Abstract

This study describes the effectiveness of the Ummi Method Tahsin Program in an effort to improve the competence of reading the Qur'an for TPQ teachers. This research model is qualitative research using descriptive methods (library research). The data analysis process is carried out by means of: data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the research are as follows; Effect or impact of the Ummi Method Tahsin Program implemented by the Taman Region Ummi Management in an effort to improve the competence of reading Al-qur'an prospective teachers or TPQ teachers according to the quality standards of the Ummi Method is getting better. The indicator is the increasing quality of Al-Qur'an Teachers and students in TPQ or in Islamic schools so that it has an impact on increasing the quantity of students who are included in the munaqasyah (Final Al-Qur'an Exam) organized by the Sidoarjo Regional Ummi Board 2 times a year

Abstract

This research study is to analyze the role of social service and rehabilitation centers for Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) of the East Java Provincial Social Service in serving people with psychotics. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach, by conducting interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the research obtained show that: First, the Facilitative Role in services is to meet the basic needs of PMKS by meeting the needs of facilities and infrastructure as well as clothing and food needs for PMKS. Second, the role of education in services at the PMKS Center is currently very helpful for PMKS where various programs and training have been provided to improve the welfare of people with social welfare problems (PMKS). Third, the Representational Role in PMKS center services has collaborated with various institutions and agencies to obtain external resources for training to develop the potential of each different person. Fourth, the technical role in the PMKS center is very helpful in assessing needs for developing individual, group and community potential.

Abstract

Character education is a system that teaches character values ​​with elements of knowledge, awareness and action, as well as putting these values ​​into practice. One way to develop quality character or educate children about their character is to provide knowledge about how to behave according to expectations in everyday life and apply it in society. This characteristic behavior is certainly related to relationships with society. Since humans were born into this world, consciously or unconsciously, we have studied and understood social relationships, namely the relationships between humans in society. The research method in this article uses qualitative research: Literature Study, namely a data collection method by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to research. The aim of this research is to examine the sociology of education, the sociology of education as character formation through disciplinary habituation and implementation of disciplinary character formation.

Abstract

Film is an integral part of mass communication, and in its purpose film itself as a message in conveying and offering more than just sound and meaningful images. Recently, the phenomenon of legalizing marijuana has often been discussed and constructed through the media. One of them is the documentary "Musa" by Alexander Sinaga on the YouTube channel LGN_ID TV. The aim of this research is to find out what the struggle of mothers in the use of marijuana for health means. This research uses John Fiske's semiotic analysis and qualitative methodology in a critical perspective. Based on reality patterns with codes of appearance, costume, expression, body movement, and language to the objectives of the research through the pattern of reality. The results of this study show the facts of the three mothers' struggle in the attempt to use marijuana for treatment in the documentary "Musa".
