Abstract

Population density in Indonesia is still a serious problem that has not been resolved to date. migration and urbanization carried out by people from year to year which has an impact on the density of urban areas in certain areas. Seeing that the current condition of the city is no longer possible to build large houses for those who live in urban areas, this is the main reason why it is important to design simple rental flats (Rusunawa) in Gorontalo City using a behavioral architecture approach. The methods used in this research are planning, design and descriptive methods. The sample in this research is site analysis, building plan concepts based on real field data taken from survey samples. The result of this design is the arrangement of outdoor space and spatial planning on the basis of behavior. Simple Rental Flats in Gorontalo City are designed to reduce the negative impact of the spread of slum settlements, changing people's lifestyles is important in environmental planning in Gorontalo City. The main objective of the research on the Rusunawa design itself is to produce housing that accommodates the lives of people with below average economic standards and improves the living environment of the city of Gorontalo which is becoming increasingly slum as time goes by.

Abstract

Islam is a religion which Allah has sent down to the Prophet Muhammad as a mercy to all mankind. There are three main aspects to consider, namely the aspects of Aqidah (faith), Shariah (norms and laws), and Akhlak. (moral atau budaya). The need for a container that fully informs Islam and becomes a reference place for activities that breathe Islam that can unite Muslim communities in particular in Bone Bolango district, so it is necessary a place that can accommodate activities that have Islamic nuances in one place. So we need a facility that can accommodate the three, which is an Islamic Center. The province of Gorontalo until now is still in the planning phase by the government, in Bone Bolango district which is now the research site has an area of 2.12 hectares that at the time there is already a mosque used as a place of worship of the surrounding community, Islamic Center has benefits for Hajj Jemaah which in the site planned several supporting facilities for the Hajj jemaah district of Bone bolango, This research uses qualitative methods and observations to meet the needs that exist within Islamic center, for the analysis applied that is micro and macro analysis in order to obtain criteria as initial in Islamic Centre planning. The final result of this research is the application of the concept of Green Architecture in the Islamic Center area, and also the application to the supporting facilities in it, as well as the addition of Islamic center support facilities, this application is carried out according to the appropriate conditions in the Bone Bolango district, in order to create a comfortable area for users.

Abstract

Indonesia, with a population of 275,773.8 million people, faces challenges in providing adequate housing. Electricity demand will reach 1,172 kWh per capita in 2022, dominated by fossil energy. The National Energy Council (DEN) seeks to increase the contribution of new renewable energy (EBT) to 25.9% by 2025. Sulawesi Island has various traditional houses, such as Tambii, Tongkonan, Walewangko, Mandar, and Dulohupa. Gorontalo City as the capital of Gorontalo Province has solar energy potential that has not been utilized optimally, especially in residential homes, due to the high price of solar panels. Gorontalo, with its hot climate, can utilize solar energy through solar panels to reduce dependence on conventional electricity. Awareness of energy sustainability and public education regarding renewable energy technology, especially solar panels, are very necessary to create efficient and environmentally friendly homes in line with the objectives of the National Energy Policy.

Abstract

The development of tourist objects will certainly contribute to the growth of the area around these tourist objects. Until now, Gorontalo Province has many tourist objects whose development has not received much attention so that it can cause a reduction in visitors to these tours, one of which is the Pentadio Resort which has an area of 14 ha and is located in Gorontalo Regency. The specialty of the Pentadio Resort tour is the hot spring bath and visitors can witness the bursts of hot springs. However, the current condition of the Pentadio Resort Hot Springs area is very concerning, the local community is not able to optimally utilize and manage these potentials as well as the lack of attention from the Government and the lack of other supporting facilities such as children's playgrounds that are not well organized. This research aims to create a tourist destination design that applies the concept of modern tropical architecture by improving the quality of tourist facilities such as accommodation, recreational and entertainment facilities. This study uses qualitative methods and observations as a first step in determining aspects of the design concept for the development of tourist areas. The analytical method applied is micro analysis of the site planning site and macro analysis is determining the criteria for site analysis in the area. The final result of this study is the application of modern tropical architectural concepts to sustainable natural tourism areas. The results of the study show that there are 3 concepts for the development of spatial design visualization in the pentadio resort tourism area, namely the core zone, buffer zone, and service zone. Development in this area can meet the needs of visitors and create open spaces that are comfortable, safe, fun, cultured in the development of pentadio resort tourism.

Abstract

Desain selubung bangunan memiliki peranan penting dalam menciptakan kenyamanan termal di dalam bangunan serta memberi kesan indah pada visual bangunan. Tidak hanya itu, desain selubung yang baik juga dapat memberikan dampak terhadap penggunaan energi di dalam bangunan. Penerapan fasad selubung ganda saat ini menjadi salah satu upaya untuk mencapai desain berkelanjutan. Berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengkaji efisiensi penggunaan fasad selubung ganda terhadap kenyamanan termal dan pengurangan energi bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau penerapan fasad selubung ganda pada bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Gorontalo terkait efektifitasnya dalam menurunkan cahaya matahari yang masuk ke dalam bangunan, serta visualnya terhadap bangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, yakni mengumpulkan data kualitatif dengan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung di lapangan atau lingkungan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemasangan fasad selubung ganda dapat menurunkan suhu dalam ruangan. Hal ini dikarenakan cahaya matahari tidak langsung masuk ke dalam bangunan karena terhalang oleh secondary skin bangunan. Hal ini berarti fasad selubung ganda dapat diterapkan pada bangunan-bangunan di daerah tropis untuk tujuan penghematan energi.

Abstract

Semiotika dalam arsitektur merupakan bahasa simbol yang memberi dan memahami informasi kepada pengamat lewat bentuk-bentuk dan pesan tertentu. Hal yang melatarbelakangi pentingnya kajian ini adalah proses pemaknaan sebuah bangunan yang ingin disampaikan, setidaknya akan mampu dihayati oleh masyarakat umum dan pengamat bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan tanda berdasarkan semiotika Pierce: ikon, indeks dan simbol pada bangunan Auditorium Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan mengamati fenomena secara lebih rinci tentang keadaan bangunan Auditorium UNG yang dianggap sebagai tanda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Auditorium UNG termasuk yang menerapkan konsep Arsitektur Semiotika dengan klasifikasi berdasarkan Ikon, Indeks, dan Simbol yang terdapat pada 7 aspek bangunan auditorium yaitu pada bentuk bangunan, ornamen dan elemen arsitektural, pintu masuk, tangga, warna, atap, dan interior. Penerapan tanda Ikon terdapat pada ornamen fasad bangunan dan roaster. Penerapan tanda indeks terdapat pada bentuk bangunan, atap, dan plafon pada interior bangunan. Penerapan tanda simbol terdapat pada pintu masuk, tangga, warna, dan panggung auditorium.
