Abstract

Anemia is defined as a decrease in haemoglobin concentration and the number of erythrocytes. One source of iron in vegetable is the papaya leaf. This study aimed to determine the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin levels after the application of Carica papaya leaf on mice through the sodium nitrite induction. The research design used was Randomized Design Complete by using five treatments with five repetitions on each treatment. The data measured in this study was number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin levels of rats before being given sodium nitrite, after being given sodium nitrite and after being given papaya leaf juice. The data obtained were analyzed statistically by using variance analysis (ANOVA), and the data that significantly different was then analyzed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that papaya leaf juice significantly affected the increase of erythrocyte number and hemoglobin level. The concentration that gives the best effect in increasing the number of erythrocytes is 50% papaya leaf juice concentration and 25% papaya leaf juice concentration which gives the best effect in increasing the hemoglobin content. Further, the findings can be used as baseline information for further scientific investigation for using papaya leaf as an alternative medicine in curing anemia disease and analyzing phytochemical, pharmaceutical and other biological activities on other plant or vegetable and to conducted further research by using female mice and pregnant female mice.

Abstract

Learning style is the capital of a student to absorbinformation. The method used in this research is quantitative method, whichis the purpose is to know the influence of SAVI approach and learning styleto students' creative thinking ability in mathematics when compared withdirect learning. The instruments used are tests of creative thinking abilitiesand learning styles of students. The result of data analysis using statistical testthat is (1) there is influence of SAVI approach and learning style to studentcreative thinking ability. (2) there is influence of SAVI approach to SAVIcreative thinking ability. (3) there is influence of student learning style tostudent creative thinking ability. Abstract

Aims to produce a proper practicum guide based on the aspects of the validity of the material and media. The research data was collected using the ADDIE model. The results of the study focused on the data of the development stage. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively in the form of suggestions from the validator and quantitative analysis in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire. Research in the development stage uses an instrument, namely a material and media expert validation questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the practicum guide product developed was declared feasible in terms of the validity of the material and media, with a percentage score of 94% and 86% in the very good category. The results of the trial showed that in the small group trial 80% (good) and the large group trial 87% (very good).Bertujuan menghasilkan panduan praktikum yang layak berdasarkan aspek kevalidan materi dan media. Data penelitian dihimpun menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian difokuskan pada data tahap development. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif berupa saran dari validator dan analisis kuantitatif berupa angket skala likert. Penelitian tahap development menggunakan instrumen yaitu lembar angket validasi ahli materi dan media. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa produk panduan praktikum yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dalam aspek kevalidan materi dan media, dengan skor persentase yaitu 94% dan 86% kategori sangat baik. Hasil ujicoba didapatkan bahwa pada ujicoba kelompok kecil 80% (baik) dan ujicoba kelompok besar 87% (sangat baik).Kata kunci: Project Based Learning, Keragaman genetik, Panduan Praktikum DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v9i3.22984

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the activities of teachers and students as well as conceptual understanding of students in terms of multiple intelligences of students by using classroom action research which was conducted in three cycles and each cycle carried out in two meetings. Data collection methods are observation, questionnaire, and tests in each cycle. Based on the results of research activities of teachers and students showed an increase from cycle to cycle. With the results in the first cycle is 57.29%, the second cycle is 73.44%, and the third cycle is 79.43% while the activity of students in the first cycle is 56.51%, the second cycle is 71.09% and the third cycle is 78.13%. Conceptual understanding of students in each intelligence also increased, namely: (1) Interpersonal intelligence and mathematical intelligence in cycle I was 90%, cycle II was 97.92%, and cycle III was 98.21%. (2) Interpersonal intelligence and intra-personal intelligence in cycle I was 56.33%, cycle II was 75.83%, and cycle III was 82.86%. (3) Intra personal intelligence and musical intelligence in cycle I is 70%, cycle II is 83.33%, and cycle III is 87.50%. (4) Interpersonal intelligence and body movement intelligence in cycle I is 50%, cycle II is 62.5%, and cycle III is 71.43%. (5) Intra personal intelligence and linguistic intelligence in cycle I is 60%, cycle II is 70.83%, and cyce III is 78.57%. and (6) Naturalist intelligence and intelligence body movements in cycle I were 85%, cycle II was 87.5%, and cycle III was 92.86%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi segiempat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), pelaksanaan (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Swasta Islam Terpadu Trio Batanghari tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan uji coba perorangan yaitu dengan satu orang guru, uji coba produk pada kelompok kecil yang terdiri dari 8 orang siswa dan uji coba kelompok besar terdiri dari 22 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi ahli dan angket uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar serta tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Analisis data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebuah LKPD berbasis pendekatan RME pada materi segiempat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, penilaian isi materi dan desain LKPD oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain LKPD, penilaian dan respon siswa terhadap LKPD yang telah dibuat, dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa terhadap penggunaan LKPD berbasis pendekatan RME  pada materi segiempat dengan memberikan post test.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, LKPD, Pendekatan RME This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of the Student Worksheet based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on rectangular material to improve students' creative thinking skills. This research is research and development that uses the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 7th grade students of the SMP Swasta Islam Terpadu Trio Batanghari in the 2021/2022 academic year. In this study, individual trials were conducted with one teacher, product trials in small groups consisting of 8 students and large group trials consisting of 22 students. The instruments used in this study were expert validation questionnaires and individual test questionnaires, small group trials and large group trials and tests of students' creative thinking skills. The data analysis of this research was conducted using descriptive statistics. The results of this study are an student worksheet based on the RME approach on rectangular material to improve students' creative thinking skills, assessment of material content and student worksheet design by material experts and student worksheet design experts, student assessments and responses to student worksheet that have been made, and students' creative thinking ability to use student worksheet based on the RME approach on rectangular material by providing a post test.Keywords: Creative Thinking Skills, RME, Student Worksheet

Abstract

Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan biologi saat ini mulai merambah ke bidang molekuler. Bidang molekulersering menjadi acuan untuk menjawab permasalahan- permasalahan biologi yang selama ini tidak bisa dijawabdengan cara analisis pengamatan biasa. Apalagi tingkat keakuratan dengan merujuk ke molekuler sangat tinggidibandingkan dengan cara yang konvensional. Analisis molekuler dalam hal ini adalah analisis kepada DNAorganisme tersebut. Banyak metode yang dapat dilakukan jika kita ingin menganalisis DNA.. Salah satu metodeanalisis DNA adalah Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD). RAPD mengidentifikasi polimorfis DNA dariorganisme yang diteliti. DNA organisme tersebut diamplifikasi dengan teknik PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction).Suatu organisme dapat berbeda pada tingkat DNA dalam hal perbedaan urutan nukleotida.

Abstract

This research aim to find out the effect of knowledge of ecosystem concept in outdoor and indoor environmental learning to responsible environmental students behavior. The research was conducted in SMAN 5 Bekasi using experiment methods. This researh nvolving  70 students chosen by using cluster random sampling. The data analysis and interpretation indicated that: 1.Overall, there is not effect between of the ecosystem concept knowledge to responsible environmental students behavior. 2. Students with high knowledge about ecosystems concept who treated with outdoor environmental learning is higher than indoor in  the responsible environmental behavior of students 3. Students with low knowledge about ecosystems concept who treated with outdoor environmental learning is lower than indoor in  the responsible environmental behavior of students Therefore, indoor and outdoor environmental learning implemented in school must be attentionknowledge of ecosystem concept in order to effect to responsible environmental students behavior.   Key words: outdoor and indoor environmental learning, knowledge of ecosystem concept, responsible environmental students behavior

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual pada materi ekosistem, untuk mengetahui cara pengembangan modul, serta untuk mengetahui tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual pada materi ekosistem. Pengembangan ini mengikuti model 4D. Validasi desain modul oleh ahli desain sebanyak 2 tahapsementara validasi modul oleh ahli materi sebanyak 3 tahap.Selain itu, diperoleh skor penilaian guru saat uji coba adalah sebesar 82 dengan persentase 82% kategori sangat baik. Di sisi lain respon siswa perorangan terhadap modul diperoleh skor sebesar 50,6 dengan persentase 84,3% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dan respon siswa kelompok kecil terhadap modul diperoleh skor sebesar 52,8 dengan persentase 88% kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan proses dari validasi ahli hingga uji coba perorangan dan kelompok kecil pada siswa di SMP Al-Falah Kota Jambi, secara keseluruhan modul pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual ini dikategorikan sangat baik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The proper media will easy students to understand subject matter in class. This study aims to develop digital media in the form of encyclopedia for vertebrate as a source of student learning. The This research and development produce digital encyclopedias of vertebrate that is used as media in learning biology. The model used in this study is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Products that have been developed are then validated by material experts and media experts. The validation process by the two experts was carried out three times before finally the prouduct was declared feasible to be tested both for teachers and students. The response showed that biology teacher in the SMA 4 Muaro Jambi assesed the product as "very good". The results of the small group trials obtained a percentage value of 96.3% (very good category), while the large group trials obtained a percentage value of 84.6% (very good category). Based on the results of these trials, overall the digital encyclopedia of vertebrate animals based on Android Studio is categorized very good to be used as one of the learning resources in learning biology in high school.
