Abstract

Abstract. This research is included for Research and Development, to produce products such as android-based learning media. The model that is used is the development of ADDIE development model. ADDIE development model has some stages which are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations. Validated products by an expert team who is consisting of media experts and expert material. Subjects of tests are high school students Number 5 Jambi who are 12 students. Validation results by media experts are classified into the excellent category (83.33%) and validation results by experts are also classified into the category of material which are very good (83.33%). After doing further revisions, media is tested in small groups. Small group trial conducted high school students Number 5 Jambi who are 12 students. Based on the overall results of media analysis, media classified as excellent category (85.83%), which means a decent media is used as a medium of learning media. Learning media can be used as a learning tool that can be used independently by students.   Keywords: Learning Media, Android, Eclipse Galileo, Plantae.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The objectives of this research were to explain the influence of RT strategy towards critical thinking. Quasi-expermental with Pretest-Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design was used in this research. The independent variable was teaching strategy (reciprocal teaching). The dependent variable was metacognitive competence, critical thinking, and the understanding of concept. The population of this research was all of the students of grade X of SMAI Al Ma’arif singosari, Malang. The sample of this research was the students of grade X-1 as an experimental group and the students of X-4 as a control group. Critical thinking was measured by an essay test. The validity and the reliability of the instruments were firstly tested. The data were taken in pretest-posttest. Anakova was used in the hypothesis test with the significance level 0.05 (P<0.05). The results of this research showed that teaching strategies influenced critical thinking. Regarding with the potential of RT, it is suggested that this strategy could be implemented so that students’ competencies, besides cognitive domain, could be empowered Key words: Reciprocal Teaching, critical thinking

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills across an interest in learning biology class X IIS SMA 11 Jambi. The design of this research is descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative research methods. Sources of data in this research is observation sheet, self-assessment questionnaires and assessment questionnaires among students. The results showed the students' critical thinking abilities viewed from 5 critical aspects of forward- thinking that provide a simple explanation of 56.34%, 69.79% Developing basic skills, Summing up 63.66%, 59.69% providing further explanation, set the strategy and tactics 69, 84%. Based on the observation of the students' critical thinking skills that are in the interest of cross criterion was 7.5%, and 92.5% higher. And based on self-assessment questionnaires, critical thinking ability of students is at a low 2.5% criterion, was 37.5%, 32.5% high, very high 27.5%. Based on the assessment questionnaire among students, students' thinking skills are the criteria were 70%, 20%, very high 7.5% and 2.5% lower. This study concluded that the level of critical thinking skills of students cross an interest in learning biology class X IIS SMA 11 Jambi are on average medium and High criteria. Based on this study suggested needs teacher effort in improving students 'critical thinking by using the right strategies that can foster students' critical thinking skills. Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research purpose is to develop multimedia learning in plant tissue isolation method. This kind of research is development research which using ADDIE development model. Before trials, this multimedia has been validated by media and material expert. Multimedia learning trials to a small group in 3 classes in SMA N 1 Kota Jambi. The media validation result, conducted in 2 stages with the final score 96% with it means very good category. The material validation result conducted in 3 stages with the final result 80% which is very good category. The result of small group trials XII MIA 1 the result is 92% , in XII MIA 2 the result is 92%, in XII MIA 4 the result is 91,33% with very good Category. Over all the conclusion is tthe development of multimedia is very good category, interesting and enable to use as multimedia learning of plant tissue isolation method . Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to develop a product that form of a collection gastropods shell preserved that can be used as a learning media both theoretical and practical work at class x senior high school. The product is a collection of learning media preserved shell of gastropod which has three parts, namely the wardrobe collection, collection boxes and shelves collection. This type of research is ADDIE development model. The results showed the revised product media experts, subject matter experts and trial of respondents is as follows. Media validation is performed three times.  At the first validation obtained a percentage of 50.7% and categorized not good. The second validation obtained percentage of 65.3% and is average, and the third validation obtained a percentage of 76% categorized as good and media can be used to trial. Then, validation matter is done four times. At the first validation obtained a percentage of 29.3% and classified is not very good. At the second validation obtained a percentage of 65.3% and is average. At the third validation obtained a percentage of 82.7% and good categorized. At the fourth validation obtained by percentage of 88% categorized as very good. After validated and revisions, the product tested on small groups and obtained the students' response was 91% with a very good category. Learning media of collection gastropods shell preserved feasible for use in the learning process.   Key word:  media learning , a collection of gastropod shells preserved development

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This experiment uses a model of procedural development of ADDIE instructional design. Data were obtained in the form of quantitative data obtained through a questionnaire. The data obtained in the subsequent descriptive-quantitative analysis. Validation by media experts to obtain a score of 60 with a percentage of 93.75% with interpretation of "very good". Validation by matter experts to obtain a score of 74 with a percentage of 92.5% with the interpretation of "very good". Based on the research that has been conducted in small groups with the subject of as many as 12 students gain a percentage of 88.95 were included into the category of "very good". The number of respondents was 427. Judging criteria for the interpretation of the scale 4 with a score range of 393-483 with the results obtained 427 so that the level of its category as very good. Based on the results of these studies indicate that the media edu - comic developed well received by the respondent and was suggested as a learning media on the subject matter of the interaction of living organisms and their environment.   Keywords: Edu-comics, Interaction of living beings and the environment.
