombang datar dari partikel yang bertenaga tunggal, sesudah melewati potensial penghambur, akan keluar menjadi gelombang yang bersifat radial sentral, dan untuk menurunkan fungsi gelombang yang terhambur dapat menggunakan persamaan schrodinger. Banyakknya partikel yang terhambur dengan sudut keluar dari potensial V sebesar dw sebanding dengan keboleh jadian menemukan partikel atau rapat partikel r dan luasnya. Sehingga banyaknya partikel yang terhambur persatuan sudut ruang disebut tambang lintang hamburan ( crossection ). Penyelesaian persamaan schrodinger secara superposisi dapat lebih lengkap. Pada fungsi gelombang radial dapat dicontohkan dalam koordinat bola yaitu hamburan partikel pada potensial bentuk sentral sumur.

Abstract

Koan fish is the one of fish herbivore that can use the plant as their food in high number. The eating ability of the fish influenced by the gut structure of the koan fish. The koan fish have a short gut and this cause the digesting ability is uncompleted. For balancing, the koan fish needs the high number of plant for their food. The ability of koan fish in eating plant is influenced by the age and the weight of fish. The study by Onu (2007) in limboto lakes shows that the one year of koan fish with 250 fish per net can eat 1.12 kg/m2 of Euchornia (eceng gondok). This more effectives than five month of koan fish that can eat Euchornia (eceng gondok) only 0.46 kg/m2. Other factor also influences the ability of koan fish in eating water plan. The population density, kind of species, and weed location in the water also can influence the ability of fish in eating the weeds. Koan fish can be live in water with the oxygen content about 0.41 to 28 mg/l, pH 5.0 to 9.0 and temperature 0 to 33o C. Koan fish can be reproduce in the temperature 30.4o C. Based on data, it knows that oxygen content of Limboto lakes is about 1.73 to 9.84 mg/l and pH about 7 8.5. Limboto Lake temperature is about 25.0 to 32.9 o C with the average is 29.75 o C. If we see the ability of koan fish to eat the water plant and considering to lives prerequisite of koan fish life so the koan fish can be used as weed control in Limboto Lake.

Abstract

Single crystals of (Ph4P)DyCl4(CH3CN) is obtained from the reaction of dysprosium trichloride, DyCl3 with tetra phenyl phosphonium chloride, Ph4PCl in acetonitrile. The crystal structures monoclinic, P21/n Z = 4, a = 997.3(5); b = 1835.8(7); c = 1626.7(5) pm, ? = 104.67(4)o; R1 = 0.0469, wR2 = 0.0971 for I>2?(I)] contain the dimeric anions [Dy2(?2-Cl)2(?1- Cl)6(CH3CN)2]2- and (Ph4P)+ cation in slightly different packing modes.
