Abstract

The demand for printing services is increasing as people increasingly seek convenience in conveying information. As a result, the printing business has become more attractive to many individuals. Printing itself is an industrial process capable of producing text and images on a large scale. In this research, the author conducted a study at a printing company located in Jombang, where data management is still done conventionally. In practical terms, the company faces difficulties in handling transaction data and generating reports. With the rapid advancement of technology, most companies have moved away from conventional data management methods. The benefits of sophisticated technology facilitate companies in creating and disseminating information. Therefore, the author proposes a web-based printing management information system to streamline data management for printing companies. Data collection is carried out through literature review and field observations. The system development follows the waterfall approach, and the system design utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML). This system is developed using PHP programming language, Laravel framework, and MySQL DBMS.

Abstract

In order to increase agricultural yields in the Jombang Regency area to be higher, innovations are needed that can have a positive impact on the progress of the current agricultural sector. One aspect that can support this progress is the existence of an information sistem for data collection on the distribution of agricultural land. The distribution of agricultural land is very important to know because with this data we can estimate many things such as prediction of seed needs, fertilizer needs, estimated yields, commodity potential, food security potential and so on. In addition, this data on the distribution of agricultural land can also be used to help monitor soil fertility in the framework of the Agricultural Development Strategy Command (Kostra Tani) program initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture. With many things that can be realized with the data on the distribution of agricultural land, it can be concluded that the data on the distribution of agricultural land is a very important aspect that can be used for various purposes. Thus, this agricultural land distribution data acts as master data or master data in the development of the agricultural sector so that it is superior and has better quality. In this sistem, the data collection method uses observation (observation) and surveys using specially designed applications.

Abstract

Application (Public Safety Center) PSC 119 SIBANGJO is a website-based application which is used as a support in the field of Patient Information Systems in emergency services. In using the PSC application, it already provides several features that are quite complex, besides that the user or users can also easily access the application, this is the influence of the existing usability. The usability test tests how users use and understand the application and measures how satisfied they are with it. Then to assess the usability testing of the application, it is necessary to use aspects of the assessment using application testing tools. In this study, testing was carried out on the PSC 119 SIBANGJO application to see the existing page functions. Therefore, it is necessary to test the application on aspects of use and accessibility with the aim that users are comfortable using the application and we can find out some of the problems that exist in PSC applications. To test the application, a software test is used, namely PowerMapper with several aspects of testing, namely Overall quality, Errors, Accessibility, Compatibility, Search engine, Standard (W3C) and Usability testing. The results of testing the application found that there were still a number of problems but did not affect the performance of the PSC application features, so it can be said that the PSC 119 SIBANGJO application is feasible to use as it should

Abstract

Canteen 375 which is a business in the field of providing food and beverage services which is established in an educational environment in Peterongan Jombang. Canteen 375 has several business processes that have been running, including menu ordering, stock inventory and financial reporting. However, in existing processes, modeling and analysis will be carried out so that the process is declared valid or invalid, even if it is valid, whether it is necessary to propose a better business process. So this research will try to discuss the modeling of ongoing business processes and conduct an analysis in terms of business process validity, analysis of the time required and the resources needed in a business process simulation. From the current business processes, new and proposed business processes will be proposed and try to provide a level of optimization in employee work. In the above business processes that have been discussed, the level of effectiveness and efficiency increases by modeling the proposed business processes, in this case the menu ordering business process has an increase in the value of the simulation results by 10%, from 80% to 90% initially, this is driven by the use of applications which directly touches customers in ordering menus while in financial reporting there is also time efficiency needed in financial reporting if the reporting process is presented directly in existing applications.

Abstract

Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in providing its services, especially in the field of financial administration, still adopts a conventional approach. In this method, hostel administrators manually record the flow of money both incoming and outgoing in traditional financial books. The preparation of financial reports is also only done once every three to six months. However, there is a risk that financial data may be erased when the registrar changes jobs. Various problems arise as a result of this approach, such as errors in recording the amount of money, limited access resulting in a lack of transparency and up-to-date financial information, the possibility of data being lost or damaged due to negligence or human error, lack of supervision which makes violations difficult to track and takes a long time to detect, unavailability structured financial records making it difficult to refer to previous years' budgets, and making financial reports that take up too much time. To overcome these problems, the authors have designed and built a web-based financial administration information system for this Islamic boarding school. The approach used is the Scrum method with an Agile framework, and utilizes the Laravel framework. The programming language used is native PHP, and the database system used is MySQL.
