Abstract

Outdoor Learning activities are essential to developing children's abilities. Children's independent development is essential to explore children's abilities. Growth and development are continuous processes from conception to adulthood influenced by intrinsic or environmental factors. Development is an increase in abilities in body structures and functions in a regular and predictable pattern as a result of the maturing process. The purpose of this study was to statistically analyze the effect of project-based outdoor learning activities on children's independent development. The method used in this research is pre-experiment. The types of design used in the research are pre-test-post-test. The population studied is kindergarten children influenced by project-based author learning activities on children's independence. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling. Research showed that the t-test resulted in 0.000 < 0.05. It shows that using the outdoor learning method for children's developing independence is more significant than before when only using the method of conversing in class. Significantly, project-based outdoor learning affects the growth and development of children's independence aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education can be seen in the success of formal education in the form of student achievement. A learning process in the activities determines student achievement carried out by teachers and students. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant influence of teacher motivation on learning achievement at Islamic Senior High Schools statistically. This research used the associative quantitative method to determine the effect or relationship between two or more variables. This research place is at the Islamic Senior High School of Nurussyahid, Kertajati, Majalengka, Indonesia. The number of samples is a total sampling of 18 teachers. The result shows that implementing teacher work motivation in Islamic Senior High School Nurussyahid can be categorized as good. The achievement of Islamic Senior High School of Nurussyahid students can be categorized as good. Implementing teacher work motivation has a positive and significant effect on student achievement. The success or failure of a student's achievement in Islamic Senior High School of them is determined by the provision of motivation by teachers.

Abstract

The fading of character values causes problems such as fights, brawls, and violence. Through the reform of educational programs, it can realize morals for the future sustainability of the younger generation. Life skills shape humans into quality humans and direct the goals of human life. The purpose of this research is to describe the Islamic educational values and the life skills of students at the University. This research is field research and uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location is on the female campus of University of Darussalam Gontor, with research subjects being Kyai, Ustadz, Ustadzah, administrators, and students. Primary data is sourced from interviews, and secondary data is sourced from relevant books, articles, and documents. Based on data analysis research and interviews, it can be concluded that the foundation of the philosophy at University of Darussalam Gontor is guided by the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah, the soul/philosophy of life. The fostering of student life skills creates University of Darussalam Gontor graduates who can fight for their totality selflessly and firmly to their Islam beliefs. They are implementing campus activities by optimizing the 24-hour educational process based on discipline in the Islamic boarding school curriculum.

Abstract

In the learning process of course, some things hinder the learning process, especially learning motivation. This study aims to raise issues and efforts to increase student motivation at MTSN (State Islamic Junior High School) 11 Cirebon with the humanistic counseling method. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The study results show that the humanistic counseling method has been applied at MTSN 11 Cirebon. Teachers cannot only rely on one method but need to integrate humanistic, behavioristic, and psychoanalytic. Some of the problems of student motivation at MTSN 11 Cirebon are the lack of student activity in the classroom, students still being reluctant to the teacher, a crisis of self-confidence, not collecting assignments, etc. As for some of the efforts and basic techniques of teachers using humanistic counseling, the first is to combine humanistic values ​​in the counseling system, such as self-awareness, freedom of opinion, responsibility, search for meaning in the learning process, and respect for time. Second, the teacher tries to help students to have a correct understanding of learning motivation. The teachers are very important in helping students to study well so that learning outcomes are maximized.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease has an impact on the education sector. Educators use a combined learning method between face-to-face and online learning to break the chain of virus spread. One of the proper methods is blended learning with the help of information and communication technology to achieve learning objectives. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the blended learning method on the physical examination abilities of nursing students. This study uses a pre-experiment. The research location is in STIKes (College of Health Sciences), Cirebon, Indonesia, with a sample of 100 Nursing students. The technique uses purposive sampling and the N-Gain value analysis. The result shows a significant difference in the competence of the physical examination before and after getting the blended learning method. The blended learning method is proven effective in increasing the competence of the physical examination of nursing students. In addition, an exciting learning process through online and conventional media provides a high satisfaction value. Blended learning is one of the learning solutions in the new era of the COVID-19 pandemic to suppress the spread of COVID-19 and improve students' abilities.
