Abstract

Anomalies in cybersecurity systems are increasingly complex and sophisticated, making detection difficult using traditional rule-based and signature-based approaches. In facing these challenges, machine learning is crucial to improve real-time anomaly detection capabilities. This study aims to explore the role of machine learning in detecting anomalies in cybersecurity systems. The research method is carried out using a qualitative approach, collecting data from relevant literature and interviews with experts in the fields of cybersecurity and machine learning. The results of this study indicate that machine learning can effectively improve the ability of cybersecurity systems to detect and respond to threats more quickly and accurately. Implementing machine learning allows for deeper analysis of complex cybersecurity data, recognizing unexpected anomalous patterns, and adapting to new attacks. Despite challenges such as data variability and dynamic operational environments, the evaluation of model performance shows significant progress in protecting information systems from increasingly complex threats. The future of anomaly detection in cybersecurity promises the possibility of developing more sophisticated technologies, strengthening defenses against evolving threats, and improving overall security.

Abstract

Cultural differences, economic and social development, and demographic trends among the countries of the Western Balkans are the causes of the conflict. This research focuses on tourism development strategies in conflict countries in the Western Balkans. This study raises the question of how conflict states develop long-term strategies for sustainable tourism. The method used is exploratory (qualitative) which produces a tourism development strategy. The theory used is sustainable tourism by Ramon Adillon using seven elements for sustainable tourism development. The result shows there is a correlation and mutual support between each of the main components of the ‘Diamond Sustainable’ as well as the main components and supporting factors. This research shows that they have strengths and opportunities that can be optimized as a strategy to maintain tourism, on the other hand, the existence of weaknesses and threats can hinder the sustainability of tourism in the Western Balkan.

Abstract

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a deeply rooted and prolonged struggle, has been the subject of extensive international debate and scrutiny. This article delves into the contentious allegations of genocide perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian population. By examining the historical context, political dynamics, humanitarian impact, and international responses, this study seeks to provide a nuanced and comprehensive analysis of the situation. Beginning with a detailed overview of the term "genocide" as defined by the United Nations Genocide Convention of 1948, the article assesses whether the actions of Israel align with this legal definition. The historical context traces the conflict from the pre-1948 period, through the establishment of Israel and the subsequent wars, to the current state of affairs. The examination of political and social dynamics includes an analysis of Israeli policies towards Palestinians, the response and actions of Palestinian governance, and the role of media and propaganda in shaping public perception. This comprehensive review synthesizes the evidence and arguments from various perspectives, questioning the applicability of the term "genocide" and exploring alternative frameworks such as ethnic cleansing, apartheid, or crimes against humanity. The conclusion underscores the complexity of the conflict and the importance of continued dialogue, humanitarian efforts, and pursuit of a peaceful resolution. Through this analytical lens, the article aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the severe humanitarian issues at its core.
