Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi saat ini telah mengubah semua tatanan sistem kehidupan yang ada termasuk di bidang Pendidikan. Tak terkecuali pendidikan tinggi, keadaan ini menjadikan seluruh perguruan tinggi menginstruksikan seluruh sivitas akademika baik dosen, tenaga pendidikan dan mahasiswa untuk melaksanakan aktivitas bekerja dan pembelajaran di rumah. Oleh karena itu sebagai lembaga yang sangat vital dalam menunjang aktivitas pembelajaran, perpustakaan harus tetap berkontribusi dan memberikan layanan sumber-sumber informasi yang relevan dan penting dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelayanan yang dilakukan Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang selama masa Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif, deskriptif, dan studi literatur. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan perpustakaan kepada sivitas akademika selama masa pandemi covid-19 meliputi pelayanan penelusuran koleksi OPAC, pelayanan koleksi digital (repository) UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, layanan peminjaman dan pengembalian koleksi. Dari pembahasan tulisan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa di masa pandemi Covid-19 layanan yang lakukan perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang adalah dalam rangka menunjang proses pembelajaran dan penelitian bagi sivitas akademika dengan menggunakan metode jarak jauh secara daring (online).

Abstract

With the current Covid 19 pandemic conditions, librarians must become literacy ambassadors (Literacy Ambassadors) for even though users in any circumstances and conditions. To become literacy ambassadors (Literacy Ambassadors), various innovations that can be done are the discovery of several new ideas, practices, or artifacts for the adoption unit. For that, some of the skills a librarian must have, namely (1). education and skills about librarianship (2). skills in the use of information technology (3). Abstract

Public libraries play a uniquely important role in an industrial neutral society, libraries provide information and differing views on a scene. The public can find out without coercion about the latest issues that concern them. This invaluable role and provision of fresh ideas is perhaps the greatest service to society that libraries provide and that no other type of institution can fulfill. Through libraries, people can empower themselves by obtaining a variety of information in accordance with the needs of their profession and their respective fields of work. Public space is inseparable from the ideas carried by a famous philosopher in Germany, namely Jurgen Habermas. The idea of public space is an idea that he popularized, that the public space is a medium for communicating information and views. As depicted in England and France, people meet, chat, discuss about new books published or new works of art being created. The public space is a medium for communicating information and views are very relevant to the role of the library as a medium of communication between authors through books or their writings and readers. In other words, the library is one of the communication media as expressed by Habermas regarding public space.

Abstract

This article explains that the existence of libraries in the modern era requires keeping up with the times by combining information services with information technology. This aims to make the library continue to survive and be able to compete with other information institutions. The goal is to improve the quality of information services in the library. In terms of improving library services, user satisfaction aspects are important in measuring the usefulness and success of information systems in libraries. The method used in this paper is literature study, with a descriptive analysis approach. In this paper the author focuses on research studies using the EUCS (End User Computing Satisfaction) model through a gender perspective approach which will be tested using the EUCS variable in full. The variables include content, accuracy, format, timeliness, ease of use, and speed of access. The author concludes that gender will have a beneficial and easy effect on interest in using information systems in libraries. This can be seen from the fact that men are more influenced by the perceived benefits of using the information system in the library, while women are more influenced by convenience.

Abstract

Digital Curation adalah salah satu aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam manajemen kearsipan. Digital Curation mencakup teknik dan kegiatan pengelolaan daur hidup data digital, proteksi data dari kerusakan, manajemen risiko, yang bertujuan menjamin agar data digital tersebut bisa diakses sekarang maupun masa yang akan datang. Dalam dunia kearsipan, banyak instansi pemerintahan yang menerapkan pengelolaan atau manajemen pengelolaan arsip elektronik. Salah satu yang cukup awal menerapkan sistem kearsipan adalah kementerian Pertanian. Sebagai salah satu pioneer dalam penerapan sistem informasi kearsipan, peneliti tertarik untuk mengidentifikasi sistem tersebut dari segi “digital curation. Penelitian dengan menggunakan Studi Kasus pada sistem informasi kearsipan yang dimiliki oleh Kementerian Pertanian yakni TNDE, Tata Naskah Dinas Elektronik. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa deskripsi dan representasi informasi berdasarkan sistem yang dibuat dalam TNDE, masing-masing form cukup detail dan informative. Akan tetapi peneliti belum mendapatkan hasil di lapangan dikarenakan sistem masih berupa uji coba. Belum diterapkan. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang SDM, dan juga sistem secara teknis dalam kerjanya. Serta perawatan atau maintenance atas sistem dan pegawai yang terlibat dalam penggunaan tata naskah dinas elektronik.

Abstract

This paper discusses the vision of “Membaca Dunia Dibaca Dunia” or Reading the World Reads the World which is the quality value of SPs UIN Jakarta. The research conducted is qualitative with a descriptive approach based on the results of observations and interviews with the head of the library and researchers as informants. Studies show that the more read the world is, the more advanced the institutions are. The Research Library of SPs UIN Jakarta makes an important contribution in realizing these values.

Abstract

This Atrikel describes the management of Static records in an institution which includes management of records, acquisition of records, schedule of retention of records and other information relating to a static archive and the ease of searching an archive through an online website that enables the ease of retrieval archive information. The method used in this study uses a qualitative type using a descriptive approach, and in the process of collecting data in the field of researchers themselves who become research instruments by collecting data from the observation process directly on the National Archives of Australia website. The results of this study indicate that the National Archives of Australia in its management is very good and its acquisition process also varies and in this case it can be seen that the National Archives of Australia has various types of collections such as paper files, have photos, audiovisual records and sound recordings so that in terms of this can make it easier for users to search information and retrieve static archive information.

Abstract

The Ombudsman Library of the Republic of Indonesia, which is part of a special library in nonstructural state institutions, has concepts, strategies, and policies in library materials development activities. This paper describes some of the concepts or strategies adopted by the Ombudsman library in developing its library materials. The purpose of this paper is that readers, especially library managers, can increase their insight and knowledge about the Ombudsman library and know the concept of the Indonesian Ombudsman library in developing library materials so that it is hoped that these concepts and strategies can be input by library managers and can meet the satisfaction of visitors who use the Ombudsman library in in terms of collection availability. The method used in this writing is through observation (Field Research), Interview (Interview), and literature study. From the results of the discussion it is known that the Ombudsman library in developing its library materials applies concepts and strategies, namely first through the purchase / acquisition of library materials with a planned budget every year. The second concept is through gifts or grants from libraries and libraries from State institutions. The third concept is through a deposit or repository, by issuing a regulation or Circular of the Chairman of the Ombudsman concerning the Obligation to Save Printed and Recorded Works, and the fourth is through the exchange of collections. With the existing concepts, strategies, and policies in the Indonesian Ombudsman library, it is hoped that collection development activities will continue for the sake of creating service satisfaction to users in the Indonesian Ombudsman environment and for the general public.
