Maddah: Journal of Advanced Dawah Management Research adalah jurnal ilmiah yang dikelola oleh Program Studi Manajemen Dakwah, Fakultas Dakwah, UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. Jurnal ini berfokus pada pengembangan teori, konsep, dan praktik manajemen dalam konteks dakwah Islam. Jurnal ini memfasilitasi publikasi penelitian berkualitas yang berkontribusi pada kemajuan ilmu manajemen dakwah, dengan mengangkat isu-isu strategis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat muslim saat ini. Skop penelitian yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini mencakup berbagai aspek manajemen dakwah, termasuk manajemen organisasi dakwah, teknologi dalam dakwah, ekonomi Islam dan dakwah, serta manajemen komunikasi dakwah. Selain itu, jurnal ini juga mencakup topik pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui dakwah, kebijakan publik yang berkaitan dengan dakwah, kajian gender dalam dakwah, serta pengembangan kepemimpinan dakwah. Dengan skop yang luas ini, Maddah berupaya menjadi wadah untuk inovasi dan pengembangan ilmu di bidang manajemen dakwah, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi penguatan dakwah Islam di tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

Az-Zahra Foundation (Rumah Kita) is a religious social institution, as a forum for students or foster children to gain socio-religious knowledge located in Griya Mangli Indah Housing Jember. Research focus 1) What are the goals to be achieved in preaching? 2) What are the strategies used to achieve the goals of da'wah? 3) What are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in delivering da'wah? This study uses a qualitative approach, data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative. The results of the study are so that children do not drop out of school, get a proper education, both formal and religious, and get the love of their parents that they should get. The strategy to achieve the goal of preaching is by giving the name (Rumah Kita) so that students are free and not awkward in carrying out all activities at the Foundation because it is like their own home, providing proper formal education and non-formal education to students, providing tutoring facilities to students so that they can support their formal learning at school, provide teaching aids about religious activities, computer laboratory as a learning tool for millennial-era students, practice the knowledge they have acquired. Santri can apply it in daily life in the long term. Supporting and inhibiting factors are the established rules, methods, strategies, media and means to facilitate the delivery of da'wah. The inhibiting factors are the different personalities and backgrounds of students, the delivery of da'wah is not understood, the use of time is not conducive and students are naughty.

Abstract

Leadership is the approach of a leader to motivate and manage all members of his group or organization to achieve the desired organizational goals and maximize employee performance. In this case, each leader has a strategy that is applied to employees to improve the performance of their employees. The focus of this research problem includes: 1. The leadership strategy of the head of KUA in improving employee performance in the religious affairs office (KUA) Semboro district, Jember Regency, 2. Supporting factors and obstacles in improving employee performance at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Semboro District, Jember Regency. While the purpose of this study is in line with the focus of the problem. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative research method, The researcher employs observation, interview, and documentation approaches to obtain data. To use triangulation to check the data's validity. The results of this study explain that the Leadership Strategy of the Head of KUA in Improving Employee Performance in KUA Semboro District, Jember Regency as follows: establish good communication and cooperation with employees, control employee performance every day, provide motivation and approach to employees, evaluate, provide training and development, and providing rewards and punishments to employees, while the supporting factors in improving employee performance at the Office of Religious Affairs Semboro District are the available office facilities and skills possessed by employees, besides that there are inhibiting factors, namely frequent technical disturbances and lack of communication between employees.

Abstract

BAZNAS Jember is an official institution that was established in August 2017, through the Regent's Decree Number: 188.45/445/1.12/2017 concerning the Appointment of the Head of BAZNAS Jember Regency to carry out the task of managing Zakat, Infaq and Alms in Jember Regency. Optimization is a process to optimize a solution so that the best solution is found from a set of existing alternative solutions. In this case, each zakat institution has its own way of optimizing its performance. The focus of the research in this thesis is how to optimize the zakat management of BAZNAS Jember in reducing poverty in the SDGs Sukorejo village, Bangsalsari Jember and how big the role of BAZNAS Jember zakat in alleviating poverty in the SDGs Sukorejo village, Bangsalsari Jember. The research method uses a participatory qualitative descriptive approach. The research subject uses a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis of this thesis uses three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. Meanwhile, the validity of the data used triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of this study indicate that: 1. In optimizing the management of zakat in reducing poverty in SDGs Sukorejo Village, Bangsalsari Jember, BAZNAS Jember distributes zakat in two ways, namely consumptively and productively. 2. How big is the role of BAZNAS Jember zakat in reducing poverty? In SDGs Village Sukorejo Bangsalsari Jember, the role is very large seen from the achievements of the program that has been carried out by BAZNAS Jember, namely in the form of direct and indirect assistance, consumptive and productive zakat assistance. One example of BAZNAS Jember's assistance in SDGs Village Sukorejo Bangsalsari Jember is providing entrepreneurship training for mother's laundry soap and is currently a permanent production of SDGs Village Sukorejo Bangsalsari Jember.

Abstract

Motivation is important thing to be considered leader. If they want every employee be able make positive contribution to achievement of an institution, because with motivation, employee will have high enthusiasm in carrying out the tasks assigned to him. If he does not have motivation to work, the results will not be effective and also satisfying. focus of problems :1)What is Leadership Strategy of Head KUA in Improving Employee Work Motivation in the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Siliragung District?.2)How is strategy of the Head KUA in overcoming the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors in Increasing Employee Work Motivation in Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Siliragung District? The aims of this study were:1)To determine leadership strategy of Head KUA in Improving Work Motivation of Employees at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Siliragung District.2)To find out the strategy the Supporting Factors and Inhibiting Factors of Head KUA in Improving Employee Work Motivation at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Siliragung District.The type of research used is field research, which can also be referred to as method for collecting qualitative data. This study uses descriptive taxonomy, The data used in-depth interviews, participatory observation,and documentation.The results this study include: 1)The strategy of the head KUA in increasing employee motivation in KUA Siliragung District is recognizing personal well, recognizing employee performance, being open to employees, and providing sense of security. 2)strategy of the head KUA in overcoming the supporting and inhibiting factors is providing assistance always providing motivation and approach to personal employees.

Abstract

Zakat funds are one of the main sources of state finance in Islam. Zakat is one of the elements used to calculate national income in Islam. Zakat is not a personal matter whose implementation is left only on personal awareness, but zakat is a right and obligation for every Muslim who is able and has met the requirements of Islamic law. The focus of the problems studied in this thesis are: 1). How to optimize the management of zakat funds in the Integrated Zakat Village in alleviating poverty for mustahik? 2). What are the forms of optimizing the management of zakat funds in the Integrated Zakat Village? The aims of this research are: 1). Describes the optimization of the management of zakat funds in the Integrated Zakat Village in alleviating poverty for mustahik. 2). Describes the form of optimizing the management of zakat funds in the Integrated Zakat Village. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis in this thesis went through three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. As for the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: 1). In optimizing the management of zakat funds in alleviating poverty for mustahik in the Integrated Zakat Village, the theory of zakat fund management has been used, namely planning, implementation, organization and supervision. Regarding the management of zakat funds, the Integrated Zakat Village has three parts, namely collection, distribution, and utilization. 2). From several forms of optimizing the management of zakat funds, the Integrated Zakat Village is currently only focused on the form of assistance to the poor and needy assistance, and for other forms of assistance it has not been implemented evenly, because there are still several obstacles, such as muzakki who do not understand about their obligations. zakat to clean up his property. In addition, some ASNs do not all deposit their zakat through (UPZ) the Ministry of Religion of Jember Regency, because some of them already have a place to deposit their zakat. Thus, this affects the acquisition of zakat funds that will be collected in the Integrated Zakat Village. Keywords: Management of zakat funds, poverty alleviation.zakat to clean up his property. Abstract

Zakat, infaq and alms are one source of income for Muslims in empowering the Muslim community. No wonder there are many institutions that manage zakat, infaq and alms to empower Muslims, one of which is Baznas Jember. This research focuses on three things, namely, how to optimize the distribution of zakat, infaq and alms in increasing the status of mustahik to become muzakki, how Baznas' efforts are to increase the status of mustahik to become muzakki and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the distribution of ZIS in increasing mustahik to muzakki in the SDGs Bangsalsari village. Jember. This study aims to determine the distribution of zakat, infaq and alms in increasing the status of mustahik to muzakki in the village of SDGs Bangsalsari Jember. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research research (field research). The results of this study indicate that: 1) Optimization of the distribution of zakat, infaq and alms in an effort to increase the status of mustahik to muzakki in the village of SDGs Bangsalsari Jember, namely the distribution of consumptive zakat and productive zakat, direct and indirect distribution. 2) What are the efforts of Baznas Jember in improving the status of mustahik to become muzakki in the village of SDGs Bangsalsari Jember, namely by providing business capital assistance, entrepreneurship training, mentoring and participating in promoting the products produced by mustahik. 3) The supporting and inhibiting factors for the distribution of ZIS in increasing the status of mustahik to become muzakki are, a) the following supporting factors, sufficient field human resources, the existence of business capital assistance funds and entrepreneurship training; b) while the inhibiting factors are the distribution of ZIS that is not right on target, weak control/assistance and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Religious awareness means that an adherent of a religion lives, internalize and integrate religious values ​​into his personality so that it will become part of his heart and personality that will affect his attitudes and behavior in social life. The appreciation of religious norms includes the norms of human relations with God, relationship with society and the environment. A life based on religious values ​​will foster a healthy personality which contains elements of religion and a fairly firm faith. And vice versa, people whose souls are shaken and far from religion, the individual will get angry easily, hopeless, disappointed, and not being able to adapt well to the surrounding environment so that it will tend to be a problem for others. And especially for teenagers who are still unstable, then religious awareness needs to be built in them.

Abstract

Everyone struggles to change their destiny without depending on others. And everyone has to fight for himself. Stand on your own feet. Good deeds will lead to good fortune. Bad deeds will lead to bad luck. Good or bad the present situation is the result of past actions. The only one who can change it is yourself with various efforts, One of them is through efforts to build independence, especially during adolescence. Independence is an individual attitude that is acquired cumulatively during development, where individuals will continue to learn to be independent in dealing with various situations in the environment, so that individuals will eventually be able to think and act on their own. With independence, a person can choose his life path to be able to develop more steadily. However, in achieving their desire to be independent, adolescents often experience obstacles caused by the need to remain dependent on others.

Abstract

Cultural and religious diversity in society can be marked by the differences that exist in an area, both differences in religion, habits or ways of communicating. The existence this difference can be seen how the interactions, ways of appreciating and respecting are carried out fellow communities in order create a harmonious life and uphold tolerance. Sumberjati Village is a village where the community has different religious beliefs, besides that differences are used as a community as a means to be able to build common goals and create a life of solidarity, namely harmony and peace. Study focuses: 1) What are the communication patterns used by people of different religions in uniting common goals in Sumberjati Village to form Social Solidarity? 2) How to respect and tolerate between Muslim and Catholic communities in Sumberjati Village form social solidarity? This research uses qualitative research methods descriptive approach. Methods of data collection using: observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis: field analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. For the validity of the data using source triangulation. Results study the communication patterns used by people different religions in Sumberjati Village, namely using primary and circular communication patterns. Communication patterns used are well established and effective in maintaining relations between the people they can respect each other about differences from different beliefs and cultures, these differences do not make them conflict or conflict with each other, but instead make them respect each other more as God's creatures and can tolerate.

Abstract

Intercultural communication between students at the Nurul Hidayah Islamic boarding school Jember is faced with various problems both in terms of language, such as misunderstandings in understanding the meaning of language, until differences in nonverbal meanings such as speech intonation, how to dress to body movements. The focus of this research is to examine the process of verbal and nonverbal communication between students with different cultural backgrounds at the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of verbal and nonverbal communication between students with different cultural backgrounds at the Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School. method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The technique of collecting data is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study were obtained with conclusions, namely: 1) Verbal communication used is language. The use of the majority regional language that students use is Javanese, by using Javanese, the students' intercultural communication becomes more near than using Indonesian. That way, there is an effort for immigrant students to learn the Javanese language in order to avoid barriers to intercultural communication. The students also know each other's language in their respective regions in order to avoid misunderstandings in understanding the meaning of a word if it is interpreted in the language of each student's area. Various nonverbal meanings when conducting intercultural communication can be seen through the intonation when speaking, the body language of students and the way students dress. The difference in speaking intonation that comes from the accent of a region, is able to create stereotypes for a santri. These stereotypes become obstacles in communicating between cultures. To avoid this, it is necessary to have ethics behavior by students of different cultures, such as not creating stereotypes against an ethnicity, and respecting other cultures.
